THE SPACE

With gorgeous mountain views and open skies, you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Montana countryside in this 2 story home on 10 acres.

Downstairs, the living area has lots of natural light and cozy seating. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and perfect for gathering with family and friends. The kitchen opens to the back patio, with a picnic table and grill. A half bath is on the ground floor.

All three bedrooms are upstairs. The primary bedroom has a king bed and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and the third has one twin. A second full bathroom is also upstairs. An additional air mattress is available upon request, as well.

Lots of wildlife frequent the fields around the house, including deer, turkeys, Sandhill Cranes, the occasional elk, and many species of songbirds. Sunsets, sunrises and stargazing don't get better than here!

With ample parking and outdoor space, there is plenty of room to bring your boats, UTVs or motorcycles.

We are pet-friendly, so your dogs can join the vacation too! Accommodations for horses are available upon request, as well.

The home has high speed internet for remote workers and streaming. Central AC throughout the house to stay cool on the hottest days of summer!

THINGS TO DO

Cooney Reservoir, a popular boating spot, is 16 miles to the south.

The Yellowstone and Stillwater Rivers both offer terrific fishing and rafting.
Hiking and horseback riding trails are accessible from East and West Rosebud and Sioux Charley and are all about an hour away.

Red Lodge also offers tons of hiking and winter skiing, as well as shopping and great restaurants. Highway 78 from Columbus to Red Lodge is a lovely drive through rolling hills and ranchlands. The scenic Beartooth Highway and Yellowstone National Park are accessible via Red Lodge and Hwy 212.

Tippet Rise Art Center, around 30 minutes away, has miles of hiking and biking trails throughout 11,000 acres of the Beartooth foothills, as well as many outdoor sculptures.

Backcountry offroaders will find plenty of Forest Service trails to explore near Nye, including the Benbow mine area and Iron Mountain.
