Settle in beside the Stillwater River in this peaceful 3-bedroom, 3-bath luxury log home, tucked in to the tall pines and cottonwoods of the undiscovered Stillwater Valley of Absarokee, Montana. The interior glows with knotty pine and a soaring river-rock fireplace, and two decks open right onto the water. Find outdoor adventures nearby in every season, then spend your evenings cozied up by the fire under the endless Montana sky. A separate guest house means there's room for everyone. We are a short distance to Red Lodge, Beartooth highway and Yellowstone.

Star Haven Lodge is a 2,612-square-foot log home set right on the Stillwater River in Absarokee, Montana. The main level is all warm knotty pine, hardwood floors, and vaulted ceilings, with a river-rock gas fireplace anchoring the open living area. The kitchen is built for gathering, with a gas range, engineered stone countertops, and a massive breakfast bar that seats a crowd. Upstairs, a skylit loft makes a bright, private retreat.

Step out to two decks above the water, perfect for morning coffee or an evening by the fire pit. The public fishing and boat access is a short walk across the bridge, and a separate guest house keeps bigger groups from feeling crowded.

The cabin is close enough for day trips to the Beartooth highway and Yellowstone.

We provide pet towels, food and water bowls, and a treat or two for approved furry guests.
No fenced in back yard. So please keep your dog on a leash or you can take them over the bridge to the water access point for a little more freedom.
Please pick up after your dog at the cabin and water access point. Baggies will be provided.

Grill and propane The gas grill is stocked with propane. If it runs low during your stay, tanks can be refilled in town. Please let us know if it runs out.

External little Cabin will be available to guests who have over 10 guests. It sleeps 2. Max 12 guests total. It only has a toilet and a sink. Showers are only in the main cabin. There will be a key given to you by the Welcome book upon your arrival. Please return to the same place after your stay.

Quiet Hours: 11PM-7AM. We are in a quiet neighborhood with close neighbors. Please be respective of their time and space.
