Our non-smoking vacation apartment for 2 people is approximately 55 square meters and is located on a former farmstead on the outskirts of Hupperath, where livestock is raised. From the first floor, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the unique Eifel landscape. You can reach the separate entrance via a metal staircase with 17 steps. On the large lawn next to the house, you’ll find plenty of seating and lounging areas under fruit, nut, and chestnut trees where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. We can provide a grill upon request.
The center of Hupperath is about a 15- to 20-minute walk from our vacation rental. At the Eifeler Hof, you’ll find a place to enjoy home-style cooking from Thursday through Sunday starting at 6:00 p.m. The Eifel Pilgrim Bike Trail runs through Hupperath, and you can reach the Eifelsteig via a signposted access path about 2 km away. At the bus stops around the church, you’ll find hourly public transportation connections to Wittlich, Manderscheid, and Daun. You’ll find a wide variety of shopping options in the county seat of Wittlich, which is about a 10-minute drive (6 km) away via the L 34. The Wittlich City & Countryside vacation region, nestled between the maars and the Moselle, offers you not only the Eifelsteig but also other beautiful hiking and biking trails. For example, you can reach the Manderscheid castles—including a via ferrata—by car in just 20 minutes. On hot summer days, enjoy a long swim in one of the nearby maars. The Pulvermaar in Gillenfeld features a swimming area with a sunbathing lawn and a kiosk, as well as the option to rent pedal boats. The half-timbered town of Bernkastel on the Moselle is just 30 minutes away; you can visit the Roman city of Trier by car in about 40 minutes, or take a convenient train ride from Wittlich Central Station to Germany’s oldest city.
