Enjoy a relaxing stay in this panoramic apartment surrounded by greenery and located close to the city center.
The view from Ehrenbreitsteiner Höhe stretches from Ehrenbreitstein Fortress across the Rhine and Koblenz’s city center all the way to the Electoral Palace. From the foot of the Westerwald, the distant view extends to the heights of the Vulkaneifel and the Hunsrück. A cozy balcony invites you to relax.
Located directly across from Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, this attic apartment offers not only three sleeping areas but also a fantastic panoramic view from the balcony, looking directly out onto the Rhine promenade in Koblenz. From the apartment, you can explore the surrounding area at your leisure.
After a relaxing breakfast on the southwest-facing balcony, you can set out on day trips to the Loreley, Maria Laach Abbey, Bonn’s Museum Mile, or the Nürburgring, or go on bike rides along the Rhine. Hiking enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy around Koblenz. In addition to the Rheinsteig and the Traumpfade trails, the Rhein Höhnweg runs along both banks of the Rhine from Bonn through the Middle Rhine Valley all the way to Wiesbaden. Located almost exactly halfway between these two points, our apartment is therefore the ideal starting point for exploring the Middle Rhine Valley on various day trips.
In addition to the apartment, a sunroom is also available for your use during your stay. Even when the weather isn’t so nice, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery from here. You can park your car with ease in the spacious garage, which easily accommodates even larger vehicles. The garage is reserved exclusively for your use during your stay.
The apartment is located directly across from Ehrenbreitstein Fortress on a dead-end street. A bus stop is 150 m away. Buses run every 30 minutes to downtown. You can also reach the center of Ehrenbreitstein on foot within 10 minutes. From here, you can reach downtown Koblenz in just a few minutes by ferry or by bus. The fortress elevator (which starts at the foot of the fortress) is also included in the public transit ticket. It’s just two stops away from our bus stop.
You’ll find shopping options in the neighborhood, Ehrenbreitstein, and Niederberg. Both are accessible on foot, by bus, or by car. In the Ehrenbreitstein neighborhood, there’s a grocery store in addition to cafes and a pharmacy. Every Wednesday, there’s a weekly market on Kapuzinerplatz from 16.00 - 19.00. When the weather is nice, you can usually linger there with a glass of wine and a bite to eat. But the shops in the town center also look forward to your visit—not just on Wednesdays.
During the summer season, you can cross the Rhine by ferry in just a few minutes. You’ll then find yourself right on the Rhine promenade with access to the Koblenz aerial cableway and the boat docks. From there, it’s just a few steps to Koblenz’s Old Town with its many restaurants and bars. The Deutsches Eck is also within walking distance.
