Stylishly renovated old apartment in a listed city villa near the Elbe cycle path

Our next vacation rental, located on the second floor (2nd floor) in Dresden-Pieschen, is now available for rent. It has been completely renovated and looks forward to welcoming guests who wish to enjoy the special atmosphere of the historic “Oscar” city villa.

The villa’s interior meets the highest standards. Plans for the restoration of the facade and the exterior of the house are still being developed in accordance with historic preservation guidelines.
The apartment measures approximately 72 m² and features a large living room, a bedroom with built-in closets, and another bedroom with a sofa bed. The room also serves as a quiet retreat. It features a luxurious, light-filled, spacious bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and heated floors; a separate, large, spacious kitchen; and a living room with a bay window, complete with an HD TV, DVD player, stereo system, and internet access. The tiled stove is out of service. Secure, visible, and free parking spaces are located in the locked courtyard, directly below the apartment. The building is equipped with motion detectors all around and is appropriately lit.
There is also a rain-protected shelter (shelter) here with a nice bench, which can be used by smokers, among others. It also serves as a storage area for bicycles. There are bike chain locks mounted on the walls. A lockable bike shed with outlets for battery chargers is nearing completion.

Across from the building are two streetcar stops that provide round-the-clock service to the city center. You’ll also find all the relevant shopping options—such as Rewe, Aldi, a butcher shop, and bakeries—right across the street. The house is about 200 meters from the Elbe River, next to the Elbe Bike Path and the “Watzke” Ball & Brauhaus with its special beer garden and unique view of the Old Town. There are also various other restaurants and beer gardens, both right next to the house and along the Elbe. And all of this within a radius of a few hundred meters.

- There is a small animal welfare organization on the first floor; only cats are allowed in the locked apartment.
- Minimum booking period: 3 nights / Long-term rentals are not available.
- The second floor of the historic building requires a certain level of physical fitness.
- The wood-burning stove is out of service.
- Travel cancellation insurance is recommended.
