This luxury holiday home is located right on the water near Amsterdam and Alkmaar. You have your own terrace right by the water and an open living room with large windows. So you can enjoy the passing boats all day long. In warm weather, you can jump straight into the water. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, from where you can walk straight onto the roof terrace, where you have an amazing view
Naturally, you explore the area here from the water. You can hire a boat, a canoe or a windsurfboard in the immediate vicinity. The surroundings, which consist of water, dykes, windmills and dunes, are also great to explore by bike. Along the way, you snack on herring, have a kibble or a croquette sandwich at one of the many outdoor cafés. We also definitely recommend a visit to beautiful Alkmaar. Alkmaar is famous for its cheese market, order a cheeseboard and glass of heineken somewhere and appreciate the Netherlands. If you want to enjoy the sea, go to the seaside beaches of Castricum or Egmond aan Zee
