Charming Old Town house in Schleswig’s cobblestone streets: 90 m² spread over 4 floors, balcony overlooking the Mühlenbach, sleeps 2–4, fully equipped kitchen, allergy-friendly
This lovingly furnished little house is located in a low-traffic area on one of Schleswig’s oldest cobblestone streets. As a typical old town house, it has just one room per floor. We therefore want to point out that anyone who doesn’t like climbing stairs would have to stay in the dining room on the first floor. From there, they could step out onto the balcony overlooking the Mühlenbach. In return, however, the entire Old Town would still be at their feet, and in just a few steps they’d be in the maze of alleys near the Graukloster, at the Rathausmarkt, by the cathedral, on the Holm, or at the harbor. This is the historic center of the city, and yet, just 50 meters further on, the Holmer Noor comes into view.
We offer you a lovingly furnished townhouse spread over 4 small floors, totaling 90 m². Let’s start under the roof: There you’ll find the bedroom with a large double bed, next to it a small shower room with a toilet. Below that, on the first floor, is the living room with a sofa area and a TV. Facing the street with a view of the cathedral, there’s a French bed in an alcove. This means the house can accommodate up to four people—though two of you should be willing to snuggle up together. On the first floor, where the entrance from the street is located, you’ll find the kitchen and, on the waterfront side, the dining room. From there, a balcony—perfect for outdoor breakfasts—stretches all the way to the cheerfully babbling Mühlenbach stream. There’s still space under the balcony; from there, you can also enter the house, park your bikes, and head up to the first floor—unless, of course, you’d like to enjoy a bath in the tub, use the restroom, or start the washing machine in the basement first. Nevertheless, we’d like to point this out once more: If you don’t like climbing stairs, this little cottage is unfortunately not the right choice for you.
During your visit, you’ll surely notice that we’ve made every effort to ensure you have everything you need. That’s why you’ll not only find plenty of dishes and pots—and the oven is at eye level—but there are also scissors, small and large knives, a bread knife, and a cutting board, bottle and can openers, a dishwasher, a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a washing machine. The washing machine is in the basement, along with the vacuum system, which helps keep the house virtually dust-free for people with allergies. The third bed is available and can be booked for an additional fee of 15 EUR per night. And now, we’d like to welcome you whenever you’re available: Welcome!
