The Schlei, a Baltic Sea fjord, stretches from the Baltic Sea deep inland all the way to Schleswig and offers endless possibilities, from water sports and bike rides to classic beach vacations.<br><br>The gently rolling countryside, the fresh air, the rapeseed blossoms in May, and quaint villages and towns like Husum or Flensburg make a vacation in northern Schleswig-Holstein unforgettable.<br><br>Haus Eriksson was originally built as a sturdy residence for the milkman of the neighboring farm. A few years ago, we took it over and gave it a stylish makeover. Light-colored furniture, modern elements, whitewashed cork flooring—just not a log cabin like our other houses. Haus Eriksson has a very large terrace—sunny, sheltered from the wind, and largely out of sight. It’s adjoined by a large, private garden with old apple trees.<br><br>Bright, spacious living room with a dining table. Kitchen with a breakfast table and a door leading to the terrace. Very spacious bathroom. Upstairs, near the two bedrooms, there’s an additional restroom.<br><br>Let the rising sun wake you up in the master bedroom. A morning coffee on the large east-facing balcony would be a particularly wonderful way to start the day.<br><br>In the evening, enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning stove or a mystery novel in bed (TV in the master bedroom).
