Traditional local festivities and the renowned international film festival are hosted here, enlivening this small, tranquil place. The number of towns and villages to visit is too long to list; here we are in the heart of central Istria, one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is also famous for local Teran and Malvazija grapes, olive oil, homemade cheese, prosciutto, grilled meat and of course truffles, which you can taste in restaurants in the many villages and towns in the region. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails, one of the most beautiful of which is the historic Parenzana - old railroad line, where you can even experience the unique ride on the tourist train along the historic route.
