The Tiroler Ache River flows through Marquartstein, and smaller lakes such as Wössner See in Unterwössen, Zeller See in Schleching, and Reifinger See in Grassau are beautiful swimming lakes and easily accessible by bike. For children, there’s a lovely playground in town as well as a fairy-tale park with a summer toboggan run. Salzburg, with its many attractions, is also just about a 45-minute drive away (63 km). In winter, skiers will also find plenty to enjoy, as the Winkelmoos/Steinplatte ski area in Reit im Winkl is only 15 km away. The beautiful location of the Achental valley leaves nothing to be desired and offers so many recreational activities that everyone is sure to find something to their liking.<br> In our cozy, newly renovated non-smoking apartment on the 1st floor (attic level), you’ll find everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The living room features a large TV, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped with an electric stove and oven, a Senseo coffee pad machine, a toaster, a refrigerator, dishes, and pots. You’ll also find a new solid-wood bedroom with a freshly made double bed and a spacious closet; an extra bed for a child up to 6 years old is available upon request. Additional sleeping space is available in the hallway with a pull-out couch measuring 2.00 x 1.40 m. When the weather is nice, the balcony is the perfect spot for breakfast, offering a magnificent view of the Schnappen, the Hochlerch, and Marquartstein Castle. The bathroom features a bathtub with shower, toilet, hair dryer, washing machine, new high-quality bathroom cabinetry, and a skylight. Towels are provided. If needed, you’ll find a small selection of books, magazines, board and card games, as well as information on activities and local attractions. Free Wi-Fi and a parking space are available on-site. The “Glückswegerl” trail runs along the property and takes you directly to the Menter Bakery in 5 minutes.
