Our vacation rental is located in Rostock, in the Gehlsdorf neighborhood on the east bank of the Warnow River. The Gehlsdorf neighborhood is characterized by its spacious layout, featuring detached villas, apartment buildings, and gardens.
Our guests appreciate Gehlsdorf’s quiet residential setting with its exclusive ambiance, combined with its proximity to the city and its amenities. The neighborhood enchants visitors with its maritime charm, its boathouses, and the view of the skyline of the Hanseatic city of Rostock.
Also worth highlighting are the waterfront promenade with its mature trees and Gehlsdorf’s oldest restaurant, the “Fährhaus.”

In addition to numerous water sports opportunities, Gehlsdorf offers a new indoor swimming pool with a sauna.
The center of the Hanseatic city of Rostock can be reached in about 10 minutes by car, ferry, or public transportation. Rostock, with its Brick Gothic architecture, countless shops and restaurants, museums, theaters, and newly expanded city harbor, invites visitors to linger with its maritime charm and Hanseatic hospitality.

The largest maritime event, the annual “Hanse-Sail,” is the gathering place for a wide variety of tall ships and traditional sailing vessels from all over the world. The Hanse-Sail attracts thousands of guests to Rostock with its many offerings.

The sandy beaches of Warnemünde (approx. 10 km through the Warnow Tunnel) and Markgrafenheide (approx. 20 km) are easily accessible by car.
