There’s a wonderful seaside festival on New Year’s Eve, and the view of Heiligendamm with its spectacular fireworks is a dream. The apartment is located in a quiet old fishing village near Heiligendamm. It’s just a 250-meter walk to the natural beach, the dog beach, and the nudist beach. A small market is just a 2-minute walk away, featuring Sunday markets, etc., as well as cafés, restaurants, and fishermen selling their catch right on the beach. Opportunities for long walks or bike rides in Warnemünde or Kühlungsborn. Rostock is 20 minutes away. If you’re traveling by car, Wismar invites you to its water park.


Golf, horseback riding: The Ostsee Golf Resort Wittenbeck is just a few minutes’ drive from Börgerende. There you’ll find the compact 9-hole Höstingen course and the 18-hole championship Eikhof course, set among lakes and streams, boulders, and stone walls, offering breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea and the “cooling” forest. At the Arielle equestrian camp, you can take a ride through nature, with views of the Baltic Sea, across the meadows toward the “Psyche” (forest), as well as in the indoor riding arena and the outdoor riding arena. Just a short distance from the beautiful harbor in Kühlungsborn, boat rentals and sunbathing on the beach are also available for non-riders.
