Here, you’ll find a table with garden chairs and a lounge set waiting for you. <br>The driveway has space for two cars, and at the end is a garden shed. There, you can store items such as bicycles, surfing gear, or fishing equipment. <br><br>Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the house, and pets are not allowed.<br><br>Your vacation destination, Herkingen (about a 4-minute walk), is a small, tranquil town on the Goeree-Overflakkee peninsula. Here you’ll find a snack bar, restaurants, and a store selling boating supplies, where you can also rent bicycles. <br>The marina is a popular gathering spot for water sports enthusiasts and is just a 3-minute walk away. Watch the marina’s hustle and bustle here while enjoying a cup of coffee or a Dutch specialty.<br>Would you like to get active yourself? The Grevelingenmeer, right on your doorstep, invites you to go windsurfing, paddling, and more. The water remains shallow well into the Grevelingenmeer, making it ideal for safe swimming. <br><br>The peninsula offers many well-marked bike paths for enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. Or you can visit one of the many charming little towns with a flair typical of the region. Here, you can stroll, shop, or wander through a weekly market to your heart’s content. <br>You can visit a seal sanctuary in Stellendam. There’s also a fishing port there. Early on Friday mornings, the boats come in to unload their catch. The fish are sorted and then auctioned off.<br><br>By car, you can reach several expansive North Sea beaches in about 20 minutes.
