Off the beaten track amidst idyllic century old olive groves and almond trees our holiday house „ Vista Mare“ occupies a hillside position with a stunning view to the nearby sea.
It ´s only ten minutes away from enchanting beaches of Santa Sabine and Torre Guaceto with ist cristalline and unspoiled water. Our location is perfect for daytrips to many interesting places in Puglia like the Castellana Caves ( 40 km),the city of Grottaglie pottery( 45 km ),Lecce ( baroque city) 40 km and the famous castle of Frederik II „ Castel del Monte“. Our selfcatering villa built in 2010 is only 3 km outside of Carovigno where several supermarkets and a typical Italian market once week meet all your shopping expectations. For all questions about the country and people you have the landlord at your disposal. The idyllic setting and the surrounding scenery will make your stay a unique and unforgettable experience.

We had a great stay in the cottage over the Cristmas holidays. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need for a longer or shorter stay. Great location to visit all the main attraction sites in Puglia.

Lovely place to stay

Very comfortable, with everything you’ll need, peaceful, tranquil setting with open views of the sea and local countryside; the hosts were very welcoming indeed, very friendly and helpful, even giving us some fresh eggs from their hens! The house was very private, and even with the hosts living nearby, there was never any sense of noticing they were really there, they were respectful, courteous, friendly and very helpful if needed. Highly recommended, a lovely, peaceful location in a very comfortable house.

House in Carovigno

Very nice house with beautiful view. Very quiet neighbourhood. And the hosts are very kind. Even thow they live on the property, you don’t hear or see them. I loved the fresh eggs and pomodori they gave us. Definitely would come back.

Large home in a peaceful area.

We arrived late in the day as we had car problems. The owners Pasqua and Andreas met us in town to take us to the home, which we found to be very comfortable and spotless. The next day they we so kind to help us take care of our car issue, which was by all means , not easy and time consuming. we could not have asked for a more amazing couple. The location was good as we were able to get to other areas in Puglia with no difficulty. Would highly recommend staying there. Joanie and Helen

Beautiful sea view villa

From the moment we booked to stay, to arriving and leaving the whole experience was fantastic. We stayed over xmas and new year was made to feel welcome by Andreas, Pascal and Tobias and Benjamin the Sons who were there for xmas. Nothing was too much trouble, we had fresh eggs and wood for the fire frequently so we never run out. The property is very comfortable and homely and is very well equipped. The views were spectacular. To be honest we could not fault anything and would most definitely stay again but most of all we have made firm friends with this wonderful family. This property has positives but needs updating.

This property only has one full bathroom., not 2 and 1/2. Decor in bedrooms and bath are way out of date .House has no heat. We had to make fires each day. Property managers were very nice, responsive and helpful and Puglia is great . This house(which has no address and doesn’t show on GPS) so check in is tricky as you drive in and are told to meet Andreas at a place you’re unfamiliar with. We ultimately used neighboring B&Bs address for GPS which worked. ,but coordinates would help. When we were leaving Andreas tried to charge us for electricity usage which we’ve never experienced from VRBO. Also this house says it sleeps six and for most of our three week stay only my husband and I were in the house but we had extra charges as we had a couple visit for 6 nights and our 22 year old granddaughter stay for 5 nights which we found unusual.

Dear, Carol thanks for your message. On the website it is announced very clearly within the house rules that electricity is to pay recording consumption. Also the photos shows the property and its furniture like it is. The heating is at the moment electric (which you did not want to use because of costs) or with a stove. Please read carefully a houses advertisement in advance and be sure of it before renting as you had the choice to spend more money for a house which meets your needs Best regards

Fabulous - highly recommend

This gorgeous property and beautiful host Andreas are superb and I hope I can do them both the justice they deserve. We were a family of 4 travelling for a month from Australia. We drove from Salerno and arrived in the evening at Carovigno to a very welcoming Andreas, who showed us around and even brought us pizza and cold beers for our arrival, which was very much appreciated. We visited in the summer and it was hot (30c+) but we didn’t need to turn the aircon on at all, this was because the property has great block out screens on every window to keep out the heat of the sun, if you choose. Another major bonus are the fly screens on the windows, in the evening you can open and let the cool air in without being plagued by mosquitoes. The property is very well equipped and very comfortable. It has a good size washing machine. The beds are very comfortable, we all slept soundly during our stay. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. The location is amongst the olive trees and we enjoyed a good 8-10km of peaceful running/walking around the area in the early mornings. There are so many nice things to say about this property and our host Andreas, it really is a perfect place to stay. The sunsets in the evening are amazing. I highly recommend this holiday home and Andreas and would definitely visit again. Andreas really did go above and beyond for us, thank you so much Andreas ❤️

Férias no campo. Countryside holidays.

A casa é confortável, ampla e clara com uma excelente vista sobre oliveiras e o mar ao longe. Os banheiros e a cozinhas são bons e modernos. A varanda e o terraço acima da casa são aprazíveis, e o lugar é bem tranquilo embora seja próximo da cidade. Saindo da casa é possível fazer belos passeios a pé, corridas ou com bicicletas . Ao redor da pequena Caravigno, tem cidades interessantes para se visitar com bons restaurantes, destaques para Martina Franca, Locorotongo e Alberobelo e suas trulis. O restaurante estrelado no centro de Caravigno é muito bom. A propritária é solícita e simpática. The house is comfortable, spacious and bright with a great view of olive trees and the sea in the distance. Bathrooms and kitchen are nice and modern. The balcony and terrace above the house are pleasant, and the place is very quiet although close to the city. Leaving the house can make beautiful walks, runs or bikes. Around the small Caravigno has interesting cities to visit with good restaurants, highlights for Martina Franca, and Locorotongo Alberobelo and their trulis. The starred restaurant in downtown Caravigno is very good. The owner is helpful and friendly.

Villa Vistamare is a very well equipped and maintained property with beautiful vistas overlooking olive trees and the Adriatic. It was clean and comfortable with lots of outdoor space for quiet relaxation. If you like wood burning stoves, you will enjoy the efficient heating of this one. Only 5 minutes from town where you can purchase fresh produce from the markets, fresh pasta from the “Pastificio” and fresh fish from the “Pescheria”. Andreas and Pasqua were wonderful hosts during our 37-day stay. Andreas became a truly good friend who went out of his way to help us on many occasions.Thank you for a wonderful stay.R&D

Ein schöner Ort, um ihn Apulien Urlaub zu machen. Das Ferienhaus hat alles, was man braucht. Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und kümmern sich sofort, wenn etwas gebraucht wird. Das Olivenöl von den eigenen Bäumen schmeckt vorzüglich.

Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Meerblick

Schönes gemütliches Haus zum Wohlfühlen und idealer Ausgangspunkt zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten Apuliens. Sehr nahe und schnell erreichbar (15 Autominuten) ist der traumhafte Ort Ostuni mit vielen wunderbaren Restaurants. Hervorzuheben sind auch die herzlichen Eigentümer, die uns hin und wieder mit frischen Eiern und Gebäck verwöhnt haben. Apulien ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

Aangenaam verblijf

Ons verblijf was zeer aangenaam. Andreas en zijn vrouw en zoon Tobias zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. De communicatie vooraf en tijdens het verblijf met Tobias en Andreas verliep heel soepel. We konden alles vragen. Omdat we pas in de avond aankwamen had zijn vrouw pasta bolgnesse voor ons gemaakt. En de volgende dag bracht Andreas een tas met verse broodjes, eigengemaakte jam en boter voor het ontbijt. De locatie is heel centraal voor het bezoeken van plaatsjes en/of het strand. Het huis is compleet en ligt heerlijk rustig. Kortom, we hebben het heerlijk gehad!

Villa à Carovigno

Exactement ce que nous recherchions. Pleine campagne, calme. Pleine saison de récolte des olives. À la petite ville de Carovigno à quelques kilomètres de la villa nous avons trouvé plusieurs épiceries et un excellent restaurant (Casa mia Bistrot). La propriétaire nous a accueillis avec gentillesse et des oeufs frais de ses poules. Andreas le propriétaire qui parle français a rapidement répondu à nos questions. Si vous aimez la nature et les d’oliviers vous allez être ravis. Merci à la famille Staudte. Nous recommandons l’endroit sans réserve.

Magnifique et au calme

Accueil très chaleureux d'Andreas et sa famille. Maison à l'écart de la ville, au calme, entourée d'oliviers. Location très bien équipée, propre et spacieuse. La terrasse est incroyable, la piscine parfaite et la douche extérieure est un petit plus quand il fait beau et chaud !! Un grand merci à Andreas pour les légumes de son jardin! Nous conseillons cet endroit sans hésiter ( une voiture est nécessaire)!
