We had a very pleasant stay. Everything was available as described. The pool was very clean and the lounge chairs were comfortable. The villa is a perfect base to visit several well-known places in this part of Puglia: Lecce, Ostuni, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli ...

As a family of 5 with children aged between 11-15 we had a great stay at Villa Siena. Great location if you want to explore the beautiful towns and beaches of Puglia or just want to relax at the villa’s pool and terrace. Outdoor space is excellent. A car is highly recommended if you are like us and enjoy eating out at night. There are so many places to visit in the evenings that are anything from 10 to 45 minutes away depending on where you want to go. Local beaches are only 5-10 minutes by car so the villa really gives great options for quiet days by the pool or time at the beaches and local restaurants. Giuseppina is very helpful and is only a phone call away if needed.

Very nice house, with big clean pool. Super seaview from the rooftop terrace. Short drive to great towns such as Lecce and Ostuni. Also 5 mins from the sea.

Stunning landscape & pool!

We enjoyed our stay at Liliana’s lovely house. The property is very large and lush with beautiful plantings and trees. And what is not to like about the beautiful pool! The beds were comfortable and we appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked for the meals we prepared. The location was very convenient to see the sights. Highly recommend a stay and hope to return.

nice place to stay

the house super fine. owner and contactperson super! Guisuppina is great help and always replying on questions even on touristic topics. House is full operational and provids all you want and are used to as at home. There is coffee tea salt pepper etc etc.great pool and good working airco’s. We can recomment it. Negatieve is that you must drive 8-10 minutes to a place to have a drink or to eat.

Villa Siena

We enjoyed our stay very much. Good communications with Lilliana and Guiseppina. Guiseppina was very helpful. Tricky having no postcode to find the property especially when we arrived in the dark! We were sent the Google map link but took a while to get a WiFi signal. Nevertheless we especially loved the pool, bathrooms rather small, and lost hot water on a couple of occasions, also we did not find the mattresses very comfortable. Overall though very good.

I'm sorry you struggled to find a home. The check-in is usually until 4 pm For you Giuseppina stopped until 10 pm due to the delay of your plane, but she sent you the exact position of the house. Your cell phone was probably not working properly. As for the mattresses, the taste is very personal. There are those who prefer them soft, others hard. No one has ever complained before. Everything was great!

From booking via vrbo to the check out, everything was a smooth process. Liliana was very helpful with all my questions leading up to the stay. The accommodation was easy to find (via google maps) and the pictures of the villa and descriptions were exactly how it was when arriving at the villa. Instructions were very clear and Giuseppina (house keeper) was welcoming and helpful. Communication from both Liliana and Giuseppina was fast. Location was great with only 20 mins drive to Ostuni and a 10min drive to the nearest Supermarket (Familia San Vito). We do recommend a car for ease of travel. One part which was a bit confusing was setting the house alarm, but just need to be patient. Highly recommend this villa. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Liliana and Giuseppina!

Mixed standard of facilities

Grounds and pool are lovely Lack of shade at the poolside (only one small parasol) and on the terrace (no shade in the morning). Air con does not work well, particularly in bedroom area, we were very hot at night. Outside space lighting isn’t good eg bbq in darkness, had to use my phone to light but seating area extremely bright/ too bright- so we sat at the table rather than using this space. Seating area is in direct sunlight in the morning so not well positioned or needs an awning to give shade.

Good morning Gemma, I am very sorry that you did not fully appreciate your stay in Puglia. In fact that week was exceptionally hot (40 degrees) and the temperature in the house could not go down to 18° as requested and desired. The house has three porches, you could simply move the table to the more shaded porch if the 9 am sun bothered you for breakfast, I love it. In an email at the time of booking I gave you all the useful details of the house and explained that there is often a strong wind and therefore umbrellas larger than the one provided are dangerous. I will take your suggestions into consideration anyway. Best regards Liliana

Lovely relaxing stay

The Villa is well appointed and was clean and tidy on arrival. The local property manager was really helpful on check in and provided plenty of suggestions and help through the week. The space indoors and out is lovely; we especially enjoyed the terraces in the evening (both ground floor and the roof terrace), the outdoor bbq facilities, and the pool. Due to plenty of plants/trees on the large property plot, the Villa really feels secluded and very tranquil. A car is required, but it’s only a short drive to plenty of local amenities and attractions. The old centres of the two local villages are very lovely, and ostuni, about 15mins away, is a must see. The Villa is also only a short drive (5-10mins) from some laid back beach bars and a waterside nature reserve with plenty of beach options. The Villa is conveniently located for airports and the north of Puglia, whilst also allowing access via a reasonable drive to the the southern part of Puglia and the beaches of salento. Lecce was a forty minute drive, and 45 minutes got us to the wonderful beaches on the coast. Would happily stay again at Villa Siena (and probably will in the next couple of years!)

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa Siena, der Pool war super, das Anwesen sehr gepflegt , alles perfekt für uns. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.Wir haben zur Begrüßung 1 großen Obstkorb und weitere Leckereien überreicht bekommen, sogar eine gekühlte Flasche Prosecco war dabei.Wir haben Tipps und Informationen für unseren Aufenthalt von unseren Gastgebern erhalten, sie waren sehr hilfsbereit.Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Accueil et gentillesse de Giuseppina tout au long du séjour.Maison de vacances avec tout le nécessaire et propre. Bonne literie dans les deux grands lits. Les lits d’une personne sont plutôt pour des enfants. Salles de bains petites mais fonctionnelles avec douche, toilette et une avec bain. Air conditionné, parfait avec la chaleur d’été. Bel espace terrasse tout autour de la maison, ombragé à partir de la fin de matinée, ce qui est parfait. Belle piscine avec transats, parasol et serviettes de piscine. Vue sur la mer. Beau grand jardin. Quartier très calme dans la campagne, terrain fermé, portail, alarme. Proche des commerces, de la plage, des restaurants et situation centrale pour visiter les Pouilles.

Herzliches Willkommen von Liliana und Guisippina mit vielen Tipps für den Aufenthalt.Das schöne Haus liegt in einem riesigen verwunschenen Garten und hat einen gepflegten großen und einladenden Pool.Es gibt rund um das Haus und auf dem Haus riesige Terrassen mit tollsten Ausblicken.Der Standort bot sich an, alle top ten-Highlights Apuliens gemäß Dumont-Reiseführer zu erkunden.Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Wir haben mit unseren beiden Kindern (5 und 7 Jahre) drei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Das Anwesen mit Pool und Haus sind in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum, der Pool war für unsere Kinder großartig. Wir können dieses Haus wirklich nur empfehlen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten uns mit jeglichen Fragen an die Vermieterin bzw. die zuständige Hilfe vor Ort wenden. Alles war sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles in einem Top Zustand! Die Lage des Hauses ist auch sehr gut, man fährt ca. 15 Minuten zum Strand und die gleiche Zeit nach Carovigno bzw. Ostuni! Und zum Flughafen nach Brindisi sind es nur 20 Minuten.

Wir haben zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß, komplett eingezäunt und sehr gepflegt. Es gibt neben dem wunderschönen Pool einen Grill und einen Pizzaofen, außerdem eine Bohoschaukel zum Seele baumeln lassen. Das Haus hat eine überdachte Terrasse und eine Dachterrasse mit Blick aufs Meer und ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, was das (Urlauber-) Herz begehrt.Liliana ist eine Vollblutgastgeberin und möchte, dass sich ihre Gäste wohlfühlen. Das spürt man im ganzen Haus. Sie hat uns schon im Vorfeld viele Informationen zum Haus, der Umgebung, zu Märkten etc. zukommen lassen, was für uns sehr hilfreich war und wir schon von zu Hause aus ein paar Dinge planen konnten. Als wir angekommen sind, war schon Wasser, Milch und frisches Obst im Kühlschrank. Auch Giuseppina möchten wir erwähnen, die uns das Haus übergeben und uns alles erklärt hat, uns auch während des Urlaubs bei Fragen zur Verfügung stand, uns Tipps für Restaurants und Strände gegeben hat usw. Auch sie ist super lieb und hilfsbereit!! Das Haus ist sehr sauber, worauf wir persönlich sehr großen Wert legen. Die Bäder sind wie in den vorherigen Bewertungen schon erwähnt etwas kleiner, aber in unseren Augen völlig ausreichend. Jeweils mit Waschbecken und WC sowie Dusche bzw. Badewanne ausgestattet. Von der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Blick aufs Grüne und den Pool - Urlaubsfeeling pur.

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Villa Siena. Lekker huis en een fantastische tuin met een ruime buiten ruimte. Heerlijk zwembad In één woord fantastisch Communicatie, gastvrijheid alles was top! Bedankt wij hebben heerlijke uitjes gemaakt, villa Siena ligt zeer centraal

Très belle maison et conforme au descriptif. Très bonne accueil de Giuseppina qui vous accueille. La propriétaire Liliana est charmante et très disponible. Elles sont été aux petits soins pour nous. Elles vous donneront de très bonnes adresses. La maison est très agréable avec une piscine idéale. La terrasse avec vue sur mer est parfaite pour admirer le coucher de soleil. Entspannter Urlaub

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Villa Siena. Guiseppina hat uns sehr nett begrüßt und mit Tipps versorgt, sie war ebenso wie die Vermieterin, die uns vorab über alles Wichtige informierte, über WhatsApp erreichbar. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet, wir haben den Pool sehr genossen, ebenso den Blick rundherum in den Garten. Die Lage ist prima für Ausflüge in die interessanten Städte in der Umgebung wie zB Matera, Lecce oder um abends in Ostuni mit einem Glas Wein und tollem Ausblick an der Stadtmauer im Avenida 40 Café zu sitzen. Wir können die Villa Siena absolut weiterempfehlen!

Superbe séjour !

Une villa très bien équipée, très propre et dotée d'un toit terrasse avec vue sur la mer à 180 degrés. Un jardin méditerranéen magnifique, une belle piscine et un accueil chaleureux et plein d'attention de Giuseppina et Liliana. Merci mesdames pour ce séjour parfait qui nous a tous enchanté.
