Moorfrosch is located right on the lake in a vacation resort with 32 cottages. Unobstructed lake views from the terrace. 2 bedrooms
Directly overlooking Lake Userin in the Mecklenburg Lake District lies a vacation resort with 32 authentic Swedish-style cottages of various sizes. The small Moorfrosch cottage, designed to accommodate up to four people, stands out for its lovely location at the front edge of the complex, offering guests unobstructed lake views from both the living room and the terrace. It exudes the cozy charm of wood, is habitable in all seasons, and—thanks to adjustable electric heating and a charming wood-burning stove—remains cozy and warm even in winter. It is generously equipped with everything a guest could hope to find in terms of technology and comfort (from the flat-screen TV with satellite reception to the microwave, and from the outdoor grill to the dishwasher). A private canoe is available for guests right next to the house.
On the first floor, you’ll find a cozy living area with an integrated kitchenette and dining area. A wood-burning stove (wood available at the front desk) adds a touch of romance and warmth on cooler days and in the winter. Garden furniture and a small grill await you on the wooden deck. Mosquito screens and blackout curtains are provided in the sleeping area. The double-bed bedroom on the first floor offers plenty of closet space. The loft on the upper level, separated by a wall, feels like a cozy treehouse to children. There are two separate beds there.
The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Stove with oven and range hood, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Tassimo, electric kettle, toaster, blender, mixer, and waffle iron. Convenient storage space for groceries.
For entertainment, there’s a flat-screen TV with satellite connection, a VCR, and Wi-Fi. A small book box and plenty of games are available for guests to enjoy.
Surroundings:
It’s worth exploring the local specialty restaurants and planning a stroll through nearby Neustrelitz (6 km) or, for example, the larger city of Neubrandenburg. In these cities, you’ll find not only shopping centers but also plenty of cultural attractions, ranging from museums to concerts and theater performances. Countless suggestions for sightseeing trips or fun activities are available at the house, such as visits to castles, pony rides, museum villages, and historic sites.
Perhaps you’d like to take a longer trip to the Baltic Sea or spend a day in Berlin? Above all, though, let yourself be enchanted by the natural beauty of the Lake District and the national park landscape.
