A completely ecologically renovated half-timbered house with tasteful furnishings and ample space in four bedrooms. It's part of a traditional four-sided farmstead whose grounds border directly on the small Löcknitz River, which meanders parallel to the Elbe. Just cross a small side street to reach the river, where you'll find an orchard and a lovely seating area. The charming town of Lenzen, with its prominent castle, is considered the gateway to the Elbe River floodplain nature reserve. The castle houses a restaurant, a rowboat rental, and the Center for European Floodplain Ecology, where you can learn all about the unique features of your holiday region.

Nearby activities: Strolling through Lenzen, you can discover the town hall dating from 1713, St. Catherine's Church with its 13th-century architectural elements, remnants of the 14th-century town gate, and the old town moat. Cycling tours through the Elbe floodplains or to the dike relocation areas near the Lenzen Elbe ferry are also highly recommended. The idyllic Rudower See, which belongs to Lenzen, covers an area of 180 hectares – perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. The romantic lakeside path offers opportunities to observe the local flora and fauna – especially in autumn when the geese and cranes migrate.
