The three bedroom, two bathroom suite, large living room, dining room, with hand adzed beams, wood-burning fireplace, and sundeck create an ambiance not replicated in other Tofino homes. There is a very comfortable king-sized bed in the master bedroom with adjacent three piece en-suite, queen bedroom with completely new shower en-suite, and twin bedroom with extra long twin beds. The living area is spacious enough for games, the fireplace, and flat screen TV. The dining room table seats 6 comfortably. A large south facing sundeck wraps around the three bedrooms, overlooking Tonquin Beach. At the main entrance, there is a covered deck with barb-b-que.
Following the 20 steps down to the west facing beach on a short path there is a beautiful pocket sandy beach, perfect for relaxing, sunsets, outdoor beach games or a hot dog roast. There is also an outdoor fire pit on the property adjacent to the beach- (when fires are permitted by law). The stunning Tonquin Trail can be enjoyed by the walking path at the top of the driveway, or at low tide from the small beach on the property. Tonquin Beach is a hidden treasure, with Indigenous cultural history, scenic caves, and a natural freshwater pool perfect for young children to splash in and enjoy. For those interested in fishing, you can try your luck by casting for fish right off the rocks in front of the house from June to September !
If you prefer, you can walk the 1 km. road into town to enjoy an evening meal or go shopping.
