Beachfront Apartment with Private Pool, BBQ, and Sea views

Two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, ground floor apartment set within a modern two storey Villa, with private pool and BBQ, located only 200 meters from Meia Praia beach and beach restaurants, and only a 5 minute drive from the Marina, Palmares golf course and Lagos historic centre. The Villa can be rented as a whole or separate: ground floor with private pool or top floor with private roof terrace. Great for family holidays, golf enthusiasts or joint couple retreat.

Available for long winter lets: November-March.
Minimum stay is usually 7 nights but flexible in between arrivals and departures. Please ask owner for more information.

Our modern two bedroom apartment has magnificent views of Meia Praia beach, one of western Algarve´s largest beaches and voted one of the top 10 best beaches on the Algarve.
If preferred not to use a car, you can enjoy a 20 minute walk on the beach towards Lagos, where there are various beach restaurants/cafes along the way. For all the sport enthusiasts, there are various sports available nearby such as windsurfing, kite-surfing, wakeboarding, water-skiing, kayaking, diving, sailing, surfing, golf and tennis, amongst others.
Located in a tranquil residential area, right next to a four star resort, the property is only 5 minute drive from the animated town centre. Nearby, there are several restaurants just walking distance from the house that offer some of the best fish and seafood. You can also enjoy an afternoon coffee or evening drink at one of these beach bars whilst relaxing on one of Algarve´s largest and picturesque beaches.

The historic fishing town of Lagos offers so much to see and explore. It is the perfect place to unwind with its stunning sandy beaches but also a place to discover the rich Portuguese culture. With so much to offer, Lagos is one of the most desired towns on the Algarve´s western coast.
The historic centre of Lagos with its characteristic cobbled streets and its numerous restaurants serving a variety of local specialities including its infamous fish and seafood, are what attracts visitors from all over the world. A rich cultural history, great weather, award winning blue flag beaches, a lively marina and animated town centre, is what makes Lagos one of the most appealing touristic destinations.
We usually recommend hiring a car, only for facilitating in exploring the hidden treasures of the Algarve. But there are other means of travel. Just about 200 meters from the house there is a bus service which takes you to the Lagos Marina and town centre.

Wunderschönes Appartment mit atemberaubenden Ausblick!

Wir waren zu viert und unserem Cocker-Spaniel vor Ort. Das Auto konnten wir direkt auf dem eigenen Innenhof parken. Das Appartment hat uns direkt schon beim Betreten sehr überrascht, weil der Comfort und der traumhafte Ausblick auf den Fotos garnicht so rüber kommt. Die große Terrasse mit dem Pool und die vielen Möglichkeiten sich auch auf der Terrasse zu entspannen (Hängematte, Sonnenliegen, bequeme Sitzecken und der Gartentisch mit Stühenl) sind perfekt, um auch mal lange Weile zu genießen. Die gesamte Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll mit Liebe eingerichtet und hat alles was man für den Aufenthalt braucht (inkl. Weber-Gasgrill). Die Lage ist in direkter Strandnähe und auch die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig. Es gibt einige Restaurants am Strand und in der Umgebung. Zudem kann man innerhalb von 30 -50min mit dem Auto die schönsten Strände der Algarve und der Westküste anvisieren. Alles im allen eine sehr wundervolle Wohnung in der man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Wir haben schon jetzt wieder Sehnsucht und wir kommen definitiv wieder. Vielen Dank Carolina & Joao: Beginnend mit der Kommunikation vor der Anreise und über die gesamte Dauer des Aufenthaltes hat alles sehr gut klappte. Ihr seid tolle Gastgeber!

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, komfortabel, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Besonders schön ist die große Terrasse mit zwei Sitzecken, Grill und natürlich dem eigenem Pool. Es sind die vielen kleinen Details, die diese Ferienwohnung so besonders macht. Den schönen langen Sandstrand Meia Praia erreicht man zu Fuß in 5 Minuten, alles andere ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir noch den sehr guten und netten Kontakt zu Carolina. Schon im Vorfeld erhielt man von ihr alle benötigten Informationen, Check In und Check Out funktionierte eigenständig und unkompliziert. Vor Ort ist sie jeder Zeit ansprechbar und antwortet sofort. Vielen Dank für alles an Carolina, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen gern wieder.

Fantastic property

This property is one of the best apartment’s we have ever stayed in, so clean,excellent equipped kitchen, very spacious, lovely comfortable beds, bathrooms lovely, sitting outside on the beautiful terrace enjoying the scenery, absolutely idyllic, location is fantastic only a short walk to some great restaurant beach bar’s, beautiful beach, and to top it all off ,you could not ask for a better host Carolina is a lovely friendly person and helped us out when we arrived early, nothing was too much and made you feel very welcome and any information you need is only to willing to help.Would highly recommend this property and will definitely go back in the future.

Amazing Beach House!!

The Meia Praia Beach house was amazing!! Don’t think twice about staying anywhere else. Carolina was absolutely fantastic answering all of our questions and check-in and check-out was a breeze. The house (downstairs apartment) was extremely clean and well kept. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax at after a day of site seeing. The bedrooms are large and extremely comfortable. The house is set up perfectly for two couples with plenty of privacy. The pictures don’t do the view justice. The pool and outside area was a real treat! The house is in the perfect location to spend the day at the beach or hop in the car and see the sites. We will definitely be returning to Meia Praia in the future! Thanks Carolina!!

Quiet Retreat with amazing views

From the time we booked with Carolina, we knew just from her prompt responses to even the littlest questions to her detailed instructions on how to drive from Faro that we had chosen well! The property is exactly as described and the views are too. Everything is accessible including beach, groceries and restaurants. We loved our time at Meia Praia. You really can’t go wrong choosing this property.

Carolina's place is a great spot to stay in Làgos....close to the beach and the Marina strip. 2 Bedrooms with ensuites makes for comfortable living for 2 couples or a family.

Lovely place in a lovely location.

Really enjoyed our stay ,Great communication from Carolina prior to us arriving , with directions etc sent which was really useful. Met by Carolina and John , a nice welcome and full of local knowledge very very helpful. The apartment is at the top of a short hill with a lovely view of Meia Praia , which was no more than a few mins walk away, Lagos was a nice flat walk about a 30 min walk and your at the marina, Lagos centre is just a walk across from the marina and has a day & evening market along the waterfront and a step across the road into the lagos centre is still a hive of a relaxed activity late into the night . The Apartment was ideal for the 2 of us and would have been comfortable with 4. Its very well equipped, comfortable & maintained, the Patio/ garden was also great with the sun on it almost all day and of course a well kept decent size pool, also a clothes airier attached to the wall around the corner with a bbq there also. We had slight reservations about there being an apartment above us, it was occupied for the whole time we was there, but was absolutely fine and we went about our sun worshipping uninterrupted when we was not on the beach. We hired a car for our stay which was helpful as the supermarkets were a little bit across town and for travelling exploring, but by the looks of it public transport buses and trains where very near by, we had a secure drive which was shared with the apartment above and was room for 2 cars side by side. If into a bit of holiday fitness , plenty of tracks and of course the beach for an early morning run before the sun starts to control the day. The big question would we go back , and the answer is yes , looking at dates for next year, we was after a relaxing holiday and this apartment and location gave us exactly what we was after. It was a perfect summerhouse. Close to a wonderful beach and walking distance to Lagos city.

Fabulous villa, responsive owner and great location

This villa is lovely and well equipped for a very relaxing stay. The location is excellent with good food very nearby and the supermarket is less than 5 minutes away by car. The beach is fabulous with lots of activities and Lagos town is a must see - has a very interesting history . We spent many chill out days on the patio by the pool, but we had amazing trips to the zoo , boat trips to see the grotto and the dolphins. A big thank you to Carolina who is very quick to respond to any queries and very kind and helpful . We had an amazing holiday .

Perfect for us!

AMAZING WEEK IN THE ALGARVE

FIRSTLY, AS A TRAVEL AGENT I TOOK MONTHS OF RESEARCH TO FINALLY DECIDE ON LAGOS AS OUR HOME BASE AS WELL AS THIS PROPERTY. You cannot go wrong with Lagos as your home base. Its a beautiful town, safe with a wonderful pedestrian area with little cafes, restaurants and shops. You could wonder forever. We rented a car from LUZ car rentals and went to Sagres, Silves, Albufeira and Alvor and while these places were great to see, we were so happy with Lagos as our choice. We also spent a day driving around Lagos to the various cliff side beaches. I travelled with my husband and son who is almost 6. This apartment is amazing! We loved it and were very happy with it. Carolina is lovely and had a little basket of goodies waiting for us. She has a handy book with all the details or where to eat, where to go and how to use the various appliances which was helpful. The grounds were spotless and the apartment was clean. It was very nice to have two bedrooms on the opposite side of the main living, dining area. The apartment is located at the very top of a steep hill which was great to help me feel I was burning off the calories of all the wine I drank. We also felt very safe which is extremely important. Great choice and I would stay there again. To take a taxi into town the cost was always around 7 Euros, there and about. Its definitely worth it to rent a car because you should go out and explore. The view is beautiful, the beach was gorgeous and the pool was clean and still warm even thou we were there the end of October.

Terrific Apartment in Lagos

Carolina was an amazing hostess. She met us there to give us keys and a small tour. She was warm and a great communicator before, during and after. Her place is very clean and comfortable with glass sliding doors that we had open a lot as the kids went in and out to the pool. The pool is small but enough for the kids jump in and play. There are lounger chairs to sun/hang out in and a nice table outside to play cards/dominoes or eat. The 2 bedrooms/baths are on separate sides of the apartment which is good for sound. Her kitchen is well stocked with dishes, dishwasher, oven, washer (no dryer) and large (for Europe) fridge. She could use a few more regular water/soda glasses.... plenty of wine glasses which might be a hint to drink more local wine. :) I would say that you need a car to stay here. Carolina has a gated driveway which can have 2 cars to share (but a little tight). The closest supermarket needs a car and to get the restaurants/shopping in Lagos. The beach is a 5 minute walk.... but it is an amazing large beach that goes for many miles. There are 2 beach clubs on the beach that rent out lounger chairs for 5 euro each or 2 for 10 euro with an umbrella. And you can buy snacks / food / drinks if you walk up to them. You won't go wrong staying here!

Awesome!

Made a fall trip to Portugal. Stayed in Lisbon and took train for our stay in Lagos. Carolina was at the villa to greet us. We only half listened as we were so awed by the beautiful view, the climate and the villa. Truly, it is a comfortable, open and modern villa with huge windows and sliding glass doors in living room and both bedrooms. Everything was clean and well stocked. Location is wonderful. It is on slight incline; the walk to beach area is just minutes. There is a wonderful restaurant on same street as well as several nearby and on the beach. We had the bottom unit with the exclusive use of pool. For a dip in the fall, it was a bit too cold : ) We highly recommend this villa - private in a very good area, fantastic view, quiet, close to beach and very clean and comfortable. Thank you Carolina for your generosity, the welcome basket and your kindness. If we are able to return, we would definitely try to stay in your apartment again!

everthing was perfect.

Spent one week in this property. Owners were kind enough to get us settled even though we had a late night arrival. It was beautiful waking up to a view of meia praia beach every morning. The rental was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It is located on a very quiet cul de sac. Beach is right across the street and several restaurants/cafes are on the beach as well.

Our family is Portuguese, however, we have lived abroad for many years. We've been coming to Meia Praia, Lagos for years as it was family tradition to gather up in the summer. We decided to design and build our house on family property which was completed in 2009.

Our family for generations have gone to Meia Praia. We love the versatility of the Algarve and we try to come to Lagos as much as possible. We have been coming to Meia Praia for more than 30 years as there is so much to offer. Great beaches, great restaurants and an animated night life in Lagos town center is what makes us not go anywhere else on vacation.

Location and ocean views are key. The house is in a quiet residential area, yet close to town, but most importantly it is walking distance to Meia Praia beach. So fantastic view from the house. There are great beach restaurants along the beach, so if not up to driving to Lagos you can just walk for fresh seafood. It is perfect for who wants a relaxing, yet, diversified holiday.
