You will you enjoy the breathtaking views of the waterfront Animas River and San Juan Mountains from our executive living room and oversized deck. You will also enjoy our large fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms with granite and wood flooring throughout.
Enter through the lovely courtyard and keep your car in the heated garage, free from the elements. Elevator access from garage to the courtyard.

A great place

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We come to Durango several times a year to visit family and this is the first place I can say that we would really like to come back to again.

Perfect Accomodations; Beautiful Location

Our condo at the Animas River Haven was perfect. Super clean, safe, and spacious, the condo made it easy to remote work, have coffee on the balcony every morning with views and sounds of the Animas River, cook in the kitchen with all everything you needed, great showers and storage for everything. We loved being able to ride our bikes or walk for groceries, coffee, town, Fort Lewis College and restaurants. Neighbors were great, always felt safe. Shonny was also amazing, always able to reach and ask anything. We loved it very much - hard to leave. Would love to come back next year!

Beautiful Condo on the River

This condo feels so much bigger than it is. The living space is very open and the floor to ceiling windows give you an amazing view. The condo was spotless and very well appointed. I absolutely loved the location! You are right on the river and river trail. I walked all over Durango and did not find a more central location that could compare. You can walk almost anywhere. The owner and neighbors are super friendly and helpful. If you are looking to stay in a place that makes you feel like Durango is your home, you have found it.

Durango Getaway

Very nice condo with all the furnishings for long stay. Great kitchen with everything you need. The patio view overlooking the Animas River is great. Steps away from the river trail. Great location!

Outstanding'

Even nicer than in the pictures. Quiet and spacious. Well equipped. Easy access to town. Condo also has immediate access to South Animas River Trail. Convenient, secure parking in building.

Breathing Room

Wide open space in here! Minimally furnished yet comfortable, this condo’s biggest attraction is a west-facing wall of glass & generous patio. Yes, it’s great to hear the Animas River roaring below. But afternoon sun gets pretty intense in summer, making it a daily necessity to roll down the blinds. Rivergate Is a safe-feeling complex for anyone staying solo. Surrounding residents are friendly and appear to enjoy living here. Shonny,, the unit’s owner, was easy to reach, always helpful, and seemingly liked by everyone I ran into.

Enjoyable Stay

555 Rivergate Lane Unit B3-165 is a Five Star accommodation in every respect: well equipped, its location to town, convenient to restaurants & entertainment, plus an enjoyable balcony over looking the Animas River. Our landlady, Shonny Vanlandingham , was quick to accommodate if anything was needed. We found her to be a friendly, lovely person. Joan & Bob Drake

August on the Animas

We spent last month in this lovely condo right on the Animas River. The unit was great, just the right size for the two of us, and our occasional guests. Cooked many meals in the fully equipped kitchen and on the gas grill out on the deck. Really enjoyed the location for walking and biking on the river trail. Shonny has done a nice job making her place very welcoming. Really enjoyed it.

Great condo for a couple and enjoyed having couple with us for short stays.

Loved the location. Closer to downtown than we anticipated but nice to explore great restaurants that were 2 miles away and more local . Loved the large granite island in the kitchen. Great to bike ride from condo to some amazing rides. We will be back!

Good experience in Durango

Shonny answered the emails I sent promptly. She was very easy to work with. The condo was exactly like the pictures on HomeAway. The condo was clean and well stocked when we arrived. We had a couple of little issues during our stay and Shonny take care of them within a day. I was very impressed by her quick response. When our stay ended, she returned our deposit within a few days. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Being so close to the Animas River trail was a great benefit. The location of the condo is about a 5 minute drive from downtown Durango. The one thing that could be improved is the lighting. The inside is very dark at night. The condo could use a few more lamps to make it brighter. I would stay here again.

Durango Rivergate Condo

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It is very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We walked along the river almost every day, river trail is perfect for biking or walking. We could hear and see the Animas River from the condo and enjoyed watching the hundreds of rafters drifting by. It is actually just 5 minutes from the downtown area, very convenient. This unit is very quiet, everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed walking to Natures Oasis to pick up groceries or have coffee. It has the best kitchen - we cooked many meals there, used the gas grill and enjoyed the large patio. We hated to leave and would love to return again next year.

Nice Condo close to Fort Lewis College

Very clean, nicely decorated, like new condominium. The kitchen was fully equiped and I actually cooked two of the nights that we were there. We did use the gas grill that was out on the deck & grilled some delicious steaks. We stayed for Fort Lewis Family weekend and the unit is very close to the college. We took several walks out on walking trail (it was beautiful along the river) & even walked to a BBQ restaurant one night for dinner. Kudo's to the owner-her triathlon trophies were most impressive! I'd love to stay there again if we come back next year!

Loved the condo

We loved the condo, very spacious, nicely decorated and lots of room. Master bath is huge and nice! Master bed is a bit uncomfortable--it sits on a plank with no box springs - but we got used to it. Views from the deck are beautiful! You can fish right out your back door or bike or hike on the nice paved trail. We plan to visit again next May for fly fishing on the San Juan with Les Vance at Duranglers--never caught so many fish in all my years fishing the San Juan.

Excellent Vacation Rental Property.

My daughter, grandson and myself stay here during our vacation to Durango to visit family. The condo was perfect in every way - location, comfort, and amenities. I would definitely stay here again when I come to visit family. I don't usually take the time to write a review but I felt the owner deserve a good review for a great vacation rental property.

Spacious and Comfortable with Amazing Views!

We truly enjoyed staying here! This spacious, like new condo was so comfortable we had a hard time leaving it each day to get out and enjoy the sights and activities around the Durango area. The location on the river made it a comfortable place to enjoy the mountain and river views of Durango. An unexpected bonus, was listening to the sound of the river from the comfort of the deck and living room each morning and night. What a great way to start and end each day. The kitchen was great for preparing meals and gathering around to enjoy our time together. The walkway was so close we could not wait to get out for morning strolls along the river. Lastly, I wish I had your housekeeper because this place was so clean I felt like I was the first person to use it.

Nice Stay!

The condo was quite comfortable for our stay. The view of the Aramis River was wonderful. We grilled out on the patio and ate our dinner listening to the river sounds and watched the rafters cruise by. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Excellent

This is a beautiful condo with awesome views overlooking the Animas River. It is very spacious, clean, and has a warm welcoming feel. I was impressed with all the triathlon and bicycling trophies that were displayed around the condo. The kitchen was spacious with beautiful granite countertops, perfect for hosting a graduation dinner for my family. I was very happy with this stay.
