Your golf and beach vacation will be paradise in this newly renovated two bedroom/two bath fairway condo! Note: 2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY REQUIRED

The condo is comfortably decorated throughout and offers amenities for comfort and entertainment value. Enjoy the open floor plan which flows from the kitchen and dining area to the living area complimented by a cathedral peak ceiling and two sets of sliding glass doors that lead to a wide wrap-around deck. The deck has chairs & tables to take in the coastal breeze and observe the natural surroundings. Sink into comfortable living room furniture after a day of golf or beach activity and enjoy the 43" large screen Roku TV (Netflix/Hulu - guests must use own streaming accounts), DVD player and overhead ceiling fan while relaxing. The condo has central heating & air conditioning for year-round comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped, and an adjacent dining area has a table with seating for four with additional seating at the raised kitchen bar for four. The kitchen has been completely renovated with new cabinetry, granite counters/dining bar with 4 bar stools & all new appliances. Each bedroom has two double beds with new soft bedding, (TV in master bedroom - streaming only) and adjoining full baths. The front bedroom also features a private screened porch accessible only from this bedroom. The master bedroom has a door to access the back deck as well as a walk-through closet which adjoins the bath. A laundry room located by the front entry hall has a full-sized washer/dryer for guest use. The community has an outdoor pool, charcoal grills and picnic area, tennis courts with basketball goal for outdoor guest activities. The community is directly located on Oyster Bay Golf Links along the 2nd hole and is a short drive to Sunset Beach which is a scenic barrier island beach with high dunes and soft white sand. Sunset Beach offers soft white sand and is a wide beach with a wildlife sanctuary on the west end of the island. This condo serves as the perfect spot for a fabulous golf or beach vacation! The condo is smoke-free and includes complimentary linens, towels and departure cleaning service.

The condo is nice, well kept. We thought we were renting from owner but it is a property managed by rental company. Was made to sign another agreement with them or they wouldn’t release door code. This isn’t a true VRBO. It lists pool as an amenity, but you have to drive a few miles away to pick it up & drive it back at check out. It should be at condo. It was fairly quiet except for condo below, the dog barked non stop when its people left.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful sunset beach condo. Great panoramic views of the golf course, and a short drive from the beach! The kitchen was great for family meals and we enjoyed the cozy living room. The place was sparkling clean as well!

Very nice!

Friends and I had a weekend to relax. We rented this condo and it was perfect! It is comfortable and clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and it was quiet at night. We are excited to return.

Nice condo

We did like the condo. And we would stay here again. The cleaning could have been a bit better. Trash can wasn’t emptied in the bathroom. The showers had stuff left in it. So not sure if it had been cleaned? And several left behind items under the beds.

Great place!

Just as pictured! We loved the extra space this condo provided and the peace and quiet at this location. The kids enjoyed searching for and watching the alligator from the balcony.

Nice property…some things could be corrected.

Check in time changed a few days from the original time by an hour longer. We were running behind so that wasn’t such a huge deal. Also found out to get the key to the pool from the rental agency which is a few miles past the condo. Fine but again wasn’t specified until a few days prior. And after driving 6 hours, we didn’t want to make another stop. However they did leave the key in the lockbox since it was after hours when we arrived. The condo was nice with a beautiful view of the golf greens and a pond. The rental agency did try to resolve some other issues we had. It’s a short drive to the beach and I felt safe in the neighborhood. But my main gripe is to be aware they changed the check in/check out times without much notice (check out time was an hour earlier than expected and not told until the night before). It is a lovely place but I would not rent again from this company.

Would not recommend

I was trying to avoid leaving a negative review but have made three attempts to contact the owner since Friday with no reply. The positives- The unit was nice, looked like the posting and the grounds were very nice. Close to everything, quiet. Ample parking. There is a small pool (although we didn’t use it). The neutrals- Not a whole lot of extras we’ve come to expect with other VRBO units we’ve rented. There is a kitchen but no ice maker or ice tray, there were no garbage bags to replace in the trash can, there is a washer/dryer but no detergent. Basically if you want to use the amenities, you have to meet them halfway. Not a huge minus but surprising as we’ve had other VRBO rentals with a lot more little extras. Also it’s on the 3rd floor, so if you don’t like walking, keep this in mind. It wasn’t an issue for us, but just something to keep in mind. The negatives- Cockroaches. We arrived to two dead ones on the floor and over the course of the following day killed about 3 additional ones and saw another one we weren’t able to kill. It was unnerving. We didn’t even attempt to use the kitchen or bring in food for that reason. I had reached out to the owner the evening that we checked in and even sent pictures but got no response whatsoever which is super disappointing. The deck is pretty but covered in spider webs, that really should have been cleaned up before renting it out. In addition, we were surprised by the 5:00pm check in time listed in our emailed check in procedures which we received just before the day of the trip— the VRBO site had check in listed for 4:00pm. By the time we settled in and changed, the day was basically done. I already thought 4:00pm was pushing it and were going to roll with it but 5:00pm is very late and the owner should update the VRBO listing to reflect that. Ironically, the check in procedures that were emailed to us cited COVID and additional cleaning protocols as the reason for the later check in time, but since, again, we found dead cockroaches on the floor as we came in it doesn’t seem like that was the actual reason. And, on the morning of checkout, the cleaning person arrived at 9:15 when check out was listed at 10:00am (which again, in my opinion is a little too early as it is.) She was perfectly nice and waited outside the door but we were rushed, and we hurried out so she wasn’t waiting too long, since again, she was standing outside of the door waiting.

Nice weekend getaway!

Looks just like the listing! Nice large bedrooms and comfy beds! The living space was nice and spacious and comfortable. The porch was spacious as well and looked over the little pond and part of the golf course. We were able to see the resident alligator in the pond as well, which our young son loved!! The condo was in a great area also - we were able to visit friends in Ocean Isle since it is so close! Only cons were that there were ants all over the outdoor chairs so we couldn't sit on the porch (not sure if someone before us spilled something on the chairs but the ants were on almost all of them). The sink in the bathroom still had remnants of some colored liquid and under the couch needed a good sweeping (dead bugs, crumbs, game pieces). Not big enough problems for us not to come back/recommend the place! Overall, we had a great stay!

The perfect spot

We had a great trip to Sunset beach and the Sea Trail condo was a perfect little home away from home. It was clean, well decorated and stocked, and was just the right sized space for our family. In addition to the interior suiting us well, we also enjoyed the view of the pond and especially the alligator and turtle we saw in it! The community pool was an appreciated extra. Also, it certainly wasn't on the beach, but the drive was barely minutes away and very easily accessible. We really enjoyed this spot and would love to stay there again sometime! Last thing to note: we did contact the management company for a few things and they were very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. Kuddos!

This condo was amazing. It looks WAY better in real life. It is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Its definitely great for a small family gathering. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed this listing so much ! The neighborhood and town is very comforting and friendly. I will definitely recommend for a nice relaxing getaway.

Comfortable and convenient

No water first night

Overall we did enjoy our stay. But the first night we arrived after being on the beach the whole day and then driving for 2 hours we arrived at 11pm to the place without water. The only thing I was looking towards was shower and bed as well our four kids. I had to look around walk around property call and honk where does the water turn on. Well we had to sleep dirty. Also we found a dirty balling left right on top of coffee table with a smashed big in it. We didn’t touch it the whole weekend and just put something to cover that scene. Then in the morning I had to get up very early to look again for where does the water turn on. I walked around the property asking people for help. Finally the gentleman resident came and pulled out a ground cover which was very hard even for him and turned it on for us. I would have never found it. Finally I found out they forgot to turn it on for us. So make sure you talk to he management about water and where it is to turn on just in case. The other whole day was lovely and comfortable.
