This waterfront house is great for families, corporations and executives looking for a nice place to stay while vacationing, visiting family or working in the Hampton Roads area. It is also a great place for families as well looking for a furnished house to stay for a long term visit or for temporary work assignments. We are just minutes from the Norfolk Navy Base, ODU, Langley AFB, HU, Downtown Norfolk and many places in the Hampton Roads area. We are close to attractions such as Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, Museums, etc. A great solution for short term stay in a nice house with all of the amenities needed instead of a hotel or small apartment. Come and spend your vacation in this spacious home.

House was quite well kept. All was clean and ready for our visit. There is no view to speak of, but that did not stop us from enjoying the large deck! Everything went well and entire family was able to enjoy a long weekend visiting family in the area.

Great stay!

We really reccomend chosing this house for your stay. Neighborhood is nice, very close to the beach and restaurants, 7eleven, and supermarkets. The owner were extremely helpful all the time. Thank you very much!

Spacious and meticulously clean with easy access to the beach. The house is on the water but the interstate bridge is only about 30 yards from the pier which takes away from the vibe.

Great time

Evan thought the weather did not work out. the was plenty of room at the large table to play games and great seating of movies. The dock and little beach were great when it was nice out. Hosts were excellent

Perfect for a fishing trip

We went kayaking, caught some fish off the dock, and had a great time. There was plenty of room for all the kids to sleep in a real bed.

Overall the house was ok. Location was so close to 64 that sitting on the pier was not as relaxing as we had hoped. The house desperately needs an update, we didn’t take advantage of using th VCR player however it had everything we needed. The beds were ok but the pillows were awful and that made for a rough nights sleep. Bring your own pillows! Highlights were the kayaks on property and the close proximity to va beach and downtown Norfolk.

Get away

The house was perfect! It had everything we needed and then some. It was spacious and very clean. It has a beautiful deck/balcony off of the upstairs bedrooms that were so nice in the morning. The owners are so nice and very prompt in responding to you. We had an electrical issue, but they responded quickly and got it fixed. The place has lots of outdoor equipment available for use, bicycles, kayaks, etc. The pier and the water are nice, however, Highway 64 is right in your backyard. It didn’t bother us though, just surprised us. It is well worth the price! We would stay here again without hesitation!

Excellent property in strategic location to Norfolk and Yorktown

We had an awesome stay at this very comfortable home on the bay. Gathering in the spacious family room overlooking the bay was a favorite. Having the convenience of both a nicely stocked kitchen and multiple spacious bedrooms was exactly what our family needed. The hosts provided tons of conveniences with kayaks, bikes, grills, and indoor or outdoors games. Check in was very easy with no hiccups.

The perfect waterfront vacation home for families!!

If you're looking for a vacation home on the water and in the Willoughby Bay area this is the perfect home!! The home is exactly as advertised. Everyone had their own space and the house was clean and met all of our expectations. The house came with everything you would need. The host is extremely prompt with all communication. Highly recommend this property.

Nice house

We enjoyed our stay and the house. Our only complaint, if you could even call it that, was the neighborhood. It was much more residential than we realized. There wasn't really anywhere to go within walking distance, everything had to be driven to. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

We just loved our stay. Everything went great. The house was beautiful. More than what we could ask for. The owners were very helpful and kind. A pleasure to communicate with. The kids enjoyed fishing and air hockey. The air hockey was perfect for those rainy days. Kept us all busy. WONDERFUL!!! Mark & Kathy

Great Stay on Little Bay!

We had a great experience at the Little Bay property. With 7 mostly adults in our group, there was plenty of space for sleeping, hanging out in the living room, and sharing a meal around the large table. For those of us that cook while traveling, Bonnie has a nice assortment of pots and pans for doing so. There is also recreational equipment (bikes, kayaks, etc.) for use; my boys enjoyed the air hockey table. The location is great with regard to being central to all the places we wanted to visit: Naval Base, the Wisconsin battleship, Colonial Williamsburg. The house is right off the highway making access to traveling very easy. However, I-64 is right beyond the pier behind the home making it a tad noisy. Bonnie is a great host and is very responsive to messages. I would definitely recommend this home if you're traveling to Norfolk!

The house was great! Enough space for all of us to feel comfortable.

Only 2 issues i can think of. The traffic on the bridge was a little annoying. But of course that does not reflex on the house. The upstairs bath room shower/tubs did not have any safety handles nor slip resistance tiles. My father who is 83 felt unsure using them. Other than that one item we loved the house!!

Plenty of Space

The house is comfortable and well maintained. Clean. Kitchen very well stocked with gadgets and what one needs to feed a crowd. Beds were okay. There were lots of amusements to benefit from in the place itself as described. Good TVs. You will not be bored there. For me the pretty picture of the water and the dock was misleading. Just beyond the dock is the highway. The water is more of a working harbor less of a quiet lake or inlet. Norfolk isn’t Virginia Beach. AC is floored at 70, which is too warm for us to sleep well. One other reviewer noted the highway- others didn’t. Another noted the neighborhood being “shady” - it kind of is. We had a nice time there- let me be clear. The yard was family friendly and nice. While there is a beach nearby we personally wouldn’t opt for it. VA Beach is about 45-min away and that’s where we went. How happy you are there will depend on why you want to be there, what your budget is, etc. Overall we had a nice time

Family staycation

Needed a local place to stay while our home was on the market and the grandkids visited. This home was absolutely perfect! Bonnie made sure we were comfortable from check-in being smooth, to the house having everything you could possibly need. She even checked on us while we were there to make sure all was well. I highly recommend this home as a top pick!

Excellent place to stay

We had a excellent experience, staying at this home in Willoughby spirit. Let me start by saying the neighborhood coming in. Looks a little shady, but it’s very quiet and the home was remarkable. Very clean inside and out and the home had everything that it promised. Very clean bedrooms, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Outdoors had a great view of the bay and a very nice long pier. The fire pit was also, very nice on the cool night. Communication with the owner was great and they were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone. If we are back in this area again, we will definitely look to stay.

Norfolk Retreat

We had a very good stay; Hosts were gracious and most welcoming. We had one issue arise and Steve was right on it, resolving it immediately. Everything was perfect with only one unusual requirement. We stayed only three nights but were required to provide our own paper products and laundry detergent. Otherwise it was all great.

Baileys stay

We loved the property. Had an amazing time fishing and the kids loved there was so many rooms and a air hockey table when weather wasn’t good enough to go do something. Was very easy communicating with the owners. Would love to stay there again when come back down there . House was beautiful and easy to locate. Had absolutely no issues the whole time we was there and no complaints.

Great place to stay for families!
