With an eye for style and a respect for tradition, we’ve created a romantic mountain retreat for you at the foot of the Dachstein, to introduce you to the beauty of alpine life in the mountains and to let you be embraced by nature while surrounded by your loved ones.

In addition to the chalets’ idyllic location—at the foot of the Dachstein at 1,600 m above sea level, surrounded by rolling alpine meadows—we have deliberately focused on using local materials such as reclaimed wood and natural stone in the interiors. The two exclusive mountain chalets can accommodate 2–8 people. In the chalets on the mountain, you’ll experience our rural tradition combined with local materials and modern elements. A cozy living area with warm colors, soft loden, and an eye for detail come together here to create a unique sense of well-being. Find peace and let your thoughts wander freely—the tranquility of our mountain chalets makes this possible. Let yourself be enchanted by beautiful sunrises and sunsets in absolute tranquility on the large terrace, surrounded by magnificent natural scenery.

Enjoy the seclusion and immerse yourself in the deep-snow winter landscape on a ski tour, snowshoeing, or winter hiking above the 18-kilometer-long Ramsau am Dachstein high plateau. In summer, our guests enjoy our direct access to the extensive network of trails, which is ideal for hiking or mountain biking. Numerous via ferrata routes of varying difficulty levels are also within an hour’s walk from the cabin. It’s only a 15-minute walk to the valley station of the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car. As a Winter and Summer Card partner, we offer our guests numerous included services, and the Brandhof Chalets am Berg are the ideal starting point for a wide range of recreational activities.

Cozy Cabin—Exclusive mountain chalet for 2–4 people, 100 m² of living space
Spacious layout featuring 1 living room with a tiled stove, 1 double bed and 1 single bed, cozy living area with a sofa bed, kitchen-dining area with a fully equipped kitchen (wood-burning stove, microwave, electric stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes), dining table, sitting area, 1 bathroom (shower, bathtub, sink, hair dryer, makeup mirror), separate toilet, entryway with coat rack and access to the terrace, TV and radio, Wi-Fi.

On-site costs: Included services: Summer and Winter Card, free Wi-Fi, crib and high chair upon request, ski storage, boot dryer, table tennis, free Skidoo transfer in winter from Brandhof to the Kuschelhütte on arrival and departure days.
