In this modern loft apartment with ocean views, a rooftop terrace, a sauna, and a wood-burning stove, you can relax and enjoy yourself to the fullest. The absolutely peaceful natural beach is right outside the door.

With its unique loft charm and panoramic windows, the Westscheune vacation apartment on Mühlendamm offers the perfect setting to feel at home and linger. On dry days, the rooftop terrace invites you to spend relaxing hours enjoying the ocean view, and on cloudy days, you can enjoy the unobstructed ocean view (all the way to Denmark) from the entire living area.

A private sauna, exposed ceiling beams, a wood-burning stove, beautiful hardwood floors, and the unique and tasteful furnishings round out the experience. We provide our guests with a complimentary starter set of firewood for the stove, which will be ready upon arrival. This way, you can enjoy cozy evenings with a crackling fire, warm light, and that authentic Förde vibe right from the start—perfect after a walk on the beach or a long day in the fresh sea air.

The open-concept kitchen-living area is fully equipped and invites you to enjoy meals together in the vacation rental (or right on the rooftop terrace). In the kitchen, you’ll find a classic drip coffee maker (size 4 filter bags)—perfect for a cozy start to the day. In addition, there is a dishwasher, an oven, a stove with a ceramic cooktop (and range hood), as well as a kettle and a large refrigerator with separate freezer compartments.

Microwave upon request: If you need a microwave during your stay, one is available at Mühlendamm. This can be provided upon request. Since it is shared among several vacation apartments, availability is subject to supply.

The two bedrooms feature comfortable box-spring beds to ensure a restful night’s sleep (one double bed 180 x 200 cm with a continuous mattress, two single beds 90 x 200 cm). The bedrooms are equipped with insect screens during the summer months.
The choice is yours: We offer you the option to bring your own linens to help keep your vacation costs down. Alternatively, we’re happy to provide our linen package (bed linens and towels) as an optional service—whichever best suits your travel plans.

The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower and heated floors for your relaxation. You’ll also find the washing machine here.

Dear dog lovers
Up to three dogs are welcome to stay with us. Accommodation and cleaning fees are charged separately. A small welcome gift is provided to help you start your vacation on a relaxing note.

The digital guest app features numerous tips for beaches, walks, and hikes with your dog, as well as restaurants and attractions where dogs are welcome. There’s also no shortage of opportunities for plenty of stick-tossing around the Mühlendamm.

The Mühlendamm is a place of peace and relaxation. We want to preserve this special atmosphere for all guests. Therefore, we ask for mutual consideration. Dogs should not disturb other guests by barking continuously or repeatedly. They should also react appropriately to walkers, other dogs, and passersby on the public beach path.

Mühlendamm is particularly suitable for dogs that feel comfortable in a quiet environment with other guests, dogs, and occasional activity on the beach path. This way, both dog owners and those seeking peace and quiet can enjoy a relaxing time here.
