About the Community of The Bungalows at Seagrove
The Bungalows at Seagrove is a quaint neighborhood tucked away in the heart of Seagrove Beach, one of Scenic Highway 30A’s original beach towns. This single-family home community offers one and two bedroom, Old Florida styled homes complete with porches and balconies, lap-board siding, metal roofing, large exterior shutters and of course palm trees. Enjoy access to two community pools, separate children’s pool and hot tub, and lake views, all just steps from the Gulf of Mexico and beautiful scenic highway 30A. Bikes are always welcome in Seagrove Beach, where 17-miles of path along Highway 30A make for a better way to travel, especially when dozens of locally owned restaurants, shops and markets are nearby. Amenities such as golf, tennis, biking, boating, water sports & more are available locally at additional costs.

Beautiful Retreat!

We were looking for a place to be able to relax for the weeks as a family. Although the area itself is very busy, the bungalow was a quiet oasis and just what we needed. The property was perfect for our family. Our kids absolutely loved seeing all of the frogs from the pond in front of the bungalow. Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Peaceful Getaway!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Wonderful Stay

Me, my husband, and two adult daughters were able to stay here very comfortably. The walk to the beach is a nice easy stroll. It is a bit of a stretch to get to the bungalow which is in the back corner. Not bad when it’s sunny and warm but it was cold and pouring rain when we arrived and it was inconvenient trying to get in with luggage and groceries. Still a beautiful little place to stay for vacation. Loved our visit to Santa Rosa.

Overall great little bungalow.

Our stay was great. We liked the location and the bungalow had a nice little pond in front of it which my 14 year old loved. House sleeps six but the pull out couch counts as 2 spots. I have four kids and they argued over who had to sleep on the fold out. The other beds were great! It might be better to list that it sleeps 5 not 6.

Lovely

Loved having 2 bedrooms with a bathroom and half bath downstairs. We would have liked to have a few more cups and silverware - spoons were oddly very small. Overall, quite lovely. I sprained my knee just before the trip and had a hard time with the distance from parking lot to bungalow and navigating the stairs.

What a great spot!

Everything was as advertised. We arrived in the dark and had a problem finding the bungalow. Fortunately, someone came out of their unit and asked her where the unit was. She had an arial view of the property and directed us in the right direction. It would be a good idea to have a map available. The TV is very funky! Luckily, we have Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Peacock. However, we had to login with our accounts to be able to view TV. It would be great if there was access to local TV for weather and news. The dishes and silverware could use an update. People complained about the pots and pans but there was a great selection. The East bedroom`s East window could use some room darkening curtains. We would certainly stay there again.

We love these bungalows

This property is run by a property management company. The bungalows are a short walk to the beach. There is no heated pool in the winter, but there is a hot tub. My one issue with this unit is the carpet on the stairs and upstairs really needs replacing. It's dirty and fraying. By the upstairs bathroom on the right, it's really frayed and there is a part of the floor that is sharp. Also, I wanted to vacuum, but the vacuum's motor was fried and had a burnt smell, so I didn't use it. We love this location and enjoy the restaurants nearby. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is about 40 minutes away, and there are a lot of activities there. Our kids enjoyed an afternoon at Dave and Buster's. The Donut Hole has yummy treats and serves cake slices as big as your head. Of course, the beach is the best part -- the most beautiful beaches in the continental U.S.

Great Family Getaway

We loved the Bungalow. It was a quiet location, but easy walk to several restaurants. We had family staying at a local State Camp Ground. It was nice to have the space in the Bungalow to have family meals. The kitchen was well stocked with new appliances and had everything we absolutely needed. We would have liked to have a pizza pan and pizza cutter, but a quick trip to the local Tom Thumb for tin foil and a knife worked! Our 7 and 10 year olds loved the pool. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. It was wonderful to have a quiet place to retreat away from the sand of the beach. The public beach was with in walking distance. We also enjoy the walk along 30A to the food trucks (our favorite was the brisket nachos from Barefoot BBQ), The Perfect Pig (the bacon Bloody Mary was fantastic), and the Beachy Bean Cafe (the iced matcha latte with coconut milk was delicious)! Our only advice is to bring blankets. We did not, as the pictures showed them, but since COVID they do not do comforters. When we as for them they did bring us blankets by the end of the business day!

Things could have been better.

We arrived early so we needed a new code for the door which we were given over the phone, on entering we noticed the air con was running but not very cold. We unpacked, the air con was still running but the temp. just kept going up (87 degrees) ,which meant another phone call. An engineer came out very quickly, can't fault the service but it took him 2 hours to sort out. We had problems with the door lock we would go out and the code we had been using would not let us back in, another phone call and a new code, this happened 2 more times. The septic tank overflowed which they sorted very quickly still not very nice. There was a lack of out side chairs, only one to be exact so we had to use the beach chairs, good job there was just the two of us. The used the bbq once before the gas ran out very poor and trying to get more was not easy. The beach items very ok but we found it a little awkward carrying them to the beach a 4 wheeled trolly would have been handy. Apart from all that the area was great the beach was fantastic lovely white sand and the sea was nice and warm what more could you ask for. If you like to fish the pond on your door step is full of fish and turtles, we fed them most days, we also fed the squirrels which were jumping about in the trees most of the time. Apart from the few issues we had at the start of our holiday we had a great time and the only reason we have given it 3 stars and not more is because of the BBQ the outside seating, they could do with an update. We never stayed. The pool was under renovation and not usable. We moved to another rental from My Vacation Haven.

best way to relax

My husband and I loved staying here!! We went down for our honeymoon and we were blown away at how peaceful the property was. We were right on the pond and at night time you had your own personal sound machine. The frogs/crickets were unreal! We can’t wait to book again!

My suggestions would be to add some baking sheets, baking pans, and a couple non stick pans in the unit- would have liked to make breakfast for my family. Could have used more blankets for the beds, specifically the pull out sofa. Also consider adding a couple more beach chairs to the beach bin on the porch- the 2 were great, 4 would have been ideal! The location was super easy to find and a close walk to the public beach access. Overall it was a great stay, thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!

Great Place

This was a great location. It is about 1.5 miles from Duckies and Seaside. We rode our bikes and were there within 5mins. The beach is also about a 8 min walk. The house was very clean and plenty of room for our family. The house was a little hard to find. We arrived at dark. When you pull into the entrance drive all the way to the back. You will have to carry your bags a pretty good distance. You will see a wooden walk way. Follow it all the way to the back right side. The house is the last one in the back on the right.

Enjoyed the stay despite disappointments

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This bungalow was in a nice community, folk gathered around the pool and chatted. However the bungalow had problems from the day we arrived. The microwave did not work, the refrigerator leaked water inside so we had to empty it, drawers in the bedroom did not work and the upholstered furniture was not in great shape, especially one chair that had a foot long gaping seam. The tvs were difficult to work without instructions and a map to find the bungalow would have helped. Management responded , brought us a counter microwave and a small refrigerator, we made that work. We expected a better standard for the price we paid. The kitchen appliances were being replaced when we left but that was no help to us.

Very enjoyable, great experience.

Very nice. Could use a few nicer stemware items, but that's definitely understandable . Also the community hot tub wasn't working a couple of days. But would definitely recommend it.
