Enjoy this large 4BR/2BA, beautiful home on three private acres backing up to the Coonamessett River and a privately owned cranberry bog. Beds sleep eight plus the queen sized sleeper sofa. We (Owners) live in AZ and don't get to the Cape as much as we used to now that we have two children in school in AZ. We have other rentals on the Cape, including another cottage nestled on this 3-acre parcel (also available on VRBO), and many in AZ, and have now added this to the list so others can enjoy this amazing property. The large kitchen has more than everything you need, and is gorgeous, with stone counters, a big island with a vegetable sink, and a glass backsplash. There are two large living spaces (living rooms upstairs and downstairs) provide ample space for reading, playing games, or dancing! There is a separate dining room (in addition to the breakfast bar). There are two bedrooms on the main floor and two bedrooms downstairs. Enjoy your morning coffee in the lovely sun room or on the back deck. The kitchen is very nice with gas cooking, stainless steel appliances, quartz counters, a breakfast bar, and lots of dishes. This house is large and very comfortable. The master bedroom (main floor) has a queen bed (and 46' flat screen), the second bedroom (main floor) has two extra long twins, one downstairs bedroom has a queen, and the second downstairs bedroom has two twins. The downstairs sofa is a queen pullout, and we also have two queen air mattresses. 46' flatscreen also located in downstairs living area. We installed central HVAC a few years ago when the entire interior was remodeled! You are a short drive to Silver Beach, and to Falmouth Heights and Surf Drive beaches. Main Street, just a short drive away, has plenty of wonderful restaurants and shopping, and a wonderful library with fun activities for kids. Woods Hole and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard is also a short drive from here. You will love this house!!! THANKS.

We were double booked

We were about to get in the car and drive to the Cape on Saturday morning when we got a call from the owner that the place is double booked and she is issuing us a refund. Our cars were packed at that moment and we were ready to drive. You can imagine how upset we were. After hours of talking to VRBO, we still have no resolution to it, we were promised that someone will call us back and help with the situation and help us rebook, no one called us, and there was nothing available for that week at the last moment. We received an email instructing us to book a hotel and that VRBO will pay for two nights of it. I had a house booked not a hotel, we are a family with two kids and one is a toddler, and in the times of COVID I had no desire to stay at a hotel. Also, the house shows that it has a crib, it does not, it has a pack and play which is not the same. I have a two year old who cannot sleep in a pack and play, he is too big for it, but he still sleeps in a crib. VRBO is telling us double booking is a fault of the owner as they had the house for rent on multiple websites, the owner is telling us it is the fault of VRBO website. So we were not told the truth of what happened. We were able to reserve a house through airb&b on Sunday night and we were still able to enjoy a few days of vacation, our kids were looking to it after a long year of COVID restrictions. I only hope that VRBO will reimburse us for some of it as it started in a horrible way.

The house is very spacious and comfortable.

We all enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed; a spacious kitchen, a large dining room, and comfortable beds. The outdoor space was also nice for playing games on the lawn.

Family Time

We had a wonderful week in Falmouth with our family. The house was perfect for us with plenty of room. Liked the large kitchen and privacy. Homeowner was very responsive when we had questions.

Cranberry Bog Retreat

Such a lovely home in a tranquil setting. It is set off the main road and near a beautiful cranberry bog. Quiet small river runs behind the house that you can see from the deck. The house is well appointed and spacious, bright and airy. Close to nature, we heard coyotes yipping one night. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home in secluded Cranberry bog

BJ and Eric have wonderfully updated this expansive cape cod home. Gorgeous kitchen, expansive living room space, comfy dining room, large deck, 4 bedrooms with updated very comfortable beds, central AC, and plenty of peace and quiet! Immaculately clean when we arrived. We had lots of space for our family of 8 and lots of fun playing games in the yard. Never heard a peep from any neighbors, and felt safely tucked away from busy roads and unwanted noise. Lots of bike rides, long walks, and relaxation. Was a great opportunity to get our adult kids and significant others all together!

Everything we needed

Loved the house as it had everything we needed. My elderly mom joined us and needed a first floor bedroom and bathroom along with central air. The deck was huge, the location was quiet and close to everything. The house is spacious and there is plenty of room to spread out when needed. We borrowed the two adult bikes and took them on the bike trail. The house had everything we needed - bike locks and air pump, dishes and utensils for every need, towels, and my son said he slept on the most comfortable sheets he has ever slept on.

Fantastic house and week!!

Great cape house in Falmouth on a very quiet street, but conveniently located and an easy drive to all attractions. The house itself is was perfect for us with two couples and two kids, and having central air was a nice bonus. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed and we enjoyed the back deck which overlooked the river. We had a perfect week and would definitely come back again on our next cape trip.

Great place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in a beautiful, yet convenient location in Falmouth. The house is comfortable, roomy, and well-appointed; the owners are generous and thoughtful in what they supply. We are a group that has stayed in many places over the last 15 years, and 17 Cranberry Lane is unanimously our #1. We plan to return next summer.

I purchased this property in 2004 - because there is no other property like it. The appraiser had to go out 25 miles to comp it, as there was no other 3 acre parcel with three houses on the River to comp it with. I had my daughter in 2009 and my son in 2012 and have found that we don't get to the Cape as much as we used to. I am an attorney and real estate Broker in Tucson AZ. We have about 40 or so rentals in AZ but this house had been mostly used for our personal use over the years. We love to feed the ducks, who are always at our property (even in winter!) and sit and watch the river. With that said, it's only a couple of miles to Main Street and all the wonderful food and shopping it offers, and to any beach.
