Enjoy the historic atmosphere of the Sonnenland housing development—a designated historic site—in the Potsdam-West district, located on the street of the same name. It’s the ideal starting point for excursions to the New Palace in Sanssouci Park, the center of the royal city of Potsdam, Berlin, or even the “City of Flowers,” Werder. A 7-minute walk takes you to the public transportation stop, where you can take a ride to the historic city center or transfer to Berlin, access shopping areas, and get direct access to the Havel lakes. The lakes invite you to take long walks or bike rides along the waterfront. A quiet garden restaurant is located right nearby.
