Entire Home Rental Property: 4 Bed, 3.5 Bath, 10 Person Occupancy
Strategically placed on the edge of tall woods this home takes advantage of it's beautiful surroundings by featuring floor to ceiling windows so our guests can enjoy nature from both the outside and the inside. Often you will see deer, wild turkey, fox, and birds of all colors! The home features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, bright great room, full length deck with grill, large family room, pool table, and games for the little ones. Gather around the cozy fireplace or outdoor fire pit with family and friends.

Guest access
You will have access to the Galena Territory Owners' Club and all it's amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, game room, fitness center, gym, tennis and basketball courts, and more.

The area
Galena IL has hundreds of unique gift and clothing shops, antique stores, art galleries and artist studios. It boasts a rich performing arts community, live music, gourmet delights, as well as a multitude of museums, wineries, historical sites and tours. There are opportunities to enjoy the outdoors golfing, skiing, playing tennis, boating, fishing, zip-lining, hiking, horseback riding, hot-air ballooning and much more.

Family getaway

We had a great time at this house! Plenty of cooking and eating space in the kitchen and the kids really enjoyed the play area. Located so close to the pool and golf course and just a short drive into downtown Galena and over to Iowa.

Great Stay

We had a great stay in Galena! The house is very well equipped. We made many meals at the house and had everything we needed. Communication was good leading up to the stay. Very comfortable home for our family!

An absolute oasis

We had to families with 4 kids at this property and it was absolutely magical. It was a beautiful home with ample space and after the kids went to bed the adults sat on the deck and watched the starts!!

We had the most amazing weekend with our kids and grandkids. The home was perfect for us and the scenery and serenity are amazing! We loved the surround sound system and gathering areas. We made lots of memories at this beautiful home.

Great getaway

This is a perfect cabin for a larger group, great accommodations, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very secluded feel, but still close enough to everything!

Great Girls Getaway

We had a great time in Galena and enjoyed our stay at Boulder Creek. The open concept first floor was great for hanging out and eating meals. The basement entertainment area was perfect for hanging out, watching TV and playing games.

A cozy hidden gem!

I stayed here with a group of 6 for a weekend. The space is cozy the second you open the door! The layout is simple, spacious and very accommodating. Bonuses were ample parking for multiple cars (we had 4 cars with our group), towels and extra toiletries were provided in every bathroom, every bedroom was spacious with bathrobes in the closets. Will definitely stay here again!

Secluded oasis

Gorgeous location with great ammenities. Even though there wasn't any internet, the selection of VHS taps and DVDs (especially Disney) allowed our little ones the space to wind down after a fun day on the slopes or sledding hill. We were blessed with some sunshine and the deck was lovely to enjoy! We hope to return soon!

Our family had a wonderful time!

This is a very nice property and fulfilled our family needs wonderfully. Our children are in their 20s and so having space to spread out was really nice. Using the kitchen and the grill and cooking some of our own meals helped financially and logistically. Ginger does an excellent job to help coordinate our stay. We would definitely rent again.

Couldn’t have been more blessed…

Kristen & Ginger who were in charge of the VRBO were absolutely the BEST to deal with. They made the trip effortless, they would respond same day if I had questions, they were informative, detailed & very kind. We literally couldn’t have had a better experience! The cabin was very clean & they had everything available in the cabin for us to make sure it was tidy.

As a result you will find a chic melodic tone flowing through our home! Though our schedules still keep us on the go we are working hard to free up as much time as possible to enjoy our vacation home. When we can’t do that, we invite others to enjoy it in our place and feed our wildlife friends.

We love the outdoors, hiking, and nature of all variety. Galena and its surrounding area provide a treasure of nature preserves and hiking trails. Pioneering is never disappointing! We are always discovering new areas and bountiful unspoiled lands to explore. The business exec among us is happiest when on the golf course and when we found an area that provided both, in generous measure, we knew we found our paradise. Our interest in genealogy and local history is fed by Galena’s many historic sites, and you’ll find a montage of our ancestors gracing a wall upstairs.

Every vantage point whether on the inside or the outside of our home, offers a panorama of tall woods that change with every season. We could not have chosen a better spot to relax, savor our limited free time, commune with nature and appreciate the wildlife that we love so much.
