The family-run hotel and apartment complex is located in the middle of the densely wooded Kurhessische Bergland. Nestled in the beautiful and diverse natural surroundings of an open-cast lignite mine that was decommissioned and recultivated at the end of the 1960s, you will find us in the Silbersee holiday village.
The approx. 8.2 hectare Silbersee natural bathing lake is located 240 metres above sea level on the northern edge of the Knüllgebirge mountains and can be easily reached in about three minutes from our facility. The water of the Silbersee is regularly monitored and fulfils the EU quality requirements for bathing water. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to relax away from stress and noise, Frielendorf is the right place for you. The hilly foothills of the Knüllgebirge mountains are ideal for long walks. Enjoy the high air quality and the mild, stimulating climate in our state-recognised climatic health resort. A well-developed network of cycle paths invites you to enjoy numerous tours in our region. For example, you can cycle to Schwalmstadt or Homberg/Efze on more leisurely tours. Or you can conquer the Knüllköpfchen, 633 metres above sea level, and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view. The Silbersee adventure world offers numerous leisure activities. For example, take a rapid descent on the Silberseebob or enjoy the special atmosphere in the wellness paradise and relax in the bath or sauna. You also have free admission to our children's play paradise Frieloland every day (depending on opening times).
The holiday flat has been completely renovated and has a combined living/bedroom with a double bed and another separate bedroom. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and has a cooker, fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher. The bathroom, which has also been renovated, is equipped with a shower, washbasin, WC and hairdryer. In the living room/bedroom there is a seating area and an LCD TV. The holiday flat is integrated into a hotel. The terrace and other hotel facilities can also be used (some for a fee).
