This exclusive holiday home is a former farmhouse located in the municipality of Centuripe. It is located in Contrada Minnè, a quiet district. The property is located on a hill with an exceptional panoramic view, immersed in the peaceful countryside of the province of Enna, with the imposing Mount Etna in the background. The typical Sicilian country house has been recently renovated, combining an authentic, rural atmosphere with elegant, refined furnishings. The beautiful façade recalls the splendour of the noble families that once owned the property. The recent renovation of the villa was carried out with the utmost care and the house was equipped with modern, high-quality furniture and furnishings. This creates the exclusive, refined and historical character of the property, ideal for travellers seeking peace and tranquillity without sacrificing comfort. Inside, the previous room layout has been carefully transformed into comfortable guest areas and rooms. The spacious kitchen has been moved to the former stables and is equipped with modern and exclusive furniture and appliances. The elegant dining room, located next to the kitchen, awaits you with beautifully decorated ceilings and antique furniture. There is also a cosy and bright living room with an antique fireplace and a comfortable reading room. The house can accommodate up to twelve people. There are five double rooms with 160 x 200 cm beds and two sofa beds in the living area. They are all tastefully furnished and equipped with air conditioning/heating. Four bathrooms with showers and a bathroom suitable for disabled persons complete the comfortable holiday home. Air conditioning is available in all rooms, the kitchen and the living room. Free Internet access is available.
At the back of the house, surrounded by a well-kept garden with typical Mediterranean plants, you will find a lovely swimming pool decorated with mosaics and a lava stone paved area with sun loungers and an outdoor shower. The view is simply marvellous and stretches from Mount Etna to the beautiful town of Centuripe, on the slopes of a mountain, to the green valleys and hills of the surrounding area.
There are also two large terraces where the noble residents once received their guests. Here you can enjoy your meals al fresco or simply admire the breathtaking scenery spread out before you while sipping a glass of delicious wine. There is also a barbecue area.
Covered parking is also available. The building is located on a farm that has been producing organic products for years. Please note that the property is not fenced off and is located in the middle of the countryside, so it is advisable to bring your own if you are travelling with dogs.
In Centuripe, about 5 km away, you will find supermarkets, banks and shops. The nearest hospital is in Paterno, 18 km away. The nearest airport is Catania, about 40 km away, which can be reached by car via the SS 121 highway.
