This detached chalet is located at the entrance to Selva di Val Gardena, a top holiday destination in the South Tyrolean Dolomites, in a quiet location on a private side street with very little traffic and surrounded by well-tended meadows. There is no traffic, as it is a private road, making it ideal for families with children.

The owners live in a separate flat on the ground floor and are available to answer any questions you may have during your holiday.

Surroundings and day trips: The house is surrounded by well-tended meadows. The forest is about 100 metres away. The small river is about 50 metres away. It has views of various mountains. There is a restaurant/pizzeria 300 metres from the house. The bus stop is 300 metres from the house. For sports enthusiasts: There are countless hiking trails to rustic huts, which start directly from the house. A ski trail to the valley station of the "Saslong" World Cup course, one kilometre away, and access to the famous Sellaronda with 500 ski slopes. Not far away is the cross-country skiing centre (2 km) Monte Pana to the Alpe di Siusi and Vallunga and the via ferrata, where you can go snowshoeing, tobogganing and ski touring. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with sauna and wellness centre (6 km) nearby. There is also an indoor climbing centre, ice skating rink, tennis, bowling, billiards, horse riding, boccia and table tennis (in the house). For those interested in culture: there are concerts, traditional processions, folkloristic festivals and numerous events. In Selva di Val Gardena (1.5 km) there are shops, restaurants, apres ski and the ruins of Selva di Val Gardena in Vallunga. You can also visit Santa Cristina (1.5 km), Fischburg, the sundial on Monte Pana, the planet trail and the Tervela waterfall or the Christmas market. In Ortisei (6 km), with its picturesque town centre and inviting pedestrian zone, there is a folklore museum, the Unika Gallery, the Art 52 arts and crafts exhibition and you can take a round trip to the Dolomite passes. In Bressanone/Brixen (35 km) there is the Aquarena water park, the Imperial Palace with the Diocesan and Nativity Museum, the Pharmacy Museum, the cathedral and the cloister with late Gothic frescoes. In Bolzano (43 km) you can visit the Dominican Church built around 1270, the Ötzi Museum, the Archaeological Museum, Runkelstein Castle with frescoes from the 14th and 15th centuries, the Talfer Promenade, the Messner Mountain Museum, the Thuniversum and the fruit market. A little further afield you will find the warm bathing lakes of Montiggler See (60 km) and Kalterer See (71 km) as well as Merano (74 km) with the gardens of Trauttmannsdorf Castle, the Touriseum (Museum of Tourism); Rametz Castle with wine tastings, the castle cellar tour and the museum, as well as the Merano Thermal Baths and the spa promenade. From the flat you can also reach the following destinations: Lake Garda (140 km), Innsbruck/Austria (115 km): worth seeing here are the Alpine Zoo (the highest zoo in Europe), the Cathedral of St. Jakob, the Grassmayr bell foundry, Ambras Castle, the Golden Roof, the Berg Isel ski jump, the shopping centres and the casino.
