Petite 450 square foot one bedroom beautifully updated cottage with a lovely screened porch overlooking Broad Cove. Perfect retreat as a romantic getaway for a couple. Sit on the screened porch and enjoy the boats coming in and out of the cove, eat your meals, swim in the warm water in front of the house, enjoy the private beach a few houses away or just relax in the lounge chairs enjoying the view. Wash the sand from your toes at the outside shower. The cottage has new kitchen cabinets, stove, refrigerator & flooring, is well appointed, offers a brand new bathroom with stall shower. Flat screen TV, cable and Wi-Fi. The living room and bedroom have Berber carpeting, lovely new sofa couch and recliner/rocking chair. The bedroom has a full size bed and offers a large closet for storage.
The cottage is kept very comfortable with the wonderful breezes or with our quiet Mitsubishi Mr. Slim heat/air conditioner unit. Beautiful shade trees enhance this lovely cottage and allow you to enjoy either the sun or shade, as you wish. This cottage is located just out side the village, you can stroll the waters edge enjoying a lovely walk into our beautiful, quaint, and classic, seaside village, offering many fabulous eating venues, pier and main beaches, stores for shopping. A memory in the making. At the end of our cove there is a working cranberry bog as well as many other wonderful sights to see. Our village has a full calendar of events to choose from as well as many great restaurants, ice cream shops and spectacular views overlooking the entrance to the Cape Cod Canal. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride thru the Cape Cod Canal from the main village pier. Onset provides an atmosphere that is a little less hurried and calm. Sea, Stay, Play.

Very lovely cottage

We had a nice stay in this little cottage. The host is very lovely and the area is tranquil. There was easy access to the beaches in the area.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable for our one week stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and very welcoming to us. We truly felt at home for a week. Cottage location (within sight of Broad Cove) is on a quiet street and made Onset very accessible. We are repeat visitors and recommend this cottage for 2 very highly. We hope to return soon. Thanks.

Our wonderful time at Onset

The cottage was beautiful and it had all we needed for the 3 weeks it was rented. What we liked most is the location and how clean it was. The owner was a delight to deal with. We strongly recommend a vacation there.

Our stay at the charming one bedroom cottage was perfect. We have stayed in Onset before so the area was familiar to us. The cottage was comfortable, clean, very well equipped and convenient. Simply Perfect!

The cottage was exactly what was pictured and just perfect for the 2 of us. Its in a beautiful location - quiet neighborhood - great getaway from it all and yet close to everything. The cottage had everything that you need and Janis is the best hostess!

Lovely location

Very well cared for and nicely decorated little cottage in a near perfect location - walking distance to the quaint town and beaches and yet set away from the center so that it is very peaceful and quiet. Owner provides lots of helpful tips and guidelines for getting the most out of your visit and she leaves a very nice welcome bag with assorted treats!

Perfect location to explore Cape Cod area

My husband I loved our stay at Janis’s property! This location is short 30-40 min drive to many fun places in Cape Cod area, and Onset is lovely as well. Short walk to town and beach from the cottage. Perfect size for two and our favorite part of the cottage was the screened in porch.Janis was a fabulous hostess! She inquired what we were interested in doing and exploring during our stay, and shared so much information that made our stay easy to plan and very enjoyable! She also gave us a wonderful welcome gift bag. We would stay at any of her properties again!

A great little Onset cottage

The cottage location was ideal: just across the street from the edge of Broad Cove in Onset. Janis, the owner, was very welcoming, gracious and helpful. The cottage was very comfortable for two adults with a small but well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our week in Onset tremendously and would love to come back again to this same cottage.

Perfect Waterside Stay for Two

This comfortable little cottage is perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a laid back waterside experience. Clean and cozy, with all the essentials for a home away from home. Steps from the beach, with peaceful views, in a charming and quiet neighborhood, a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Onset. Janis is the perfect host, providing info, suggestions, and goodies to ensure guests are comfortable. Buzzards Bay is an excellent location from which to explore the Cape!

Anniversary Week

We loved everything about this stay. The location was perfect. Beautiful views and a walk across the street to the water!!! The property is pristine! From the grounds to the cottage itself everything was immaculate. So clean and the decorative touches made it feel like home. Janis thinks of everything and truly made our stay everything we could have asked for. Janis also provided a gift bag which was so thoughtful. We will be going back again next year!!!!

Lovely stay in Onset!

We had a wonderful experience at this quiet petit cottage at Onset Beach, ideal for couples. The cottage was well maintained, clean, and featured fresh linens, pillows, and towels and everything you need in the kitchen. We enjoyed spacious outdoor seating with a great view of the cove. Janis, our gracious host, was readily available and responsive by phone, sharing her knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and music. Thoughtful touches like ice upon arrival and a "welcome bag" filled with local flavors made our stay even more special. The air conditioning was quiet and comfortable. We will definitely come again!

Cutest cottage ever!

Janice was incredibly welcoming and the lovely gift bag that was unexpected and very much appreciated. The cottage was incredibly clean and tidy and adorable. Just steps from the water, a few more steps to a beach and every day was a walk along the coast after dinner with a couple walks to a restaurant during the week as well. I worked on my laptop the whole week on the porch and it was splendid. I was sad to leave. I will be booking it next year with my honey for sure.

Very Comfortable accomodation, walking distance to swimming. Janice was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The kitchen was well equipped, as I made most of my meals while there, and the refrigerator worked really well. Also, the tap water was the best I have ever had in the state of Massachusetts. People in the neighborhood were very friendly as they passed, while walking their dogs, and it was fun to see the icecream truck come and some neighbors with young children, who managed to stop the truck! I also had a bunny rabbit visitor from time to time that I noticed when sitting on the porch. Very relaxing week, and I intend to return next year! Thank you Janice! Keep up the good work!

Our Stay At The Cottage

The landlord Janis was very accommodating. The cottage is in a great location with a nice view of Broad Cove across the street. It was a very convenient location for kayaking and bicycle riding along the Cape Cod Canal and just a short walk to several great restaurants.

Cozy, comfortable, great location

Janice was a wonderful host. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Great for one person, a couple, or a small family. The location was great, a quite street but walking distance of all that OnsetVillage has to offer. A surprise bonus was a gift bag filled with local treats.

Onset Cove

Janice presented her cottage perfectly clean and appointed with just what was needed. Very pleasant and always concerned that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Steps to a quiet beach. I swam every day at high tide and discovered nature every day at low tide with my grandkids. Fit 2 adults and a preteen who spent a couple nights with us. Sunsets amazing! Quite neighbors. Good shower pressure. Be aware that this is a very small bathroom, grandson observed that a bodybuilder family friend would not be able to enter or use comfortably. Walkable to restaurants, post office, beaches. Food pricing reasonable. Owner does have larger property available, so inquire. Janice is wonderful!!

Wonderful and charming stay!

A wonderful experience. Janice was so kind and cleaned the property so well before we arrived. The town is nice and quiet, and the beaches nearby are nice! The best part is it’s right at the entrance to cape cod, so there isn’t much traffic in or out.

Cottage on Broad Cove

We had a wonderful vacation at this adorable little cottage which is perfect for two. Janis was a fabulous hostess who kindly answered all of our questions and provided great suggestions for our stay. When we arrived, the cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming. It is beautifully decorated and stocked with all of the essentials (bathroom and bedroom linens as well as basic kitchen appliances, dishes, and utensils). We had a beautiful (and rather unexpected) gift bag waiting for us on arrival which included a gorgeous canvas bag, bottle of wine, cranberry juice, Cape Cod potato chips, Goldfish, local milk chocolates, dark-chocolate covered cranberries, an embroidered dish towel, beach-themed napkins and paper plates, and a card with a welcome message from Janis. The location of the cottage was perfect for our needs being close to local boat ramps, beaches, and restaurants. All around, a perfect stay!

Relaxing vacation near the water

The cottage is in amazing condition just as advertised in a very quiet place within a short walk to the restaurants and shops of the Onset village center. The property is spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom and a new mattress. The screened porch overlooking the bay was priceless to have. Janis is a wonderful host caring for her guests and providing everything that one could need for a beach vacation. Special thanks for the gift bag!

Perfect adorable beach cottage!

Janis's cottage is the perfect 'tiny house'....I needed to get away, while I 'work from home', and this was the perfect place for it! Breakfast and dinner on the screen porch, with a gorgeous ocean breeze every night. I took walks on the beach, and sat on the small private beach just a few doors down...Janis is lovely, and I completely appreciated her welcome gift bag as well.

Delightful cottage in a quiet, idyllic spot.

My mother and brother (visiting from the UK) rented this charming cottage in a quiet spot in Onset. Still close enough to the restaurants, shops, main beach and Shell Point. Situated with a water view and close to a small beach just steps away, this is a very nice, quiet spot for relaxing. The cottage is absolutely spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a short stay. The screened in sunroom is shaded nicely so you can still sit outside on those very hot days. The heat and air conditioning unit worked very well and is easy to use. Janis, the owner is a lovely lady and does everything she can to make your stay just perfect, she even had a lovely welcome basket ready for their arrival, with gifts from the local area, coffee, napkins, taffy etc. A nice touch. We highly recommend this property for your Onset vacation and we will certainly rent from Janis again.

Perfect Get Jaway for two

The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. The bed was comfortable as was the entire cottage. We loved the porch for a cup of coffee in the morning or a game of cribbage in the evening. Sunsets were lovely over the cove. It was a very relaxing week which was just what we were looking for. Thank you Janis
