Holiday Home 'Gîte Vignes et Mines'

Discover Gîte Vignes et Mines, an authentic former miner’s house turned charming holiday home, located in Chalonnes-sur-Loire at the heart of the Corniche Angevine, between the Loire and Layon rivers, in a UNESCO World Heritage-listed setting.



Built in the early 20th century to house coal miners, this traditional home was lived in by several local families before being lovingly restored. Passionate about the Anjou heritage, we have carefully renovated it, preserving its character and adding vintage furniture and unique finds.



With 4 bedrooms, the gîte accommodates up to 8 guests—perfect for family getaways, trips with friends, or colleagues, close to Angers, Cholet, and Nantes. Enjoy outdoor meals with the plancha grill.



On request, we offer a table d’hôtes, giving you the chance to sample local cuisine featuring regional products and Anjou wines in a warm, authentic atmosphere. Air conditioning will be available in all 4 bedrooms starting spring 2027.



From mid-May to late September, you can enjoy the private pool at set times, located just opposite the gîte in a secluded garden with open views over the Layon valley.
