Beautiful Mountain Home With Amazing Views

You will love this mountain home overlooking a small lake with amazing mountain views. Its spacious feel is both rustic and modern and it has all the amenities you will need. Easy access from the highway and on paved roads.

We have enhanced our cleaning practices by using an outside linen service on top of typical cleaning. The cleaning company and linen service remove all sheets/towels/etc. from our home after each guest leaves. New linens are brought in and set up prior to your arrival.

Please note that this is a Pet Friendly home, so if you have any allergy concerns please contact the owner to discuss.

We DO have internet / wifi - Centurylink is the provider, and cell service is very strong so hotspots can also be used if additional bandwidth is needed.

On the main level there are 3 bedrooms: 1 with king bed, 2 with queen beds. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and 1 with a full bed and 4 twins (2 bunk beds). Also plenty of space for air mattresses and there is one sleeper sofa. There is also a pack-n-play in the closet.
Although we feel there is adequate space for our family and extended family, we currently allow a maximum of 10 people at the house. Please call the owner to discuss any questions on bed sizes, room layouts, etc. prior to booking.
Minutes from Devil's Thumb Ranch and Snow Mountain Ranch and a short drive to Winter Park Resort and Granby Ranch.
5-bedroom, 3-bath house is set up with a large, open kitchen and two separate living areas. The finished, walk-out basement has a second living room, bar area and pool table. Walk out to a beautiful stone patio with fire pit. Main living room upstairs walks out to a deck with amazing mountain views.
Trails for walking and snowshoeing are right out the back door and around the small lake that the house overlooks.

Murti-generation family 4th of July gathering

The cabin / house was as described . Plenty of room for older parents, 3 siblings and their children(2 of 3 adults). The home was large with outdoor decks for gathering and grilling and large comfortable areas for multiple small gatherings , games and catching up. Outdoor area offered everything within 45 minutes: golf, fishing , hiking and national parks. Wonderful hosts and prompt communication and answers when questions arose. We all loved it!

Spring Break Getaway

Beautiful home with plenty of rooms and space. Very clean and not far from Winter Park base. We had a wonderful time and will definitely book this house again next year!

Great for family stay

Fantastic location: close to Winter Park ski resort, YMCA and Devil's Thumb. Very comfortable and cozy for the family to stay. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds.

Perfect family getaway pond park basketball hoop

We loved our stay here in Tabernash. It was a perfect location if you want a little less business. You are close enough to everything. A Safeway 5 minutes away and restaurants. Most places we were going was within a hour or 2 drive. My boys loved fishing in the pond and the basketball court. The pool table was a huge hit as well! We want to bring the extended family back next time. So much room. Thanks!

Family vaca

Place was absolutely amazing… pond right off the back patio.. beautiful view.. enough beds for all my kids and grandkids and brother and his kids… friendly neighbors (we forgot butter at grocery store and had to borrow some) fire pit and snores in the evenings… would highly recommend to anyone ❤️

Great stay

Great stay overall, listing was true to its word. Downstairs guest bedroom bed was quite squeaky and the deck furniture was a bit dated, but we really enjoyed the space for our party of 8 + 2 goldies!

Location

The location of this property was great. The pond in the back and views were wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. The size of the house was perfect for our large family. We had some cleanliness issues but they offered to send the cleaning company over to fix the issue. In the end it was all ok. The house could use a deep cleaning but it all worked out.

One of our favorite VRBO’s - great for families!

Perfect location which is always tricky with young kids. It was close to the major towns we wanted to visit yet nestled in a small, quiet neighborhood. It has stunning views from the back porch. It’s on a fairly flat lot with safe and spacious spots for our kids to play and roam. We went on many walks with the stroller and there are nice paved neighborhood roads. There is also a great neighborhood playground, picnic area and beautiful little lake with a path all the way around. These were big bonuses for us with three young kids and a dog! The house was clean and cozy. The kitchen is well-stocked which is usually a compliant from me when traveling since we are a family of 7 and mostly cook all our meals and most VRBO’s don’t have enough cookware for large groups! The only thing that could have made this better is the outdoor areas. We wanted to eat all our meals outdoors but there were not enough chairs on the upper deck or downstairs patio. It is such a great backyard with a view but didn’t feel like we utilized it enough because there weren’t enough chairs and tables. The upstairs deck just had a small table and a few chairs. There was no table on the downstairs patio and only a few chairs. There’s a great fire pit and we cooked s’mores and hot dogs and such but had all the food spread out on the ground because there was no table. With some attention to the outdoors, the back of the house could be really amazing. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again!

Spacious home with a small pond for fishing

The property is located in a nice neighborhood and was very spacious for a large group of 10. We had a few cleanliness issues that were resolved when we contacted the owner. Peter was very responsive, concerned and ensured we were okay for the rest of the trip. Other than that, we had a great time and had fun at the property. Would definitely stay again!

Tabernash Wedding

Nice and clean. Had everything we needed to have a compfy stay. More that enough room for 7 adults to gather. Great location, close to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend the place and the host made it so simple and problem free from check in to check out.

This property was amazing, period! Views from all bedroom windows were phenomenal - unobstructed view directly to the snow covered mountains. In the mornings, you'd even catch a glimpse of a local fox who frequented often. The pictures on VRBO just don't do it justice - believe me - amazing views! House was super clean. Bedding was very comfortable from standard beds, bunk beds, and wait....even the pullout sleeper were perfect. Pullout sleeper sofa had a memory phone mattress! All guests were very please with the comfort of the beds. House had all the needed amenities: kitchen spices, pots/pans/slow cookers that you'd expect. Fireplace was great, and added to a beautiful winter scenery. Cut logs were available in the backyard. I recommend buying starter logs for those of us who need extra help. The property was big. Despite being there with a many people, it never felt like we were on top of each other. The house is very well laid out, and spacious. Location wise - this place is perfect. Winter Park is right down the road. Other resorts, the grocery store, movie theater, bowling alley - all 10-15 mins away at most. Communication with the host was great. Very prompt, professional, and understanding to requests. All-in-all, I highly recommend this place. It was just perfect - and in all honesty I will recommend this to all my friends.

What a weekend!

Beautifully appointed and meticulously clean and organized home. Very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful views in a quiet neighborhood. The owner is terrific, very attentive and responsive to needs and questions. Recommend this property without qualification. You will not be disappointed!

We live in Littleton, CO and purchased this home to be a weekend and vacation get-away for our extended family. This area was appealing for the space, the views and the proximity to multiple downhill and cross country ski resorts plus plenty of hiking and other outdoor activities.
