Very nice Bay Front home with great view of Dog Island. This property includes a hand-launch ramp for kayaksā€”trailers cannot be backed in for launching. This house now has new owners who have made all kinds of new updates from new deck and living room furniture to painting! Bay Watch is very well maintained with fully equipped Kitchen, linens, and nicely furnished. You will enjoy being within walking distance to downtown Carrabelle. Where you can enjoy fresh oysters and live music at Fathom's or play a game of pool at Harry's Bar. Close by is the city's public boat ramp, Marine Street Grill and LuLu's Cafe. The Carrabelle Junction is a great place for coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream! Baywatch is only minutes from the beautiful white sandy beach where you can relax and sunbathe, swim, paddleboard or watch dolphins play. If relaxing is on your agenda this is the perfect house, this home is on a quiet, secluded road that runs along the bay, watch the sunrise from the east and set in the west while relaxing on the porch with a cocktail in hand. This house is located on a protected estuary, where birds lay their eggs along the marsh. During the summer Franklin County is home to many nesting species as our diversity of habitat provides for species ranging from rails in the salt marsh to osprey and eagles in the highest trees, Carrabelle is also on the fall Monarch Butterfly Migration trail. The fishing here is great all year around, bring your catch home and cook it right on the grill provided for you.

Relaxing stay

We had a short trip in Carrabelle and this house worked out great! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The dock next door was great option for fishing. The views were beautiful!! We enjoyed walking into town. There were not sidewalks but itā€™s not a busy street so we didnā€™t have problems.

Rest/Relax with Amazing View

We come to the area each year at spring break, and this year was beyond my expectation. This home had plenty of room for me, my wife and our three teenage boys as well as our dog. We enjoyed the closeness to the boat landing as well as the view over the bay. The sunrise was amazing coming over the bay. We will definitely stay again. The home is just as described and the owner and his wife live right down the road and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed as well as gave us some great fishing advice. Very enjoyable stay!

Relaxing and beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay at Baywatch! The house is beautiful, the location is incredible! the beds were so comfortable! The views from the deck simply amazing! We saw many dolphins the first couple of days. So many shorebirds! The binoculars kindly provided by the owner, were put to use! We even saw a small alligator in the bay one day. The town of Carrabelle is just down the street, it is a quaint fishing village, and has great seafood restaurants. It makes me think of what Florida was like before it got overbuilt. so much beautiful scenery, and it was relaxing, laid back. We thoroughly enjoyed it, we will be back, for sure!

Beautiful bay home

This place was AMAZING! My husband is active duty military and this is the first vacation we have been able to take as a family in a while. The washer and dryer look brand new and was easy to use. We have a very rambunctious 2 year old and while we were staying he ripped the TV guide and I messaged the property people right away and got a response the next day to say to not worry about it. We saw so much wild life from jumping fish to pelicans and dolphins!!

Wonderful place to stay!

We would absolutely stay there again. Location is perfect. Conveniently located close to town but feels as if it is not. It is well appointed and all necessities are provided. A beautiful place to spend a vacation in!!

Update the confirmation letter please

The property has a wonderful view of the water. The house is very close to the water. It is natural green beach with very little sand. The internet info and PASSWORD on the confirmation letter and on the refrigerator was totally wrong. Finally we found it scritch scratched on the front of the info book. The lay of the house was nice with a great TV, deck and hard beds. The furniture, dishes and many knick knacks were all mismatched. The kitchen table chairs are ugly and out of place. The coffee pot was near death, a fire hazard and burned the coffee. The bathrooms were updated nicely. Our dog loved it too.

Quiet escape with beautiful view

The house was cozy. Secluded with a beautiful view of the bay. Furniture was outdated including beds, so it gave the house a musty smell. The house was very warm - per instructions could not the down AC so it was uncomfortable. Lastly, cable TV didnā€™t work but thankfully we were only there a couple of days. With some updating to the house, we would definitely stay here again for a family vacation.

Great view and apace

Beautiful location with view of the bay. Walking distance to the charming town of Carrabelle. Kayak launch at the house was perfect for morning paddles and fishing. The house needs a little attention. Ceiling fan remote batteries need to be replaced and the master bedroom could use a new mattress. It was very hard.

No place to fish at property; Lack of privacy!!

The house was clean. Too many light switches. No privacy due to another house around 20ft away. House could use a pier or dock due to mud flats and shallow water. I like to fish but its hard when the neighbors take over the only little spot to fish. House didn't have enough curtains or blinds to cover the windows. Neighbors stand on their balcony and stare straight through this house (had to put a towel over the window on the door facing the other house just to have some type of privacy). Overall liked the house but it could use some space and privacy from next door neighbors.
