The large garden, bordered by Frisian earthworks and beautifully fragrant Sylt roses, features a south-facing terrace sheltered from the wind with a cozy beach chair and garden furniture—the perfect spot for breakfast, relaxation, or a wonderful sunbath. You can enjoy the evening sun on the north/west side of the garden, where garden furniture is also available. A separate shed next to the house in the garden is available for you to use as storage for two bicycles.
There is also a separate parking space in front of the house.
The “Alte Friesenhof Süderende” dates back to the 18th century and has since been completely renovated, though much of the original character has been preserved.
Rooms and Amenities
Our cozy and historic Frisian house for two to four people, with approximately 83 m² of living space, offers you a wonderful, south-facing, wind-protected sun terrace with a beach chair and garden furniture.

Our vacation home, tastefully furnished in the Frisian style, features a spacious layout spread over two floors.

On the first floor, you’ll find an entryway with a built-in closet, a bathroom with natural light, a shower, and a toilet, a separate and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, oven with ceramic cooktop, etc.) and a large living room with a dining area facing south and access to the large garden with wonderfully fragrant Sylt roses.

On the upper floor, there is a bathroom with a tub and toilet, and two bedrooms: a large south-facing bedroom with a double bed, built-in closets, and a walk-in closet, as well as another bedroom with two twin beds and a closet.

The typical Frisian color scheme and carefully selected decor (blue, gray, white) accompany you throughout the entire house. The hardwood floors on the first floor add to the cozy atmosphere.

Location Description
Our vacation home in the southern part of Westerland is located in a quiet and idyllic setting, yet very central. The center of Westerland, with its numerous great shopping options and lovely bistros and cafés, is just a 10-minute walk away. The bus stop is about 30 meters from the house. You can reach the beach via many different beach access points. The nearby nature reserve, the Südwäldchen, the horse pastures, and the dikes offer wonderful opportunities for walks. The central location of our Frisian house is also a delight for cyclists.
