Welcome to our “Ferienwohnung Südstrand” – your cozy vacation home on Langeoog. This two-room apartment accommodates up to two people and is ideal for couples or friends looking to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Just a leisurely walk or a few minutes by bike, and you’ll be at the popular Höhenpromenade with its fine sandy beach and sweeping views of the North Sea!

Start your day off on a relaxed note with a vacation breakfast. In your mind, you’re already packing your beach bag or backpack for a stroll along the beach. In the open kitchenette, you can easily prepare small snacks for your outing or delicious meals. It’s equipped with, among other things, a 2-burner stove plus an air fryer, a microwave, and a refrigerator, as well as various small appliances (coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.).

On the west-facing terrace, you can enjoy the crisp North Sea air and a beautiful view of the greenery. It’s the perfect spot to read a good book in peace or to wind down the day in comfort. For a relaxing evening of grilling, there’s a charcoal grill area in the building’s south-facing communal garden.

The open-concept living and dining area features a large sofa, a modern 32-inch flat-screen TV, and a charming dining area with a lovely view of the surroundings. A cozy spot for moments together, shared meals, or watching TV and reading.

The separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180 x 200 cm) promises a restful night’s sleep. A spacious closet provides room for your vacation wardrobe. There is also a functional coat rack in the hallway.

After a day in the fresh North Sea air, you can unwind in peace in the well-maintained, naturally lit bathroom and enjoy a refreshing shower. It also features a sink, toilet, mirror, and heated towel rack, and offers plenty of storage space for your bath and toiletries.

A dreamy North Sea vacation in a central location close to the beach!

At “Haus Meedenweg 3,” you’ll stay in a beautiful, quiet setting—just a few minutes from the island village, where small boutiques, cozy cafés, and restaurants invite you to take a leisurely vacation stroll. In the morning, take a short walk to the nearby island bakery, pick up fresh breakfast rolls, and start your day relaxed in the crisp North Sea air. The house itself is a little island gem, whose apartments have been renovated and given a modern makeover. A comprehensive renovation is planned for the coming years.

On Langeoog, you can enjoy a wide, 14-kilometer-long white sandy beach with wonderful swimming opportunities. Just a 15-minute walk or a 4-minute bike ride away, and you’ll already be gazing at the play of the waves on the North Sea. With a gentle sea breeze and the cries of the seagulls, you’ll want to make time stand still.

The seawater adventure pool and the spa administration office are also located right next to the house. The train station, the golf course, and the equestrian center are also nearby.

Langeoog has many attractions in store for you, all easily accessible from Meedenweg 3. The water tower, the island’s landmark, is about a 10- to 15-minute walk away. If you climb to the top, a fantastic panoramic view of the island and the Wadden Sea awaits you.

You can enjoy another great view from the observation dune at Pirolatal. It’s located just outside the center but is easily accessible on foot or by bike and is well worth a visit to enjoy the panoramic view of the North Sea.

The Flinthörn in the southwest of the island (about a 10-minute bike ride away) features a viewing platform with a magnificent view of the dunes, salt marshes, and the mudflats—ideal for guided mudflat hikes or birdwatching.
