Bell Channel Club and Marina on Lucaya beach in Freeport is one of the Bahamas premier residential developments, offering Caribbean style with European flair. The oceanfront residential community consists of 82 luxurious suites and condominiums in eight buildings, with an adjoining marina.

Ralph Eickelbeck, President and the developer of the facility, says, 'Out of the 82 units here, all but 2 are sold. We have about 11 different nationalities of people living here, and the majority of our sales have been to the European market.'

The complex consists of a private beach with panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean, tennis court, basketball court, private swimming pool and a cabana bar for social get-togethers that's perfect for entertaining. Another key advantage over similar vacation destinations is this penthouse has a 30ft boat slip.

This penthouse is completely furnished and is equipped with central air conditioning, washer and dryer, garbage disposal, side by side refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, silverware, dishes and cooking utensils. Great communication with host. Condo was spotless and huge. Location is excellent. Walk on the beach, relax by the pool or sit on the balcony and watch the boats coming in through the canal. We cooked a lot of meals and also ate at the beach restaurant next door. Definitely hope to stay in this condo again!

Lovely apartment, fully equipped and very spacious. Lisa is easy to communicate with and efficient. We booked tennis lessons with Danny, used both the pool and the private beach. Possible to walk along to Taino Beach Resort and have lunch in their beach restaurant which is very nice and open to non resort guests. 10 minutes drive to Port Lucaya and Solomon’s grocery store. Easy, relaxing vacation.

Beautiful views, beach access, and lots of spacs

Lisa has everything one might need for a great vacation. She was responsive to all our needs and the place is bigger than you can imagine, so luxurious. I would return to her property on a future trip.

This property rates five stars in our opinion. The hosts Bruce and Lisa, and the property manager, Lakysha, were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, roomy, had great views. A one minute walk to a great beach. We'll be back!

Great Location

My wife and I rented this condo at Bell Channel for a month. We were very pleased with our choice. The condo had everything we needed for our lengthy stay. It’s conveniently located near the local grocery store and only steps to the beach. Lisa and Bruce were great hosts and responded quickly to the few questions we had. Would definitely recommend.

Bell Channel Bay and Marina -Fabulous Location

We were greeted by the owners’ property manager Lakeisha who was so very helpful in getting us to the condo complex, taking our family to the local grocery and liquor store, as well as, answering a number of questions regarding Freeport. The condo was beautiful and the view outstanding. Given the opportunity I would stay in this unit againagainofFreeport

Penthouse Apt. at Bell Channel Club

Our group of 6 persons had a great stay at the penthouse condo. Check-in was smooth and easy. The host was very accommodating with an early check-in time. The home was clean and well-decorated. Will definitely stay again.

The Perfect Vacation

From start to finish our time at the Penthouse Apartment on Bell Channel was perfect. The support from Lisa, Bruce and the Property Manager was superb. The home was clean, the beds were insanely comfortable, the bedding was so soft and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed and more. We will certainly be back and our kids talk about how this was one of their most favorite vacations to date!

The stay was Good

Pros: The Apartment has a great view and is very well stocked with any appliances, utensils, dishes, etc. Very spacious and good access to a beach and pool that felt almost private. A/C worked great and the property manager or helper Lakysha was very attentive and helped where she could.Cons: Purchase the insurance for starters. There was a Limestone/granite table that snapped in half and thankfuly none of our children were around to get hurt. It was very heavy and landed on our legs while playing cards. They ended up charging that to insurance. I wonder if i didnt have insurance would they have blamed us and charged us for it even though the table top and base were not even secured together or any wood uner the top to support it. I left a chair to the sideas well where the leg was broken already so no one would end up falling while sittinG. The power went out to the entire building 4 days in a row during our stay. Sometimes it was for an hour others lasted the entire night. Thankfully it was at night so it didnt get too hot. Lastly one wierd comment was made when we called the day after we left about an item we left and it was them telling us "You left the sheets dirty". My family and I pulled the sheets off the bed and left them in the laundry room. We paid their cleaning fee and washing sheets is not something i would ever expect to have to do or have ever had to do when using vrbo. It makes me wonder if the sheets we slept on were even washed before we used them.

We miss it Already

We stayed in Feb for a month. The condo looks exactly like the pictures. It was clean and mostly had everything we needed. The two guest bedrooms are small, the bathrooms need updating, the TVs are small, no grill at the condo but these are small concerns. The master upstairs was huge. All beds were comfortable. The manager was very prompt in responding to a few issues that came up. The condo has security at night and a maintenance staff that worked tirelessly. We were struck by the friendliness of everyone - neighbors, staff and most of the locals. The beach is the star! It is all you could hope for - beautiful shades of clear blue water, powdery sand, water sports available. There are places about 1.5 mile walk down the beach to eat and drink. The pool is small but was warmer than the large pool at the hotel next door. There is a boat that takes you to Port Lakaya, for shops and restaurants ($8@ RT). Car rentals were pricey, on arrival the condo manager offered to be our driver. She was amazing, full of Island history and info, available when we needed her trips to the airport and grocery and did an awesome trip to the west end to buy fish off the boats. She far exceeded our expectations, and her fee was very reasonable. (Sawyer's Grocery is just over a mile walk. There is a restaurant/bar at the hotel next door, but it has limited hours.) We readily recommend this, hope to return.

Great annual escape to the Bahamas

A Great Place!

Our family of 4 stayed for 8 days during Christmas/New Years week 2018. The condo is terrific: roomy, clean, well-furnished with VERY comfortable beds and other furniture.The kitchen is a cook's dream! Well-stocked with dishes and cookware and cooking tools to meet every need! There's also a stock of seasonings which is handy to not have to buy as you never need very much. All the appliances are modern and well-maintained.The balcony is spacious with a great view of the channel and ocean. An added bonus: when you stay over New Years, Port Lucaya marketplace puts on a great fireworks show at midnight, visible from the balcony! The heated pool and beautiful beach are great, though they are a bit of a hike from the place. We rented a car, and there was always sufficient parking out front within the gated community. Bruce and Lisa are great to work with - always very responsive to email - often within the hour. We highly recommend these accommodations.

Great location for Boating

This is our 4th year renting from Bruce and Lisa. We find the property perfect for our group of 7-9 adults. The 50’ slip is a huge bonus as we bring our own boat and fish daily. The property has a nice private beech, pool and grill. We will be back next year 😀 highly recommend

Vacation in Paradise

We have come to this amazing place several years now. Each time I open the condo door for the first time, I feel immediately relaxed. The view is amazing. My family loves to have breakfast on the deck and watch the morning boats go out of the channel. The condo is well furnished and easily sleeps 6. The beach is clean, quiet and private,. The pool is never full. You piratically feel like it's your own pool. We also use the tennis court. We are divers, and this is what drew us to the island in the first place. The dive shop we use is nearby. You can even take a ferry to it. We will continue to make a visit to this condo an annual event.

This is an Awesome place to stay when in Grand Bahamas.

There isn't a more convenient place to stay on Grand Bahama Island than right here. A Penthouse with a stunning view of the ocean looking west from the balcony. It is a spacious Condo with all of the amenities one would want when on vacation. The Beach is only a walk across the property as the Condo complex is on the beach. The pool is heated and never crowded. There is plenty of parking right at your front door, however, this place is just a five minute walk to the small ferry that takes you to the center of Port Lucaya so you don't have to use a car. We enjoy being able to walk about 150 yards down the beach to a lovely, quaint, open air restaurant when we dont feel like cooking. We really enjoy being at Bell Channel.

We loved it!

Great place! Very clean. The beach was beautiful. Definitely was a place to come and relax. The condo had everything we needed for our stay of 6 adults. The condo is very well maintained. I would recommend this place without any reservations.

Great property and location

The owner was great to deal with. The property is roomy, comfortable and nice. The boat dock was perfect. You can't get closer to the fishing grounds. The pool is a nice place to grill. The beach is nice too.

Property is in good shape

Beautiful condo, fully equipped, on the beach!

Everything was fabulous! The Condo is set up so that anyone staying, either short term or long term, is completely comfortable. Highly recommend the convenience of Bell Channel, with a perfect setting on the beach!
