In the center of peaceful Glen Ellen lies this two (or three-bedroom) retreat, perfect for your upcoming holiday. As you step inside the Mustard House, you'll be greeted by a cozy living room, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the local sights. Indulge in a soak in the private hot tub or take a refreshing dip in the sparkling pool, both of which are sure to delight. Stay connected with the free WiFi, and enjoy the convenience of the in-unit washer and dryer.

When hunger strikes, head to the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary appliances to whip up delicious meals. Savor your culinary creations at the dining table, or fire up the grill for an alfresco feast.

Just a 20-minute drive away, you'll find the charming Sonoma Plaza, where you can stroll through local shops, galleries, and tasting rooms. For a bit of excitement, the Graton Resort and Casino is just a 25-minute drive, offering gaming, dining, and entertainment. And for the golf enthusiasts, the Oakmont Golf Club is just a 13-minute drive away.

We truly enjoyed this property… We did have a bit of a problem with the pool but we reached out to the property manager and it was resolved in a timely matter. In addition to resolving the problem they offered to return our money for the pool heat…

Fantastic getaway, true home away from home

We had a wonderful stay. The property is magnificent, such beauty in setting, the landscaping, the vineyard, olive trees, roses, the artful decor in color, even the gate to the house! The 2 houses worked perfectly for our family and the pool and hot tub were ideal. We cooked in and ate out, explored the beauty of Glen Ellen and Sonoma County at the state parks and the vineyards.

Magical Getaway

We had the most wonderful stay at Le Jardin. Everything was perfect - the home and cottage are both well-equipped with everything you need. The property is full of magical moments from chimes in the trees to birdhouses and bee hives, and the landscaping is beautiful as well with irises, roses, lavender, poppies, and more. Sandy was so helpful with any questions we had, and we look forward to coming back soon. A beautiful stay in a beautiful space!

Great Experience in Wine Country

We had a great experience. The property is amazing and makes you feel like you are in France. The only drawback was the patio door and sunlight didn’t have shades. It made for bright mornings, but didn’t ruin the wine tours or a pool day. Overall it was a great experience.

Quiet cottage centrally

Easy to find. Centrally located. Very clean. Pool and outdoor space was relaxing. Agent very helpful. We would stay again!

Beautiful and comfortable

This is a beautiful place and we enjoyed the homes and the grounds. The gardens were so beautiful and relaxing and we did harvest a few veggies and flowers as invited by the owners. Note:the homes are not air conditioned so beware in Summer months. We were lucky enough to only have one hot day during our stay.

Nice place

Everything was great — check- in process, house was very cozy and clean, area where house is located was beautiful and peaceful. The extra touch of wine and coffee left as welcome gift was great. There was a bit of miscommunication about the pool set up. However, we were able to sort it out with the property manager. We look forward to spending more time at this property.

Perfect!

We loved the property. From booking to our stay. Location and property is perfect. You feel like you are remote but you are 2 miles from Glenn Ellen. We enjoyed cycling everyday - Jack London is an easy ride and winery’s an easy drive. The house, garden and pool were all as described and more. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, relaxing, quiet stay

3 ladies stayed in this property for a wine country girls’ trip. We loved this beautiful, quiet property away from the bustle but still close to it all. Perfect location to enjoy some quiet time at home but a only a short drive to activity or entertainment. We enjoyed the morning visits from the turkeys and deer and the vegetables and fruit from the gardens and trees were delicious accompaniment to our home-cooked meals. Beds were comfortable with beautiful views from all bedrooms. Of note, air conditioning was only from window units in the bedrooms (although the weather was perfect for our visit and ac not needed.) Will definitely keep this house in mind for a return visit.

They "crushed" it! A wine country win!

The property was amazing- pictures on vrbo just don't do it justice! The owners are wonderful (even let us help out with harvest and the crush at their vineyard on site- something we've always wanted to do!) and Sandy makes the entire rental process seamless. I cannot say enough positive words about our recent stay here, but can guarantee that we'll be back! :) Thank you for a wonderful wine country get away weekend!

Quaint and charming!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mustard House! The location is quiet and peaceful, a 5 minute drive to the Glen Ellen grocery store, which is amazing, and only 20 minutes to Sonoma. We liked having the gated entry. We used the pool and hot tub, grilled and wandered around the beautiful property. We were too early in the season to enjoy the garden produce or fruit, but that is an extra bonus later in the summer. The house itself is charming. The large kitchen table was a great hang out area. The beds were comfortable and the towels were fluffy. We also liked the convenience of having one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. Be aware that there is another small house on the property and the owners are there most weekends. We would definitely rent the Mustard House again.

Great getaway for 2 couples

House sits on a quiet gated lot on lovely, well-kept grounds. Close proximity to groceries if you are cooking (which we did) and also close to great restaurants if you want to go out (which we also did). Great vibe and hub for a wine tasting weekend.

Absolutely in love with this property. From the personal touches with fresh lavender packages from the garden, to the spacious kitchen and living room, our family loved our stay at Le Jardin. Highly recommend staying here. Would come back again!

Great grounds and common areas. Bedrooms and bath layouts could be better

We enjoyed our time at Mustard House. The first floor of both buildings are nicely decorated and appointed with lots of open space for our group of 5. We fixed breakfast and hors d'oeuvres twice during our time there. The outdoor garden was impressive and the tomatoes we were encouraged to pick were delicious! The kitchen is stocked with a good array of dishes, cutlery and serving pieces as well as spices and condiments. One of our group throughly enjoyed the outside heated hot tub. Having access to a washer and dryer was helpful. The drawback was the set up of the bedrooms and bathrooms. In the main house both bedrooms are upstairs with one king and one queen. It would be so much better to have 2 kings- our one couple was disappointed. But neither bedroom has en suite access to the only upstairs bathroom (which is very large with an enormous tub) and the second full bath was on the first floor!! The smaller house did have an odd odor which we reported. It has the spiral staircase to the bedroom upstairs which is a queen. In the middle of the night coming down the stairs to use the bathroom was tricky. It is a lovely rural property near to wineries and restaurants but make sure the sleeping and bathroom arrangements work for you.
