Cozy beach unit setup for vacations with kids or couples!~ 2 bed/ 2 bath unit has been completely redone with new cabinets, granite countertops, flat-screen TV's, and is decorated to suit the beach lover's soul. The Master bedroom has a king-size bed and the master bath has a walk-in shower, tub, and double vanity sinks nestled in modern decor. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms come equipped with flat screen TV's with built DVD players. Pull out sofa & pull out twin sleeper located in the living space makes this unit perfect for accommodating couples and kids. A second bathroom off the guest bedroom and living area have a shower/tub with a single vanity sink. The unit has a square top dining table with seating for up to 6 and a washer/dryer combo. The kitchen is fully equipped with all dinnerware and silverware, pots and pans, blender, toaster, full stove and oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Electronics included in the unit for use are all TV's have DVD option, 3 disc changer with tuner in the living area, and WIFI throughout! Outside amenities included are elevators for easy access, two hot tubs, a large swimming pool, kiddie pool, poolside bathrooms, snack bar (vending), bike rentals, tennis courts, fitness center, and direct beach access. Grills are available poolside for grill-outs.

Very Clean and Very Responsive

Chip was incredible, very responsive to any questions we had before and throughout our stay. The condo was extremely clean and tidy, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The pool and hot tubs were well maintained, and the beach access was short and easy to find. The property as a whole had great security and management, especially for a busy holiday weekend. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great place to stay!

We would definitely return. It was an easy walk to the beach. Bathrooms by the pool were super nice. We had a great stay!

Great Oceanside Spot!

The condo was amazing and it's so nice to be close to the beach. Plus we also had the amenities with the pool and hot tub. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back soon.

Great and quiet stay!

We enjoyed the unit very much, it was clean and comfortable. The grounds were so well kept and pool area was immaculate. The resort was not overly filled so that made for a quiet stay. I would suggest more coffee cups for the kitchen...for those that like java, there were only 3 full size mugs.

Have stayed in this unit several times

My family and I have rented several units in Ocean Club and have been very happy with the property. Great for multigenerational vacations. Pool and easy beach access make for relaxed visit. Kitchen well equipped with basic needs. Recommended.

Great place!

This was our 3rd year back to St Simon’s island. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, comfy beds and had everything we needed for our beach vacation. We love the location and ease of getting to the beach or playing in the pool. We also enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place. Everything worked. Lots of cooking pots and pans.....kitchen fully equipped and nice big refrig. Comfy bedrooms with nice desk. Loved the Jacuzzis and pool!

Wedding Weekend on SSI

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this Beach Club condo! The location is convenient to everything SSI has to offer. The beautiful beach is just steps away! The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Everything was very easy regarding check-in and check out. The host brought by a birthday balloon since we were there celebrating my mom’s birthday which was a nice touch. The location was perfect and the facilities were great. It was very good value for the location and beach proximity. The only small issues we had were maintenance ones. There was a if hole in the washing machine area wall, the lights in the bathroom kept flickering and a light bulb out was out in the other bathroom. When we called maintenance to fix the lights, they never called us back or came to fix it. The water filter on the fridge needs to be replaced and the ice from the fridge tasted a little off. I think this is more of an issue with the maintenance company than with the apartment owners. The good news is we were there at the hottest time in history (111 degree days) and the air conditioning worked great! The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. Despite the very small issues with maintenance I recommend this place for a lovely beach getaway.

Beach Club stay

This unit is located about the middle of the wing at the Beach Club, looking out into the courtyard. Can see the beach from the balcony. Very comfortable bed and clean linens. Kitchen had everything needed. Communications with the property manager was excellent and supportive!

Beach retreat

We have booked at the beach club for 3 years now and this has been the best condo. The weekend was rainy but we didn’t mind staying around in the unit. It had a lovely aesthetic and accommodations. We did not see the office open at all so we never got parking passes. Everything went seamless.

Family of Four, with two under three

The condo itself was in pretty good condition and the decor was beach themed which was cute. There was normal wear and tear that you would expect from a rental property (stains on the sofas), but the floors were a different story. I am not sure if this falls on the cleaning crew or not, but literally my 2 year old's feet were black after walking around on the floors for only an hour or so. I'm not sure if it was from the tile floor or the carpet. The carpet probably should be replaced or steam cleaned because there are several large black areas/stains. So bring flip flops to wear inside :-) Other than those small things, the rental was exactly what we expected. The view was nice and you face the inside of the property which is beautifully landscaped. Another plus is that there is a fountain right outside the unit so you can sit and listen to it on your balcony which I found very relaxing. A huge plus for us is the location/distance to the beach. With two small children in tow we require a lot of extra equipment so the fact that this was right off the beach was a HUGE benefit. There is a great resort style pool (5 ft in the middle and 3 ft in the shallow ends (one at each end of the pool). Another huge plus for us was the stairs leading into the pool. They are the full width of the pool which means extra "play space" for our 2 year old. There is also a circular kiddie pool (no fountains or features) which is 1 foot deep. Although the pool didn't have any features (mushroom, fountain, etc.) our son was perfectly happy just playing in it with his pool toys. My husband and I used both the fitness center & the business center (complimentary for guest) which was a nice perk. The property is about 1.5 miles (about a 4 minute drive, 20 minute walk) to the St. Simons Pier Village. This is where you want to be. There is a great kids zone at Neptune Park that has a HUGE playground, Putt-Putt ($7/person, Under 3 Free), and a really nice Water Park ($7/person, Under 3 Free). Great place to spend an entire day or a half day. The Beach Club is also only about 10 minutes to Redfern Village which is home to some really great restaurants (including Gnat's landing). Within walking distance (5 minute walk) is Crabdaddy's, The Crab Trap, Beachcombers, and Boulevard Cafe (known for their breakfast & bakery). So overall this was a great trip and I would happily book with this rental property again.

Beautiful Location

This was our first visit to SSI. The location was perfect-great beach access and close to shops and restaurants. You can see the ocean from this unit and is beautifully decorated . Unfortunately, the hot tubs were out of service the entire length of our stay. We did have some issues and questions with the condo but Chip was quick to respond and provided clarity which helped greatly. Thanks Chip for a memorable stay.
