Captain's Cove, Lakefront, 9 Bed / 8 Bath, Two Story Dock with Arcade Room

Captain's Cove your premier Norris Lake destination with the family in mind.

There are 9 spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms. and a half bath on the top and bottom floor. Walk out the patio door to the waterfront, enjoy the double-decker dock with wet slide, and a view of the cove of Norris Lake. The cove is quiet, there are no waves from lake traffic, great swimming for all ages.

The top floor has a large open kitchen equipped with 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, gas range, large pantry, the large bar that seats 7, granite countertops, dining room, and living room. The living room has an awesome view of the cove with a half bath for everyone to use. There are 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, one with a daybed and the other with a sitting area.

The middle floor has a centralized washer/dryer and living area. The four bedrooms on this floor all have attached bathrooms. One bedroom has an antique king bed with antique cabinets and a view of the cove. The other three bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, 2 bedrooms have an additional daybed, and one a sitting area.

The bottom level has 3 bedrooms, one with an attached bath, and the other two are attached with a Jack N Jill bathroom. There is a half bath on this level for everyone to use. The full-size arcades has thousands of games on it, but don't worry, the captain has it set to free play to ensure hours of family fun. So after making memories on the lake, you can kick back, listen to some music, and put your initials up on your favorite games.

We now have Comcast high-speed internet. You can stay in touch with work or school right at the cabin if you have to.

On the bottom deck is an 8-person hot tub. The steps lead to a lower patio with a fire pit. The double-decker dock has a wet slide, a jumping gate, and a covered boat slip. The boat ramp is in sight from the house and is available anytime to put in the water. There are several marinas nearby where you could rent a boat if you want to.

Captain's Cove has plenty of parking located in Lakeside Estates. Easy access, 20 minutes off I-75.

Please note that from October to April, we have seasonal water, and the dock will be removed. Don't worry, the fun never stops at Captains!

This lovely property was perfect for our large family. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, the house was incredibly clean and nicely decorated. The owners of the house were quick to respond and easy to work with.

Beautiful Views

This home was just as advertised. Beautiful setting along Norris Lake. Our cousins, kids, nieces and nephews and grandkids had a blast. I highly recommend getting the toy package as for our group (adult to child) enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. The second deck water slide was a hit with young and old. Never had an opportunity to get in the hot tub but am told it was great. We spent the majority of our day outside enjoying the scenery. We managed to go hiking in Little Egypt TN and viewed some spectacular water falls. The hike is a little challenging but well worth the sweat. Our group of 24 were easily housed in this home. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some peace and quiet or total chaos. It was wonderful for family time. Would definitely rent this home again. The owners, Curtis/Abbie were very, very responsive. They usually responded in less than an hour. Highly recommend this home

Captains Cove was the perfect house for our family reunion! We had 5 families with 22 people total ranging in age from 70’s-7 months. We have stayed in multiple houses on Norris lake and this one by far has the best lake access, bedroom/bathroom setup and the arcade games were a bonus! Definitely plan to come back again!

Fantastic home

Loved the rooms and the house! Very well stocked kitchen with crock pots, waffle makers, toaster oven, 2 coffee makers including a K cup, and more. Be prepared to do some steps! 6 flights from main living area to the dock. We took my 83 year old mother with mobility issues and it was close to Sugar Hollow Marina where we could get her on and off the boat with no steps. Everyone enjoyed the time together!

Memories made

We had 14 adults and 12 kids, ages 17-5. We usually camp but this year went a different route and everyone had such a great time! The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. I would suggest bringing baggies and Tupperware. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was great that every room had its own bathroom. The house was VERY clean, kudos to the cleaning crew. All ages enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and dock water slide. There is a rope swing into the lake just a paddle board ride away. We had some rain one day so the game room was perfect to keep the kids entertained. The cove was calm and clean. No one was ready to leave. We are already talking about going back next year We got to meet Abbie and Curtis during our stay and they were so friendly and nice.

Wonderful house

Such a great time. The house was perfect for us. Be prepared for a STEEP! driveway and challenging parking with any more than 4 cars. It can be done, we had 7. Although tight, it's possible. The stairs, well... you need to get down to the water somehow. Let's just say in one day I logged 52 flights of stairs. Still worth it. The water is perfect, location is great, and be ready to spend your vacation wet. The only downside, and it's VERY minor, no TV's in the bedrooms. If you relax to a TV when hou are winding down in bed, better bring your own. Owner responded to all questions quickly and accurately. Use the provided directions and you will not have a problem finding the house. No cell service (great wifi) by any carrier at the house. In the end, I recommend this house and would rent again!

Exactly as advertised and good for a larger group!

The property gave us plenty of room to “get away” and separate with a large group. Very well stocked kitchen and the double fridges and dishwashers were a huge plus. All ages had a blast. Only drawback was with little ones under 5 years old not having a flat place to play outside and away from the water.

Great house and location

Nice house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was excellent. We didn’t have any kids with us, but I bet they would love the game room.

Wagner 50th anniversary surprise

We rented this property for my parents’ 50th anniversary. There were 21 of us ( age range 2-79) I can’t begin to tell you how amazing n non stop fun it was for all of us, I highly recommend adding the water toy package, it’s a must. It has 2 paddle boards, two kayaks, giant lily pad that we could not keep the kids or adults off of. There is a waterslide off the top deck that is amazing. The house is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, wine glasses, silverware, pots and pans which makes cooking a breeze. There’s a full washer and dryer downstairs, individual doors that close off each floor, it helps minimum the noise makes it easier for those napping. Almost all bedrooms have a private bathroom with full tub and shower. There r two rooms on bottom floor that share a bathroom. The hot tub was amazing. A large grill on the top floor with and extra propane tank, and afire pit downstairs. We spent so much time on the decks (there are three. Fully furnished) there are three refrigerators and a giant pantry that will hold all your goodies that you bring with you, or u can go to local store that is about 15 min away. The kitchen has two dishwashers, Towels are provided in the bathrooms, as well as sheets, pillows, bed covers and blankets. The basement has a bar area, two large arcade machines and Foosball table that were lots of fun. Every floor has a tv. I would recommend bringing goggles, life jackets,beach towels, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels , dishwashing detergent , detergent to clean cloths, LOTS of sunscreen and last but not least fishing poles. We caught catfish and bluegill there were bass but they didn’t bite. There were lots of turtles in the water and fish everywhere. The local airport in Knoxville is about 1 hr away. There was only one downside to this location, and this is a very minor. You lose cell service in the last 3 miles approaching the cabin. ( Waze and google maps will shut off ) so you will need to pay attention to road signs. (Don’t worry you have WiFi in the cabin). The entrance to driveway of cabin is VERY steep but worth it. Turns r very sharp n close. Look out for the captains cove sign on the left hand side of the street. Once u turn in it’s your first right than left. These r narrow roads. There is plenty of room to park, as we had 6 large vehicles. The entrance and exit road is shared with one other house. If you want the ultimate vacation location, rent this cabin!! As my dad put it- ❤️it was a dream❤️

Our favorite Norris house yet!

This house was perfect for the 4 families we had together! We absolutely could have fit even more people. The location was beautiful- tucked in a little cove not far from The Jumping Bridge. It was close to our dock which we could easily see from the house (a huge plus for us). The house layout was great too - bedrooms for all the adults on the top and middle floors, while teens enjoyed hanging out and sleeping on the bottom level with all the games and extra TV. The dock was great - we loved the lake toys too! Worth the extra rental charge! Most of all, the owner was super helpful with any and all questions and went above and beyond for us! We will be back!!

Thanksgiving Rental

We had 19 family members (ages 6 mo to 90 years) and this house was the perfect size for our week-long stay. 2 bedrooms on the main floor for those with problems with steps, plenty of room on that main floor for togetherness, but plenty of room downstairs too for when we each needed a minute or 2 alone.. The kitchen table was great size and the kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, crockpots, etc. The neighborhood hills made for great views and a great place to walk off Thanksgiving dinner. And the hosts were VERY responsive. We need a rental house this big only every other year and I usually like to try out a new place each time, but I just may have to do a repeat visit to this one.

Amazing home and wonderful hosts

Captain's Cove was perfect spot for our crew - total of 18 of us including 9 kids who were 6 and younger. The Lammers were great providing info getting us ready for our stay. The spacious and clean home was well equipped, plenty of parking. water toy package (paddleboards, kayaks and lily pad) were well used and enjoyed by all. Bonus was this house is much closer to lake than other homes we've stayed in. The cleaning crew even came back on our fist day worried they didn't restock the toilet paper :) We'll be back!

The 2 story dock is the center of attention during the day and at night the game room provides an atmosphere second to none. Captains Cove is located in prestigious Lakeside Estates, a gated community.

Captains Cove was designed for comfort from the moment you drive into the spacious private parking lot and you walk down to your 2 story dock. The cabin was designed to minimize the steps to the water. The Cabin is located near the jumping bridge so marina's and activities on the water minutes away. The fun never ends when the sun goes down at Captains Cove just check out the game room there is something to bring all ages together to make lasting memories. We have just added a new full-size arcade with 60 classic games.

Also renting a "Water toy" package which consists of 2 kayaks, 2 surf paddleboards, and a Lily pad.
