Captain's Cove your premier Norris Lake destination with the family in mind.

There are 9 spacious bedrooms with attached master bathrooms. and a half bath on the top and bottom floor. Walk out the patio door to the water, Enjoy the double-decker dock with powered water slide, and a view of the cove of Norris Lake. The cove is quiet, there are no waves from lake traffic, The cove provides safe swimming for all ages.

The top floor has a large open kitchen equipped with 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, gas range, large pantry, the large bar that seats 7, granite countertops, dining room, and living room. The living room has an awesome view of the cove with a half bath for everyone to use. There are 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and King size beds.

The middle floor has a centralized washer/dryer and living area. The four bedrooms on this floor all have attached bathrooms. One bedroom has an antique king bed with antique cabinets and a view of the cove. The other three bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, 2 bedrooms have an additional daybeds, and one a sitting area.

The bottom level has 3 bedrooms, one with an attached bath, and the other two are attached with a Jack N Jill bathroom. There is a half bath on this level for everyone to use. The full-size arcades has thousands of games on it, but don't worry, the captain has it set to free play to ensure hours of family fun. So after making memories on the lake, you can kick back, listen to some music, and put your initials up on your favorite games.

We now have Comcast high-speed internet. You can stay in touch with work or school right at the cabin if you have to.

On the bottom deck is an 8-person hot tub. The steps lead to a lower patio with a fire pit. The double-decker dock has a powered water slide, a jumping gate, and a covered boat slip. The boat ramp is in sight from the house and is available anytime to put in the water. There are several marinas nearby where you could rent a boat if you want to.

The Gated community has a seasonal community shared pool available for you between memorial day to Labor day.

Captain's Cove has plenty of parking located in Lakeside Estates. Easy access, 20 minutes off I-75.

Please note that from October to April, we have seasonal water, and the dock will be removed. Don't worry, the fun never stops at Captains!

Extended Family Vacarion

Captains Cove was the perfect house for our family reunion! We had 5 families with 22 people total ranging in age from 70’s-7 months. We have stayed in multiple houses on Norris lake and this one by far has the best lake access, bedroom/bathroom setup and the arcade games were a bonus! Definitely plan to come back again!

The perfect Norris getaway!

Loved the location, view and dock! The house was perfect for our group of 6 families. The kids had a wonderful time at the dock. The water slide provided lots of entertainment. Covered porch was a great hangout spot as well. We will definitely be back in the future!

Amazing Place!

The cabin was amazing and very roomy! Enjoyed the communication with the owners - they were beyond helpful! They had a hair chair, two pack and plays. Plenty of kitchenware and kitchen space for multiple people and cooks! :)

Exactly as advertised and good for a larger group!

The property gave us plenty of room to “get away” and separate with a large group. Very well stocked kitchen and the double fridges and dishwashers were a huge plus. All ages had a blast. Only drawback was with little ones under 5 years old not having a flat place to play outside and away from the water.

Great Family Escape!

Our extended family had a wonderful time at Captains Cove! Kids young & old loved the game room, video games, and hot tub! The house is so spacious and well-stocked with everything you need. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, great outdoor space, and a pretty view even in the depths of winter. We hope to come back for a summer time visit to enjoy the lake too! The owners were so easy to work with and very responsive to questions and requests. Awesome experience all around!

Fantastic home

Loved the rooms and the house! Very well stocked kitchen with crock pots, waffle makers, toaster oven, 2 coffee makers including a K cup, and more. Be prepared to do some steps! 6 flights from main living area to the dock. We took my 83 year old mother with mobility issues and it was close to Sugar Hollow Marina where we could get her on and off the boat with no steps. Everyone enjoyed the time together!

So Much Fun!

We had a great time with our friends at Captain's Cove! There was so much to do on the property and we loved all of the water toys. The kitchen was nice and roomy and lots of people could help prepare our meals at the same time. The huge dining room table provided lots of room for everyone to sit together and play games or tell stories. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which provided for a peaceful retreat after a fun day on the lake. We were also close to the marinas if we didn't feel like cooking and wanted to go out. We can't wait to go back!

Captain's Cove

Very nice - only problem was a phone system where some one had switched the cables in the jacks, so we didn't have any land line, or internet for 3 days. We turned the AC up - the suggested temperature from the owners was too cool for all of us.

Our favorite Norris house yet!

This house was perfect for the 4 families we had together! We absolutely could have fit even more people. The location was beautiful- tucked in a little cove not far from The Jumping Bridge. It was close to our dock which we could easily see from the house (a huge plus for us). The house layout was great too - bedrooms for all the adults on the top and middle floors, while teens enjoyed hanging out and sleeping on the bottom level with all the games and extra TV. The dock was great - we loved the lake toys too! Worth the extra rental charge! Most of all, the owner was super helpful with any and all questions and went above and beyond for us! We will be back!!

Excellent host, great family gathering rental

We had some weather related issues, but I cannot say enough about Jane’s prompt communication. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and in good shape during our stay. The house itself is well equipped for large groups. The cove is secluded and no wake, making it safe for kids to enjoy swimming, sliding off the dock, and the rope swing right across the cove. We had 3 boats and found the dock to be well accommodating. There are some stairs and 3 levels within the house itself, but very manageable for our crew (13 adults and 11 kids!!). The house comfortably and easily fit everyone. Town is not far, just a 15 minute drive to groceries and such. We had such a great time. Thank you, Jane!!

Memories made

We had 14 adults and 12 kids, ages 17-5. We usually camp but this year went a different route and everyone had such a great time! The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. I would suggest bringing baggies and Tupperware. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was great that every room had its own bathroom. The house was VERY clean, kudos to the cleaning crew. All ages enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and dock water slide. There is a rope swing into the lake just a paddle board ride away. We had some rain one day so the game room was perfect to keep the kids entertained. The cove was calm and clean. No one was ready to leave. We are already talking about going back next year We got to meet Abbie and Curtis during our stay and they were so friendly and nice.

Captains Cove has something for everyone of all ages. The cove is near multiple marinas and offers some of the best swimming on the lake. The 2 story dock is the center of attention during the day and at night the game room provides an atmosphere second to none. Captains Cove is located in prestigious Lakeside Estates, a gated community.

Captains Cove was designed for comfort from the moment you drive into the spacious private parking lot and you walk down to your 2 story dock. The cabin was designed to minimize the steps to the water. The Cabin is located near the jumping bridge so marina's and activities on the water minutes away. The fun never ends when the sun goes down at Captains Cove just check out the game room there is something to bring all ages together to make lasting memories. We have just added a new full-size arcade with 60 classic games.

Also renting a "Water toy" package which consists of 2 kayaks, 2 surf paddleboards, and a Lily pad.
