Beautifully Decorated Home W / Hot Tub, Very Close to Beach, Large Wooded Lot

Welcome to Serendipity, our cottage near the lake! This beautifully decorated, 3000 square foot home is located a few yards from the beach. Just walk out the door, cross the road and down to the beach.

Guests will feel instantly welcomed by the tranquil, beach inspired décor of this lovely home. The 1st floor great room features a large flat screen TV above the gas fireplace and comfortable seating for gathering. Also located on the first floor, is a beautifully appointed modern kitchen with new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. A large dining table provides seating for 8 with additional seating for 3 at the raised kitchen countertop. The kitchen opens out onto the great room. Off the great room you will find walk out sliding glass doors to a sunny & bright, three-seasons room (a perfect location to read and enjoy a morning cup of coffee). There is additional dining space for four in this room.

The King Master BR features a flat screen TV and an ensuite bath with double vanity, large jetted tub and a double walk-in shower. 2 Queen BR's w/flat screen TV's sharing a full bathroom are also located on the first floor. Guests will enjoy the convenience of full-sized washer and dryer located in the first floor laundry room.

Upstairs you’ll find a second large living room area and a 2nd King Master BR with half bath. Both the living room and 2nd Master BR have flat screen TVs.

There is another large BR on this level with 4 twin beds (one is a trundle). There is also a full bathroom with a large soaking tub/shower off the upstairs living area.

In the evening, guests can enjoy a glass of wine in the large 7-8-person hot-tub while surrounded by nature in the large wooded lot. Guests may also enjoy relaxing or dining on the deck while enjoying the scenic surroundings. It’s not unusual to spot a blue jay, cardinal or deer grazing in the woods. There is also an outdoor hot/cold shower to rinse the sand off after a day at the beach. There is gas grill on the deck for your convenience and you can also roast marshmallows as you sit around the brick fire pit enjoying a warm fire on a cool night .

We have tried to provide all the conveniences of home such as towels, linens, a small library of books, board games, beach toys, etc. We want to make sure your visit is pleasant and worry free.

There are many fun and exciting things to do in Harbor Country. There is no shortage of leisure activities to be enjoyed. A few of these are: beach combing miles of beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, Warren Dunes (located 10 min. North), bike riding, kayaking, local art festivals, farmer's market featuring fresh produce (during the summer months), browsing shops with unique displays of arts and crafts, antiques etc., local parks with splash pad, casinos, fishing, hiking and much more.

You will find a variety of dining options in Harbor Country including casual or formal settings with a choice of in or outdoor dining. The area is also known for the local wineries featuring wine tastings.

Our home also has an outdoor fire-pit located in our large backyard where your group can roast marshmallows and maybe build a snowman (if there's snow). We may also keep the hot tub open through the end of February. (Be sure to inquire about this prior to booking).
