This magnificently renovated condo in Del Mar Beach Colony is just what you've been looking for for your vacation! Central a/c!

Fully stocked Kitchen with brand new appliances. Downstairs is one bedroom with the bunk beds and on full bathroom. Upstairs boasts 2 generous size suites with en suite bathroom and walk in closets. The condo comes equipped with free wi fi, all your linens, and an in unit washer & dryer! We provide beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and boogie boards and sand toys for a day at the beach. There is an outdoor barbecue on your own private patio area.

The complex does have a pool and a heated jacuzzi! Many families love that option after a long day at the beach or sight seeing!
This charming property lets you experience the true ambiance of Old Del Mar including the Coaster Train. (Yes you can hear and feel the train as it runs up and down the coast)
Spacious 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms, 2 stories 1500 sq. feet, located close to all in Del Mar. You will enjoy an outdoor BBQ, fully equipped kitchen, a bar top with stools, and 2 covered gated parking spaces. Everything you need is here; a blender for margaritas, separate bathrooms and showers, small in unit washer and dryer. Stay home and make dinner or walked to local restaurants. Walk across the street to Poseidon or Jakes or the beach to enjoy a sunset! The condo sleeps 6 but that is with children. 3 adults MAX.

This condo was so cute and clean. Property manager responded so quickly and was extremely helpful in anything we needed! Had everything! Just steps from the beach. Parking so easy and convenient! Would stay again.

Diamond in Del Mar

This was an absolutely fabulous property! The location was perfect, walkable to shops, restaurants and the beach! The decor is even more beautiful in person and the pool area is a great place to just relax and enjoy the sun. Nina was also an amazingly attentive host. We will definitely be going back.

Quick Getaway to DelMar

This property was wonderfully located and was great for our family of 5. It was very nicely decoarted and stocked with what we needed. They even left a gift box of snacks that my kids loved and devoured! The host was very communicative and the check-in/out process was easy. I'd love to go back!

Absolute Gem

2nd stay in this fantastic cluster of units 1 block off the beach. This particular unit was recently remodeled and it was gorgeous. Boho beach chic with top of the line appliances, TV’s and furniture. The unit was well appointed with everything you will need for a first class stay. Of special note was how comfortable the beds were. Most important is Nina Detrow with Surfside Vacation Rentals. She represents these Units with great professionalism; great communication, excellent responsiveness, and easy to do business with. She is Top Notch!

Annual summer kick off Del Mar trip

Beach Visit for Labor Day

House 100 percent as advertised. We were there during a heat wave and one of the nights was pretty hard but the rest of the time it was ok not to have AC. House manager SUPER responsive and helpful. Perfect location - house well stocked.

We love this property!

This was our fourth stay on this property (two different units) and we just love the proximity to the beach, the town, park, pool, and restaurants. The kids love the whole experience and talk about it all year. The unit is cozy and now very much feels like home. Nina is a gracious, attentive hostess who never misses a detail. Can’t wait for our next annual trip!

Great Location

The location is great, clean beaches, wonderful for families with pets. The lack of hoops we had to jump through to rent this place with a 50lb husky was a huge plus. This convenience does come with a $300 nonrefundable pet fee, which I thought was pretty high all things considered, but boarding is way more expensive so it wasn't the biggest of deals. The reason we gave 4 stars: The check in was listed as 3:00, but our unit wasn't ready until 4:30. With a check out time of 10am, we assumed the house would be ready in time. The other thing (which is very understandable considering the location) is the house was covered in sand. The biggest problem was the ants. Despite being very careful with the dog and human food, the ants seemed to just exist and no matter how clean we were, they remained. All in all, the location was worth the minor hassles. The condo was very secure with private parking. We didn't have to drive anywhere except the grocery store the first day. The local people were very friendly and for it being late summer, the beaches weren't overly crowded like most So. Cal typically is. Recommended :)

Perfect Stay

We rented this home for my parents and our three kids and it was perfect. The downstairs bedroom is large for the kids to play plus the bunk bed had a trundle under it too so it fit the entire family. There were also tons of beach toys and kids toys inside for our three kiddos to play with so that was unexpected. The patio is fairly small and there isn't a door/patio gate so taking things to the patio after a beach day tracks in sand through the living room which we didn't mind much but I wish there was a patio door. We will definitely be back!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

Spent 10 wonderful days in Del Mar. This condo is a 4-minute walk to/from the beach and the 3 bedrooms were all nice and roomy. I called in advance to inquire about a crock pot and baby gate for the stairs and the manager purchased both items before our arrival. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to prepare meals without difficulty. There were not only beach chairs and beach umbrellas available but also ice chests and a beach cart to roll things to the beach. It was wonderful not having to worry about parking since it's always a problem in Del Mar; we were able to park our big SUV and my daughter's minivan in the underground parking garage. We had a couple of minor issues which were promptly resolved (batteries for a TV remote and AC unit condensation). Overall, it was a great place and would love to return.

Clean and Cozy

We were a group of 5 adults and this condo perfectly fit our needs. Location is wonderful for shopping and dining and so close to the beach. Very impressed by the cleanliness as well. I will say that the living room furniture is worn and not very comfortable. Also, the Master bath shower head was still broken, as mentioned in a previous post and the water temp was difficult to regulate. The TV in the downstairs bedroom was also not working, but it was not an issue for the guest who stayed in that room. It took some getting used to the Coaster Train coming through during the night for the light sleepers in our group. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Excellent service / Excellent location

Nina and crew provide excellent service and their service elevates this to a four star property in my mind. We had a few items of concern and each one was addressed very promptly: 1. I noticed late the first night that one of the bedrooms was missing a smoke detector so I ran out to buy one. As soon as I mentioned this to Nina, she promptly refunded a portion of my stay to cover the cost of the smoke detector. 2. The tv screen had a black bar on one side. Again, as soon as I mentioned this, they had someone out the very next morning to measure it for replacement. 3. Someone was parked in our spot in the garage and they went door to door to find the person and have them move the car. The service here is wonderful! The location is wonderful! You can literally walk to the beach in just a couple minutes. For example, my 6 year old and I walked from the beach, back to the condo so she could use the bathroom, and back in the 10 minutes before sunset one evening. There also a couple restaurants within walking distance and the entirety of downtown Del Mar is within walking distance. There are many details here that add to this rental - soaps / shampoos in the bathrooms, like at a hotel, games in the kid's room, baby equipment in the kid's room (I forget what specifically since our's our past that age, but I think there was a highchair and a bed rail), sand toys for the kids, beach chairs, beach umbrella, grill, etc. There are a couple of items that I didn't enjoy that I believe are worth mentioning. Perhaps these are a matter of opinion more than anything ... 1. The slipcovers on the furniture in the family room feel a bit sloppy as they don't fit well. This is in contrast to the kitchen that appears nice and updated. 2. You can't really see anything outside. This is by design as the glass on the front of the unit is frosted to keep peering eyes out, and the wall around the porch is high to keep eyes / people out. I get those reasons, but it feels like you're a bit hemmed in while in the unit. But who really needs to be in the unit - it's San Diego - go outside! 3. The showerhead in the master bathroom is broken. I forgot to mention this while we were there, but I'm going to email them and I'm sure it'll be addressed promptly. We showered downstairs (much better shower - it was also VERY hard to get the correct water temp in the MB shower) all week instead. If we ever return to San Diego, we'd likely rent this unit again.

Stay in Del Mar

Great location and clear instructions provided and suggestions offered. Close to the beach and retail within walking distance. The condo itself worked well; having a designated, covered parking spot was useful, too. The only negative comment would be the condo was a little musty or something. Enjoyed our stay, and the price was very reasonable.

Comfy condo close to the beach!

Wow! We had an outstanding visit to Del Mar at Nina's place. First of all, when she says this is the best location, she's right: it is just a block to the beach, or two blocks to restaurants. Even though this was a business trip in Feb/March, the water was so close that I had to walk across the street to soak it up before and after work. I loved walking down to Torrey Pines along the beach at low tide. Ok, more about the condo. Beautiful light throughout the place. Three spacious bedrooms, big clean and comfy beds, family room with tv, and a fully equipped kitchen -- with coffee and tea provided to smooth my arrival. It has decks and balconies. BBQ grill. Two parking spaces. Pool and hot tub. Laundry in the condo. It's a home away from home. There is really everything you need to have a good time. We spent two weeks here -- and we would have stayed longer if we could!

Great location, great price, great management

The place was super nice, clean, and had great amenities. From clean towels, beach chairs, and boogie board we had everything we needed. We love this location! An extremely quaint gated community with an awesome hot tub and pool area, and two parking spots for our car. Not to mention about 100 feet from the beach. Nina was really easy to work with - very prompt in returning my calls/emails, and even left us a super cool surfboard cutting board! We had the best time on vacation here and will absolutely be returning to this location.

Everyone loves the LOCATION at Coast Blvd at the corner of 18th & Coast Blvd. Right ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE BEACH and walking distance to the park, restaurants and shops! There are no stairways to the beach ... it is less than 100 yards. The ocean front playground at Powerhouse Park is one of a kind. Kids love to watch the trains go by and moms & dads can enjoy the ocean surf. The restaurants close by are anything from Starbucks, to pizza to fine dining!

Del Mar is a very family friendly community. Our state of the art lifeguard station at 17th Street has showers and restrooms, not to mention the nicest staff ready to help you with any questions! The Del Mar lifeguards are truly the best!

This property lets you experience the true ambiance of Old Del Mar including the Coaster Train. It is only one mile to the Del Mar Race Track and Fairgrounds.
This complex has ten individually owned units. Relax in the heated spa or take a dip in the swimming pool. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and flat screen TV. I will make sure that someone will always respond asap to any questions! I also love to travel and have a high standard for my properties. Our kitchens are all stocked. We supply a generous amount of towels! We also supply most paper products, trash bags, cleaning products so you just have to bring your food and personal toiletries. There are 2 boogie boards, 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella, 1 cooler and beach towels for your time at the beach! We also supply 1 hair dryer, 1 pack n play and 1 high chair, Iron & ironing board. There is a small in unit washer & dryer which is great especially with kids. Newly remodeled 2022 and it's the location you will love! I am so sorry - no pets allowed at this unit. I do manage other units in this same complex!
