We stayed in this place for 2 nights as we come to Hot Springs every year to visit. The first thing I would like to say is the owners were easy to communicate with and seemed very friendly. They kept the house well stocked with towels, toilet paper, and various other every day necessities. However, I would recommend a thorough cleaning of this place. The floors were absolutely filthy. This was evident by walking on the floors and taking a look at the bottoms of our feet AFTER we all took showers. The bedsheets were visibly dirty in 2 of the bedrooms, which made me sleep on top of the covers in the 3rd bedroom. The mattresses were very uncomfortable as they were too firm. The place had a musty dusty smell to it. The water pressure was not good. In the nicer shower where my wife and I took showers there was someone else’s hair around the drain and I didn’t notice this until I was showering and the water didn’t drain very well. The hair in the drain was long and grayish and I am bald so that’s how I knew it was someone else’s hair. The rear deck where the grill and chairs were was smothered in leaves. I hate to give so many negative comments, but I feel the need to be honest with my review. Again, the owners seemed very nice, but I do not feel that this place was worth over 300 for 2 nights in the condition that it was in. The place seems neglected by the owners. Do they even care about the quality of this place? It doesn’t seem so.
