If you're attending an event at Gunstock Mountain Resort or you're just planning to go on their Zipline then this is a perfect location for you. Exceptional place and host was very accommodating. Cottage was so inviting and clean. Even though unit had one bedroom the cottage felt roomy and lots of nice updates and touches. Close to concert venue so convenient for us!We hope to rent it again and explore more of area. Thank you, Kay!

Great Stay!

Very pleased with this rental. Very clean, quiet and well equipped. The location was ideal for us to see a concert at the BankNH and for hiking around Gunstock resort. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Just as described quaint cottage, very clean. Quick drive to Weirs Beach and the Pavillion. Owner was responsive. Would stay here again!

The property property provides a great place to stay when visiting the Lakes Region or attending a concert nearby. The house was clean and comfortable. Kay was a great host.

Cozy escape!

We love Kay's cottage - it gives us a place to stay close by family but a separate retreat to escape to. Great kitchen for cooking (gas stove), stainless appliances, woodsy feel, love the decor, clean and very cool even in the heat. This is our second summer staying there and we will go back again!

Gilford visit

I loved the cottage! It was very cute and I loved the bear and moose decor. Location was great for our needs. We were up for a concert and the location was great for that. We also went to the Weirs a couple of times since it was so easy to get to. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice house, quiet area

Nice little house, very clean, only complaint is that after charging a cleaning fee the owner requires that you clean and do laundry before checkout. That should be clear and right upfront in the description.

Super clean, great stay!

I love a clean property and this little place was exactly that. My husband and I stayed here with our baby for a few days while visiting family on the lake. It was the perfect home base for us. As some others have noted, an AC unit of some kind in the bedroom upstairs would be nice. We opted to sleep downstairs because it was quite hot for the few days we stayed. My only other comment (which I acknowledge is a bit bit-picky) is that the towels, while freshly washed and clean, were a bit old/dingy looking and could use replacing. But otherwise this was a great stay and I would 100% stay again!

Great stay!

The house was beautiful. It was a little difficult to find but there is a marker with the house number on it. We had a great stay. It was extremely hot upstairs but we were aware of no AC upstairs before arrival. I would recommend bringing a box fan to put in the window. The washer and dryer was a great addition especially since were were caught in a huge rain storm! Very cozy home. The bed was pretty hard but we lived through it. In the check out instructions, it says to sweep floors but I couldn't find a broom. Kay was a pleasure to talk to and was very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

Exactly what we were looking for!

My boyfriend, his daughter and I stayed at Kay's lovely lake house. While the home isn't on the water, it was perfect for our needs as we have family nearby that is on the water. The home had everything we needed and was so well located. Everything was as advertised. It was a little noisy because it's close to a busy road but we knew that up front and expected it. Would be great if it had air conditioning on the second floor but realize that is difficult due to the casement window. The decor was lovely and we felt very much at home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals and then some. The only other thing we would "wish" for was the ability to block morning sunlight a little better(although it mostly hits the back of the house) just so we could sleep in later on our vacation morning! :-)

A cozy spot near the lake

The location and size of the house was perfect for my wife and I. The house has all of the basics and is within easy biking distance to Ellacoya State Park and walking distance to Ellacoya Barn and Grill (great food!) The house has a bedroom upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs. There is also a sleeper sofa downstairs. We chose to sleep on the sleeper sofa because of the proximity tot he bathroom and it was much cooler downstairs with the air conditioning.
