The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Pool was very clean and accessible. Some minor flaws in the house, but nothing that was bothersome. It was a very pleasant experience. The kids LOVED the elevator which was very convenient.

House is great, neighbors are noisy

The house was wonderful - had everything we needed, very clean. The train, the other cars in the parking lot, and the neighborsā€™ kids start getting loud at 5:30am and donā€™t really stop. Oh, and bring some blackout curtains for the Master bedroom.

Needs improvements

On arrival thought we had found a nice place- however multiple things needs replaced. Microwave didnā€™t work, carpet had multiple stains. Holes in furniture, blinds broken. But worst was one tub drain did not work. When I used plunger to get water down. tons of dirt and a whole cigarette came out of drain.

Great Location and Value

Home is located away from main beaches but within 30 to 45 minutes. Plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Fully stocked kitchen. Just stop at grocery to pick up food and paper products and your set for the stay. Easy to reach owners. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation Stay

Property was amazing. The game room was a bonus for the children. My cousin has a mobility issues and the elevator in the home made it easy for him to access the different floors in home. Not sure why we could not access front balcony texted host about this issue and she never replied. All and all family had a good time.

Great stay and location

Location was great. Quick ride to sports on the beach and anywhere we needed to go. The house was on the corner and very close to the pool and extra parking. The kids enjoyed the pool. It was low key and enjoyable each time we were able to go. I highly recommend this rental. The only down fall was that most all beds were twins so that made it hard for couples and handicapped sleepers.

Nicely located 20 minutes from several beaches

Laid back community! Very quiet, low key area. Home was very nice! Clean and away from the hustle and bustle of beaches. Yes was a drive but worth it not to have to deal with traffic. Owner was super nice , communicated very well and we had NO issues at all with our stay! Ping Pong was a hit with our teens!

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at this property. We needed somewhere to stay while our home in Dagsboro was under renovation.We entered the home to empty toilet paper rolls, empty soap, no paper towels, pot holders, etc. I have stayed at dozens of properties and this is the only bad review I have ever left. I ignored the fact that the home was empty of all amenities, and went to the store to pickup what I needed. I came home and started looking around the home to find that every baseboard, railing, and most surfaces were really dirty with black handprints and dog hair. I opened my bed downstairs to a circle full of dog hair. I ignored all of this and cleaned it. I then went downstairs to take the trash to the cans and there was one black can in the front full of water, trash, and maggots and had a horrible smell. The two cans in the back were completely full leaving me to take my trash to my own trash can at my home. I ignored this. I then went to do a load of laundry and the washer was broken! Adding all of this up I reached out to the host (day 4/10) and they answered back about 24 hours later saying they would send someone to fix the washer and they would get the trash picked up and that I needed to take it to the curb! When I mentioned that everything was empty upon arriving (I just wanted to let them know the cleaners were really lacking) they did send us amenities but made sure to say that this isn't a hotel" & it's not included! 10 day stay, no washer

Great Stay!

We rented the house for a week with 9 people and it was a great stay. The owner, Brett, was great about communication both before and during our stay. The layout of the house provides lots of room so you aren't constantly on top of each other and the 4 bathrooms (3 with showers) was great for our large group! The pool was quiet and relaxing and the jacuzzi tub in the master bath is very nice. Trips to Assateague, Ocean City, Bethany and Rehoboth Beach are all 30-40 minutes away so we did have to do a lot of driving, but it was worth it to stay in a quiet area. If your family likes crabbing, check out the Assawoman Wildlife Refuge on Camp Barnes road - a short drive to a beautiful, quiet spot and we caught plenty of delicious crabs there! The only 2 downsides were the parking (limited for your 2nd or 3rd vehicle, especially on Friday/Saturday) and the kitchen (equipped with the basics, but not a large selection of pots/utensils). Overally I would definitely recommend this property!

Fun house

The house was very nice! I was glad I read previous reviews before going so I knew to bring my own towels so we would not need to do a load of laundry before leaving. The game room was a lot of fun, and there are table games all over the house. The house worked out well for four of us for a bachelorette party, each bedroom had its own full bath. We loved the amount of space, and it could have easily fit the 10 of us we originally planned without a problem! It looks like it had not been deep cleaned in a while, as we found some wrappers under beds and that type of thing, but the place was clean and had everything we needed!

Location location location as they say in real estate

Very comfortable townhouse with more than enough room for the 6 of us. Very quiet small development and most days we were the only ones at the pool. Very convenient for the beaches with Bethany only 20-25 minutes away and Fenwick also. Local restaurants were plentiful and being away from the tourist areas the prices reflect that, highly recommend the Blue Water Grill and the Salted Rim for great food and service. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice place!

We really enjoyed our stay but honestly if I would have known before booking would have went somewhere else. We're big time into grilling and bought a portable Weber to take but wasn't allowed to use it per house rules. Also I would have taken my own sheets and towels if I'd known what a mess it was in the closet to find any! The communication was great with the owner other than that though!

Overall nice property, but dirty!

Very nice property within a 30 min drive to many things, including stores & beaches. If you plan on going to the Bethany Beach boardwalk or Rehoboth, though, be prepared to drive around searching for (paid) parking. The house had plenty of beds & bathrooms. I appreciated having the elevator to get my luggage up to the 3rd floor. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of necessities & cleaning supplies. Check-in was complicated, as the info. never sent to us correctly. This may have been an error with the booking system? I didnā€™t hear back from owner for help for 2 hours (an hour after check-in time) but heard back from the travel agency after an hour (about 15 min after check-in time). We were still able to get in the house relatively quickly. The binder with rules & info, as well as the basket with pool passes, were not where they were said to be located, & required some searching. The papers may need some updating, as I found discrepancies w/ the pool entry code & check-in/check-out times b/w papers & what was listed on the site (I went by the check-out time of noon listed on the doc the owner sent me directly assuming itā€™s most up-to-date, & received a text from him around 1130 asking if Iā€™d checked out yet?) Despite being told the house was professionally cleaned prior to arrival, there was no evidence that it was: thick layers of dust (corners of walls, on fans, lamps, counters, vents, etc.), old food on carpets and on game table. The property definitely needs some TLC to repair some things. The TP could use restocking. Be prepared to have to match sheets & locate towels, then make beds upon arrival. Also, make sure to allot time on your last day to wash sheets. The listing advertised a ping pong table, but arrived to find it had been replaced with a foosball table (not really a big deal, but a heads up would have been nice.) I would rent this property again, on the condition that it was actually clean upon arrival! The owner was kind, but Iā€™d prefer not to have to worry about cleaning otherā€™s dirt on my vacation. Overall, it was an enjoyable family vacation, in close proximity to the pool, without the chaos of a more tourist-y area.

We didnā€™t spend much time at the property, as we have family in Dagsboro, so couldnā€™t comment on pool, as other guests have. We appreciated Brettā€™s flexibility with our dates, as we misunderstood the actual graduation date.

2 Night Stay

The property was a little out of the way not much around. We did not use the pool. The renters before us left the garbage cans totally full which we advised the owner. Pots and Pans need to be replaced they were very worn. Overall it was decent.

Big home in nice area

Property had plenty of space for our large group if you donā€™t mind matching sheets, making beds and spending your last entire day doing laundry. It could use a visit by the owner to restock, TP and remote control batteries especially. We found poopy underwear in the upstairs bathroom upon arrival so Iā€™m not sure if anyone checked the place between renters. Otherwise property was good. I recommend updating printed book, all codes and hours were outdated but he did email current info.

Hardworking and very committed landlord to give you great customer satisfaction . I grew up in Middletown , Delaware and now I live in Clayton Delaware . I graduated from Hodgson Vo tech in 2006 and I have been working as a full time electrician every since. This house has been passed down to me from my mother , their is some pride to keep it in tip top shape.

My mother purchased this property because she loved how it very quiet and peaceful, its a condo association so the outside of the house is well maintained. The house is 10 miles away from the nearest beach which makes it a very easy commute. The pool is well-kept and is a nice added bonus. You won't have to deal with the overflow of traffic compared to places on the other side of town.

Most of my tenants love the peacefulness of the house and well equipped and big it is for the price.The house has just about everything you need to be able to just get away from the everyday hassles. The house has full WIFI internet and TV, the kitchen is well equipped and has all the appliances you should need. We have 4 TV's in the house with 2 blue rays / dvd players. The house has an elevator if you have someone that might need assistance for handicap purposes. Their are two balconies on the second floor of the house with chairs if you just feel like getting some fresh air.
