Small issue with the ice maker, tv problems, and couldn’t locate the pool area that was mentioned in the advertisement. Quick response time if we had any issues. Very quiet nice neighborhood great value for the price. Close to Bethany beach to Dewey Beach, Rehoboth and Ocean City.I would definitely recommend this property for family and friends to rent.

This unit was clean and met our needs, but it is dated and needs some improvements, such as better lighting and a new mattress in the master suite (only one lamp and mattress was terrible), a new shower head, and better drainage of the sinks in both bathrooms.

Just as advertised! Perfect place’

Easy drive to Bethany, but still close to other beaches if you want to branch out during your stay! Super spacious and comfortable.

The key is to read carefully. The access to the pool pavilion is a significant extra cost which can only be paid in week-long packages. The listing should say that you can buy access. Probably would have shopped around for a place that included the access in the cost. To be fair local beach travel included, but no one wants to spend more when you spent significantly to have the location.

We are sorry that it caught you by surprise. We will try to make it a little clearer in the write-up. And the fact that it is weekly is really a product of the rental environment in the area. A lot of the rentals are strictly for week-long stays. We have chosen to offer shorter stays for those who have limited time. Again, thank you, and we hope to see you back soon!

We had a nice stay here. The unit is very nice and well located, and it was an excellent value. The only issues were maintenance- and cleaning-related.

All in all our stay was wonderful. The place was very clean and spacious l feel like the photos don't do it justice. It's about a 20 minute drive to Bethany Beach which is pretty nice and you have the option to pay for an amenities package for the recreational activities on-site. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer for us was the travel crib. It was really only a pack and play, not a combo with a bassinet. I couldn't imagine my 6 month old son sleeping on that hard unsupported pad for 10-12 hours a night. Thankfully we had brought a bassinet pad with us and used cushions to elevate him up in the crib so it worked out. They also have a very nice screened in back porch which was perfect for early morning breakfast! If we have the opportunity to come back I think we definitely would!

Relaxing home away from home

This is the second time my family has stayed at this home. It is relaxing, clean, and comfortable. When there is an issue, the owner is quick to respond, even if that means having a battery delivered to the door for a chirping smoke detector. Bear Trap Dunes is a great place to stay for your vacation. I would highly recommend this serene place.

Quiet Spring Break Stay

Came with one of my sons for his Spring Break for some one on one time. Nice and spacious. Clean and had all the cooking amenities needed to prepare meals in. We love staying at Bear Traps but we usually bring our dogs and have the rest of our family so we stay in a detached house. Great location at the end of October Glory - no one traffic coot those staying back there. Loved the porch looking over the water.

Outstanding Vacation Home -- 6 Stars!

Quite possibly the nicest vacation home I've seen in nearly 72 years of vacationing. They absolutely spared no expense in adorning the home with appliances, furnishings and wall decorations. Clearly, the most well-appointed vacation home -- having everything that anyone could possibly need. We literally wanted for nothing. Ther were all of the appliances we needed, to include washer, dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, etc. Also, dishes, silverware, bowls, pots, pans, etc. This was the only vacation home that that I've ever seen that had smoke detectors AND was fully sprinklered. Also, there was a very inviting lanai for morning coffee or evening beverages. Absolutely the most quiet and well-groomed neighborhoods I've visited, being far away enough for peace and quiet, yet convenient enough for the beach and shopping. By the way, the price really made this a bargain.

Family trip

Overall we enjoyed the property. However there were a few things that could be addressed. The ice maker didn’t work. Some of the remotes didn’t have batteries and others were corroded. There were 4 remotes for the TV but no instructions on which one did what. There was only a tiny bit of hand soap left in the master bath and the one in the secondary bath only had water in it. The shower door for the master bath doesn’t close and therefore gets the floor wet and slippery which caused me to fall.

Lovely

Property was wonderful and comfortable. There was lots of room for everyone. Beach was close enough. Fifty dollars charge was worth it for the pool, sauna, jaccuzi, gym and transportation to Bethany Beach. Community was nice and quiet. Marvelous Visit

Perfect beach getaway

We loved staying in this home and had a fun family vacation just a short and easy drive to the beach. They had everything we needed right in the house - extra blankets, beach gear, fully stocked kitchen. Everything was clean and there was plenty of space for our group of 8 to spread out. We also loved the pool but were disappointed by the high price of the passes — $50 a person for the week (also includes other amenities). And they actually never even checked that we had them. Also we went to the second pool and were told we couldn't use it because it was owners only. That's nothing against the homeowners though, just Bear Trap Dunes in general. This place was lovely and we would definitely book again.
