Bay Watch Resort in North Myrtle Beach has all the amenities!!! 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom. Sleeps up to 6 guests.

Enjoy beautiful views up and down the coastline from your 16th floor oceanfront balcony. Family Friendly Resort is located in the highly sought after section of Crescent Beach in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! When you are not enjoying the beautiful white sand beaches just steps away, or the expansive indoor/outdoor pools, hot tubs, or lazy river, then enjoy all this 1 bedroom unit has to offer. Free WiFi for work and streaming your favorite shows on the 55" 4K Smart HDTV in the living room or 50" 4K Smart HDTV in the bedroom; Full bath with Jacuzzi Tub/Shower combo; Bedroom has 1 Queen and 1 Full size Bed. Full-size Murphy Bed is also available in the Living room. Unit is a one bedroom-deluxe which means you enter the unit into the kitchen (some units at Baywatch enter/exit directly though the bedroom). We strive to keep a clean and well-maintained unit. Unit has a full size refrigerator, stove, and microwave but when you don't feel like cooking check out the onsite restaurant, sports bar, or poolside grill and bar.

Resort is full of amenities! Indoor/Outdoor/Kiddie Pools, Lazy Rivers, Restaurant, Poolside Grill & Bar, Fitness Center, Gift shop.

Special restrictions:
* Parking for 1 standard-sized vehicle is included in the rate. Parking is in a covered parking garage across the street. There are a small number of handicap spaces and a 15 minute unloading zone available steps from the building entrance.
* This is a non-smoking resort. No Smoking allowed in the unit or on the balcony or public areas.
* The resort no longer allows dogs. The owner does not allow pets of any kind due to family members with allergies.
* Coin operated Washer/Dryer are available on the main floor of the building for guest use. Machines are not located within the unit itself.
* Must be at least 25 years of age to rent. Rates quoted include linens for the 2 beds in the bedroom and towels, departure cleaning, and in-unit internet. Rates do not include mid-week cleaning or linen exchange. Linens for the Murphy Bed can be quoted for additional fee.

EXTENDED WINTER & OFF SEASON RENTALS are available for snowbirds. Please send me a request for dates and number of occupants, and I will get back to you with a quote.

Review

The property was very well located. Everything was very close to the resort. The resort room was very dated needed to be updated with mattresses and appliances and sheets for the bed. Overall, the state was very good. The location was great with the resort. The resort had plenty of things to do in the good part of Myrtle Beach.

Bay watch experience

We absolutely loved baywatch and the amenities! Also a Beautiful balcony and ocean view. This week was wonderful. Our room was clean and nice. I do want to mention that when we arrived the outside door was severely covered from top to bottom in black colored mildew and rust. Not sure who is responsible for cleaning it, but it can also serve as a first impression. I didn’t mind cleaning it while there. Another problem we had, the fire alarms constantly went off while cooking or simply when opening the oven. Other than those areas we loved the condo and had a beautiful vacation.

Family Vacation

Everything was great. The only problem is unloading and then where you have to park, it is a headache when going in and out of the parking garage due to the two way traffic and the very small parking spaces.

Great couple get-a-away

Enjoyed our spur of the moment vacation at Bay Watch. The condo was perfect for me and my husband. Had everything we needed for the week and was very clean. The homeowner had a new sofa and chair put in the condo just the week before we arrived. The 16th floor ocean view was the best. Definitely a resort and condo we will be returning to again. The homeowner was very helpful in answering the questions I had prior to our arrival. Thanks for a great vacation Janet!

Very Chaotic

When we arrived it was a half hour wait for elevator and no carts available with no help from employees. The condo was not clean, the jacuzzi tub did not work and no bedding for the sofa bed. Extra blanket was dirty and smelled bad. The owner was gracious and not her fault. She called to have the stove fixed ehich the top was in pieces and jacuzzi tub fixed. Maintenence was supposed to come on monday and they never showed up. Extra bedfing was supposed be delivered it never was. So we had no Jacuzzi tub as stated and no bedding for sofa bed. I cleaned entire condo myself when we came and before we left. Was so much cleaner than when we arrived. Grand Strand who we had to go thru was very rude about our complaints and refused to help except for providing a new coffee pot due to rodent dropping in pot and filth thru out. Im sorry to say we wont stay here again. Definitely not worth the aggravation. Parking was a nightmare as codes would not work. The whole baywatch towers is totally in need of better management. I was extremely disappointed but we still had a nice time overall. Oh and on the last day while checking inder bed, we found bedding. No one thought to tell us it was there and i just never thought to look under a bed in bedroom. Would think would be in a closet. So better communication would have solved at least that issue!!

Perfect vacation

Took my son and his girlfriend as a graduation present before he headed off to boot camp. It was a very nice place. Perfect size for 3 or 4 people.

Great vacation with an ocean view

The check in and out process was easy. Clean rental! Great view! We did not hear any neighbors above us. Only heard a door slam a few times next to us (which is to be expected). So it was more quiet in the condo than i thought it would be on the 16th floor. Good family place to stay! We loved it!

Baywatch Resort

It is all about location! Definitely prime location being right on the beach. The unit itself is nice, but does need some updating. Lots options for pools and lazy rivers for the kids. Hot tubs were a plus, but could have been warmer for sure! Overall, great time and we will be back.

Bay watch condo

Nice clean condo that looks like it has been taken care of in its life. The owner and manager of this condo is a pleasure to deal with. This was my first time staying at a resort type condo and for being early in the season there was still plenty to do. There was a nice breakfast restaurant in the complex along with a comfortable bar. Not to mention all the pools and lazy rivers. Close to all the amenities that north Myrtle beach has to offer.

Not Clean

I’m not sure what cleaning service is used for this property, but they are terrible. The room was filthy, no linen, no towels, balled up dirty blankets in the closet. The floors and bathroom was dirty. Jetted tub doesn’t work. Kitchen is stocked, but with items that really need to be replaced. The location is nice, the resort itself is also not in the best of shape. The property management company was responsive, but having to call for towels and linens (to make the beds ourselves) was very annoying.

Good for the price and location

The property was good for the price, but it could use some upgrades and cleaning could have been better but we understand they were short handed and the holiday week was coming up. The area and the amenities for the price were reasonable. We enjoyed our time there.

Unit is worn down and needs work

The unit needs a lot of work and could use a good deep cleaning and dusting. Shower curtain was full of mold, and there is some mold in the caulking around the tub as well. Bathroom faucet was rusty. Older jetted tub needs a good cleaning. Holes in the bathroom door and in the bedroom wall. Paint peeling from the ceiling in the bedroom and on the balcony. Furniture, especially the couch, was very old and needs replacement. No toaster. Can opener and pizza cutter rusted and unusable. Was only given four small bath towels for a weeks stay and one kitchen towel. Overall the unit is in a great location, but it needs work. The resort itself was extremely crowded and there were absolutely zero COVID protocols. The pool had lots of trash floating in it. The hot tubs were full of sand and one had a live crab hanging out in it. The lobby next to the indoor pool area smelled horrific. Elevators were sketchy, and one stopped on the 12th floor no matter which button you pushed. The beach area in front of the resort was also full of trash and very crowded. Very difficult to find parking or unload luggage or groceries because of lack of carts and so many people coming and going. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Great view, nice variety of pools, close to activities

The owner was great to work with. Very detailed explanation of the check-in process, resort amenities etc. Very quick to respond to our questions, too. Beautiful view from 16th floor, where we watched a wedding take place - along with hundreds of others. The beds were comfortable and so was the small flip-flop printed chair in the living room! Broom and small sweeper included in the condo, and we used these daily to control the amount of sand in our living space. Nice variety of swimming options (pools, lazy rivers, hot tubs and the beach). Towards the end of our week there was an independent vendor with Hawaiian Ice at the poolside - delicious! Laundry facilities are close to the pool. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers for Tower 1. I used these facilities twice in the early morning, and sat by the pool to read and wait. The dryers did not work that well (which in no way is a reflection of the owner). Just be aware and plan accordingly for the dryers, bring extra quarters and allow more time for drying. If you want to air dry towels on the balcony, bring clothespins to clamp towels to the chairs or railing rungs. Otherwise, your towels will likely fly off. Also, allow extra time to get in/out of the parking garage when going on an excursion. This is a busy area in the late afternoon when families are going out for dinner. We ate out for dinner every night. The freshest seafood hands down is in Calabash, NC about 20-30 minutes from this condo (time depends on traffic). Several restaurants clustered together on Nance Street on the waterfront. Fresh seafood options closer to the condo are in Cherry Grove and Little River. We enjoyed The Shack and Snooky’s.

Solid location for a last minute trip

The listing is mostly accurate and the proximity to the beach is fantastic. The room, unfortunately, was not very clean but once we cleaned it ourselves it had almost everything we needed. Bring your own towels as the property does not provide those to vrbo guests. We were thankful that the manager reimbursed us for the towels and my kids had a great time at the pools and beach. The property is older and doesn't have a ton of amenities. The staff at the resort wasn't overly accomodating and the two times we tried to dine on-premises we couldn't find anyone to seat us despite standing at the host kiosk for an extended period of time.

Great Beach front escape

The resort is very comfortable. The pools are nice and not very crowded at least during March. The owner was very helpful.

Great Experience Overall !

Very easy to book and place was super clean, equipped as described 100%. The condo is in a nice quiet section of the Baywatch and the manager was very easy to deal with and responded quickly, highly recommend !

Comfortable with a view

The condo was comfy and just what we needed to cook and sleep. Spent most of the time useing the awesome pools, hot tubs, and going to the beach. The view was also a plus with amazing sunrises!!! Janet is very helpful and sweet as well as the resort staff. Little piece of heaven amongst the craziness in the world today! Literally crying as im packing to leave........going to miss NMB!!!!!

Good Vacation

Had a great time away and enjoyed this property overlooking the ocean. It provided us with what we needed and was a great location. We could go to the beach and then simply take an elevator ride to where our belongings were stored. It was nice not having to walk every where. The staff of the complex were very friendly, helpful, and detailed in cleaning.
