+Available June through August for a seven night rental from Saturday to Saturday.

Also available autumn weekends with a three night minimum.

This well furnished two bedroom home comfortably sleeps 4 with two queen size beds. This year round unit provides propane gas heat for a comfortable stay. It features hardwood floors throughout, central AC, deck for outdoor dining with distant views of the Wells Beach, the Atlantic Ocean and Rachel Carson Reserve Marsh. The deck is also a perfect spot for early risers to enjoy spectacular sunrises with their morning coffee.
Barefoot Cottages Development is located on Route 1 between to Ogunquit and Kennnebunkport, minutes to all attractions, restaurants, shopping and beaches.
The Barefoot community boasts an outdoor heated saltwater pool next to a community game room exercise space and lounge.

The place was very comfortable and clean. The stay was peaceful. The neighbors and check in office staff were friendly and welcoming. The hosts were very quick to communicate and kind/helpful for our questions. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Very comfortable and relaxing in a great location.

We enjoyed our vacation and felt right at home. The property was very clean and well appointed. Richard and Irene gave us great suggestions for places to go and things to do. We would love to return next year!

The best Wells has to offer!

The condo was clean, well-stocked, comfortable. The hosts had stocked the kitchen with everything you could possible need. Have a washer/dryer is always a bonus. The location was perfect for us since we like to go back and forth from Kennebunk to Ogunquit. We will be back.

Great Comfortable Condo

Totally enjoyed our time at Barefoot despite the wet weather. Irene & Richard have made their condo so comfortable and enjoyable. All the necessary items along with the welcoming bottle of wine. Location is great for nearby restaurants & supermarket, especially a AM walk to Congdon famous donut shop. Hopefully a return trip will work next year.

Excellent Cottage

My husband, myself, my daughter and her husband stayed at this beautiful cottage for a week. It was vey clean with many amenities we needed. It was close to stores, supermarket, Walgreens and of course the delicious Congdon’s Donuts. The salt water pool was beautiful. The beach was a short drive. Easy communication with the owners and they even left us a welcome bottle of wine. Our stay was wonderful. We are already thinking of dates for our stay next year. Thank you for a great stay in Wells

Lovely, comfortable accommodation in Southern Coastal Maine

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect base for our first visit to this part of Maine. The condo was well maintained and equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. We would recommend it without hesitation.

What a wonderful week!

A great place for a small family or 2 couples. We enjoyed and used the kitchen daily. Having the kitchen have spices and general condiments was great! The floor plan is well thought out and open concept. We would definitely go back another time 🙂. We used this a a home base exploring Kittery, Kennebunkport, Freeport , whale watched, explored Rachel Carson National Wildlife Preserve, the beach and the pool. The porch entrance was a plus at keeping out sand.

Loved Barefoot Cottages!

We loved our stay at Barefoot Cottages where everyone was very friendly, the grounds were beautiful with the flowers & plantings all well kept and the saltwater pool was a great place to relax! The condo was lovely as were the owners, and had all the comforts of home with even a peekaboo view of the ocean!

Clean and Comfortable Condo Near the Beach

We loved our stay in Wells Maine! This clean and comfortable condo just 1 mile from Wells Beach was perfect for our family of three. It had all of the amenities we needed. The outdoor pool was nice and we enjoyed the club house with an air hockey and ping pong table. Irene and Richard were great hosts. Their communication throughout the process was clear and helpful. We would happily stay here again! Thankyou Irene and Richard for sharing your home with us!

Great Place to Stay

I had a fantastic stay at your home. It was clean, neat, had all the things I needed ! The washer and dryer was a huge plus for me. The pool was warm. Very pretty neighborhood. I will def be staying here again and I'll be on the look out for my vacation week next year. They have a beautiful home very cozy !

We can't wait to come back!

This condo was exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was well stocked. We didn't eat in but definitely could have done so. The living room was well furnished and comfortable for watching TV, reading, chilling out. The bedrooms were comfortable (love the pocket doors). The bathroom was functional and adequate (most important, clean). The outdoor deck was a plus. The complex was very quiet. The pool was wonderful. Overall, we have an awesome time and would definitely rent again if we come back to Wells.

fun times and memories

what a well kept property we had the pleasure to stay in! not only that but it surpassed our expectations. The location was perfect and served our needs quite well. And, when our day was done it felt like home as far as comfort goes. we highly recommend staying here that is for sure. thanks for having us!

Barefoot Cottages, Wells, ME

Me and my family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Barefoot Cottages earlier this week. The unit was impeccably clean, everything we may have needed was right there, both in the unit and/or close proximity. My children had a blast playing pool and ping pong in the Club House and swimming in the heated pool. The beaches are pristine. I highly recommend this facility,

Wonderful stay
