Welcome to the Jefferson Cottage!

This charming cottage with one bedroom + Loft tucked in a quaint and quiet neighborhood in Bend's popular Old Town District. The location of the Jefferson Cottage is exceptional! Walk to Jackson's Corner or down to the river trail. You are in walking distance to all the popular shops, restaurants, and pubs in downtown and in the Old Mill District. Hop on one of the 2 cruiser bikes provided and explore Bend like a local!

You will find so much to enjoy in this charming cottage! There is a queen bedroom on the main level and an enchanting loft with a queen and a twin bed for your extra guests. Great for kids! There is an additional sleeper sofa in the living room with linens provided. 

Hang out on the large back porch, watch a movie on the HDTV or cozy up with a book in the bright and sunny living room. There is a gas fireplace in the dining room, and sit-down dining for 4.

Prepare a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops or relax and cook out on the gas grill on the back deck.

All Bluebird Day Homes proudly feature super-comfy beds with European style bedding including high thread count sheets and fresh, clean duvet covers. The home is equipped with a washer dryer, HDTV, cable, DVD player, free wireless internet, and much more for you to discover!

If you prefer to get out into nature, there are plenty of hiking and mountain bike trails just minutes from town. Mount Bachelor Ski Resort, the spectacular Cascade Mountains, and many lakes are an easy 20 - 25 minute drive.

Great Location

The location of this cute house in Bend was perfect. We were able to walk downtown and see all the shops and restaurants with ease. Beds were super comfortable!

Perfect location!!

Quaint, well appointed with everything we needed to cook and live for two weeks. Walked to old mill snd downtown easily. Cozy and fun! We felt like a local.

Awesome location, homey vibe

This is a great spot to have your home base when exploring Bend. Walkable to a lot and easily drivable to everywhere. The place feels like a true home, much more so than many other places out there.

Quaint home-great location

Our family was in town for a baseball tournament. We've stayed all over Bend in past years. This home was in a fantastic central location with access to the river a few blocks away, great eateries in the neighborhood and walkable to both Old Mill district and Historic downtown Bend. Would love to stay here again.

Comfortable home in the heart of Old Bend

The house was charming and cozy, exactly as advertised, and was a very comfortable home base for our stay in Bend. Downtown Bend, with all its great restaurants and shops, was an easy 10-15 minute walk. The river is even closer. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Bend.

Wonderful cottage and location

We loved our stay at the Jefferson cottage. It was just as fun and cozy in real life as it appeared in the listing, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The location was perfect for us - a quick walk to both downtown and all its shops and restaurants, and to the river and the river path. We loved having the upstairs with 2 beds for our teens (the stairs are steep, and our 6'4" son had to duck when upstairs, but he didn't mind), and the window air conditioners both upstairs and downstairs kept the house comfortable during the day (it cooled down outside nicely at night, so we opened up windows to cool down instead). We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Bend!

Old Mill locale

We felt this house was just okay. The photos look pretty nice, but it really is an old house with lots of wear and tear, perhaps what make it charming to some. It just felt a little grimy. Bed in the main level bedroom wasn't that comfy. The house is also currently listed for sale. Location is good for easy get around town, walkable to much.

Everything was perfect!

We drove to Bend from the Chicago area and were looking for a house that was within walking distance to the Hayden Homes Amphitheater (we saw an Avett Brothers concert). We had five people (my wife and I and our three young kids), and this house was perfect for what we needed. The kids loved sleeping upstairs in the loft, and the downstairs room that my wife and I slept in was comfortable. We loved the deck and the yard, and the neighborhood itself was quiet and friendly. We were walking distance to a lot of restaurants and breweries too, and all of those places were very kid-friendly. Bend had a ton of things to do, and we definitely plan on coming back (or just moving there).

Home is located walking distance to downtown. The neighborhood is quiet. Everything you need is at the house. The deck in the back is awesome for summer time guests/talk & BQ!

Super cute cottage!

Terrific location and amenities in this Bend cottage. Property management company was super helpful in answering a couple of questions we had. Loved the lighted deck and well-stocked kitchen. Would recommend highly!

Essence of Bend

This little house is the essence of Bend. It is cozy, inviting and full of fun surprises. The art on the wall (including musical instruments), the bedding, the kitchen ware are all high end and lend to the feeling of being pampered. The location is a wonderful short walk to either downtown or the river walk. We had a wonderful stay.

Jefferson Cottage

The property was great and as advertised. The check in process was good because of the property managers Bluebird Day rentals. They gave us the correct code. The information from VRBO was incorrect and we wouldn’t have been able to get in. You can park in the driveway and that was great but if you had a second car in your group there would have been no street a parking. People parked tight up to our driveway.The only other thing is that the lights in the bathroom are inadequate. I had to put my makeup on in the kitchen!

Great house, great location

Very homey place in Bend. Everything you want to see easily walkable. Comfortable beds and great linens, well appointed kitchen with anything you would ever need. The upstairs has no AC and some narrow steep stairs. It would be a great space for kids or young people.

We moved to Bend 15 years ago to raise our daughters, and fell in love with its abundant natural beauty, friendly, welcoming community, and simple lifestyle. Work has taken us to Portland where we currently spend most of our time, but we miss the fresh air and the sun soaked days of Central Oregon and come back to Bend whenever we can. Our family loves to bike and ski together, and on evenings when we stay in, we are can be found playing ukeleles and cooking fresh pasta or sushi.

After we sold our family home, before we found this cottage, we rented homes through Bluebird Day Vacation Rentals. Their customer service and attention to comfort and detail is truly one of the best we had ever experienced on vacation. Having been Bend residents for 13 years, we really appreciated their philosophy of helping guests experience Bend like the natives do! They are absolutely the best choice to work with, and share our commitment to making our guests feel welcome and at home.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We feel so lucky to have found the Jefferson Cottage. It is spacious for a one bedroom, and we have recently renovated it with new granite countertops, restored hardwood floors, quality lighting, a spacious deck and more. There is a cozy gas stove to keep you warm in the winter, and a fully outfitted kitchen if you want to cook in. The location is also amazing. From here, we are steps away from delicious restaurants, great breweries, Mirror Pond, the Old Mill District, and the music, art and festivals of downtown. We leave our car in the driveway and walk or bike everywhere. The ease with which one can get to the mountain to ski, to one of the many trails to hike or bike, to the river to float, paddle board, swim or fish, or to a park to just sit and listen to the breeze in the pine trees is unparalleled. Really, the list of opportunities right outside our front door is amazing!
